Alison POV:
"Alison, what is this?" Emily asks.

"I don't know. I seriously don't." I tell her.

"Well, I started looking through it. And Charlotte DiLaurentis was admitted a few weeks after Charles died." She tells me.

"What?" I ask shocked.

"You said someone came it. Did you see a face?" Spencer questions Emily.

"No. But she was angry when she saw the files were gone." Emily tells us.

"Did you notice anything weird about her? At all?" Aria asks.

"She called someone. She said 'they' were gone. And asked if the person saw a brunette run out." Emily tells us. "This person was following me!" Emily whisper yells in a panic.

Toby walks in and smiles.

"I got the tape player." He says.

---

"They're numbered. Play this one first." Spencer says.

"Please state your name." A guy says in monotone.

"Charles DiLaurentis." A child's voice says.

"Why are you here? At Radley?"

"My parents told me I had to go here."

"What happened with your sister?"

"She was crying and baths always make me feel better. I wanted to help her." He says sadly.

"And then what happened?"

"My dad came in. He was mad. He's always mad at me."

"Why is that?"

"He thinks I'm weird. That there's something wrong with me."

"Why does he think there's something wrong with you?"

"Because I like to wear my mommy's dresses."

"Wh-"

"I don't want to do this anymore. I want to go home." Charles says.

I can tell he was crying at this point.

We listen to the rest.

They're usually just questions asking what he thinks about Radely and what his favorite things are.

There's one from when he was twelve years old.

"Play it." Spencer sighs tiredly.

I look over at the time and notice it's already almost midnight.

Eden and Charlotte are already asleep. Obviously.

"Why did you push Marion Cavanaugh off the roof?" The guy asks.

Spencer's head immediately shoots up and Toby's eyes get watery.

All of us are alert now.

"I didn't! I swear I didn't!" Charles cries.

This goes on. Them talking about Marion Cavanaugh's death.

Toby is crying and Spencer is comforting him.
