Emily POV:
"Eden! Come on!" I beg to the toddler.

"Why?" She inquires.

"We're going to go see sissy!" I say happily.

"YAY!" She giggles, and runs out the door to my car.

Alison is already sitting in the passenger seat waiting for Eden and me.

I buckle Eden into her seat, and then get in the drivers seat.

"Vwoom vwoom!" Eden squeals from the back.

"Ahh! We cwash! Oh no!" She shrieks.

She's got quite the imagination.

This is how is goes for the next twenty minutes to the hospital.

Eden playing and screaming, Alison sighing and groaning, and me laughing and quietly singing.

It's going to be so much fun when Charlotte gets here...Not.

Unless they're quiet or sleeping. Then it's fun.

We go into Charlotte's little room, and Eden stands on the chair so she can see in better.

"Hi, baby." She says, and waves at Charlotte.

She watched in amazement as Charlotte opens her eyes.

I've only seen them once, but I couldn't see the color very well because she couldn't quite open her eyes.

They're a bright, shining, radiant blue.

"Wook mama!" Eden squeals. "See open huh eyes!"

Alison smiles, and snaps a quick picture before Charlotte closes her eyes again.

"Whe we bwig..." Eden begins. She can't speak very well yet, so she takes short breaks. "Wee go tu space!" She says in delight. "And bay be big! And we happy!"

Dream big, Little One.

I smile, and kiss Eden's head.

"One day." I whisper.

Alison POV:
We've been sitting in here for about ten minutes in silence.

Until Charlotte starts crying.

She screams a loud, newborn cry.

"You've got quite the lungs, kid." I say in amazement.

The only time she's ever cried is when have was born nearly three weeks ago. And it lasted about ten seconds, and was very quiet.

So really, this sound makes me happy.

But I'll probably get tired of it after thirty seconds.

A nurse comes in, and gently runs Charlotte's chest to soothe her.

Charlotte stops crying, and I snap there in shock.

The cry is gone as quick as it came.

"Wow." Emily whispers.

"I don't think Eden even cried like that." I say.

Eden is standing on the chair with her hands clasped over her ears.

"Ow." She says, making Emily and me laugh. "Loud."

"That was loud." Emily agrees.

"See can no cwy in space." Eden says.

"Keep, dreaming, kid." Emily laughs.

"Maybe you should stick to earrings and for now." I say jokingly.

"Ew." Eden speaks quietly.
