52. A Persistent Ex

"Hua Hua, you are gonna be late."

Yu Hua opened his eyes tiredly and looked at the handsome face of his boyfriend. It still felt like a dream even when it had already been a month and half since they started to date.

"Good morning," the actor said with a groggy smile and let the CEO trim his bed hair with his elongate fingers.

"You look tired, sorry it is my fault," Hu Jing Yao said with a mischievous smile and stood up, reaching his hand forward.

"You always say the same, but never let me sleep," Yu Hua complained with a glare, but took the CEO's hand anyway.

Shrugging with a light chuckle, Hu Jing Yao pulled the actor out of the bed and personally assisted him to the bathroom.

After the couple had their breakfast alongside their usual morning chit-chat, the CEO drove the actor to the new set for the last quarter of the shooting and left before being seen by any staff. Although the CEO didn't show great effort to hide their relationship, he was very discreet about it. Only his family and Wei-Yong couple knew about them.

It was enough, wasn't it?

While Yu Hua was watching his lover leaving, a certain actor approached him from behind.

"Wow, he still drives you here everyday, such a good lover!" Jing Yong said while clapping his hands appreciatively. After Yu Hua told them about his relationship with the CEO, he got used to teasing his brother about it for fun. Well, it was fun when Ming Wei wasn't around because his chick was still very over-protective about his best friend.

Yu Hua blushed profusely, "don't tease me, otherwise I will let Ming Wei handle you."

"Traitor!" Jing Yong exclaimed with horror, "you know my chick has such a temper, don't you pity me?!"

Yu Hua chuckled in the face of the younger's melodrama and hooked his arm around his shoulder, directing him towards the dressing room.

While they were waiting for their scenes after their make-up was done, Jing Yong slumped next to Yu Hua and with a low voice, he asked "does that Li Na b*tch still bother you?"

Yu Hua sighed heavily, "after we changed the hotel, she stopped coming, but she still calls Jing Yao now and then."

"Does he talk to her?"

The older actor shook his head, "he blocked the number, but she calls from other numbers like a stalker."

Jing Yong clicked his tongue, irritated, "why Mr. Hu doesn't report her to the police?"

Yu Hua shrugged with another sigh, "I don't know, maybe he is afraid of her exposing our relationship."

The younger actor frowned, "it shouldn't be the reason, who would want to hide such an amazing boyfriend like you, ge?"

Yu Hua chuckled despite the heavy topic. It was so nice to have good friends around. He patted Jing Yong's leg, "who knows? But I assure you I don't mind. He is an absolutely wonderful partner and I don't want to cause any problems for him or for his family company."

"You are right, I am sorry, I shouldn't have said something like that when I also can't announce my relationship with my chick."

"It is okay, Ming Wei understands," Yu Hua reassured the younger, "anyway, nobody has to know it or approve it for us to be happy, right?"

Jing Yong smiled brightly, "yes, ge!"

"GUUUYYSSS!" Lu Mei's voice barged in before she entered the room.

"What?!" Jing Yong shouted with panic.

"A reporter from CBL will come here to do an interview with us! We will be famous even before the drama starts airing!"

"Nice!" Jing Yong started clapping his hands with Lu Mei while Yu Hua chuckled at their cute childish response.

As Lu Mei announced, later the same day, the director called Yu Hua and told him that he was the first to do the interview as per the reporter's wish. He admonished Yu Hua to remain calm and praise the drama as much as he could.

Although he didn't understand why the interviewer wanted to start with him, Yu Hua nodded at everything the director said as they walked to the small room where the director emptied for the interview.

"Good afternoon," he said respectfully to the CBL team of five.

"Good afternoon," the only woman replied, but when she turned her face to Yu Hua, it became certain that it wouldn't be a good afternoon.

Li Na... what the hell!
