Married

"Alex... can I say something crazy ?" George asked as the two were cuddled up on their sofa.
"Yeah babe what is it ?" Alex yawned, still
resting his head on his boyfriends chest.
"Let's get married!" George exclaimed. Alex sat up and looked directly at him his confusion visible.
"W-what?" Alex stuttered.
"Let's get married let's just do it" George explained.

"Is this you proposing ?" Alex laughed out of shock.
"Well... erm yeah... hang on wait a minute" George said beginning to feel bad for not getting Alex a ring. He stood up off of the sofa and ran to the bedroom grabbing one of his own rings off of the side table.
"Erm well I didn't think this through but this will have to do until I can get you a real one" George smiled as he stood in front of a now standing Alex.

George dropped to one knee and smiled up at Alex.
"Let's do it baby... let's get married and not tell anyone... so Alex Elmslie will you marry me?" George smiled.
"Fucking hell why not" Alex giggled and pulled George up off of the floor and pulled him in for a hug. George pulled away and slipped his ring onto Alex's finger, it was slightly big but that didn't matter right now.

George hugged Alex again picking him off the ground and spinning him around. When he put him down he kissed his lips softly and smiled into the kiss.
"Fuck I love you" George whispered as he leant into Alex's neck.
"I love you too..." Alex said weakly as he was trying to suppress a breathy moan as George sucked a mark into his neck.
"Okay get your cute butt in that bedroom now Mr spontaneous marriage" Alex hummed.

"Okay fiancé" George smirked as he scooped Alex up into his arms. The younger of the two let out a squeal as his feet lifted off the ground. George carried his new fiancé to their room laying him gently on the bed before climbing on top of him.

The next morning Alex woke up tangled in Georges arms the older man still snorting with his head on the pillow. He lifted his hand to his face and saw the ring on his finger and remembered what had happened last night. He was now engaged to his best friend completed spontaneously and now he was going to marry the man. He couldn't help but let a smile spread across his face when he looked at his fiancé's smiling face. That was one of Alex's favourite things about George, the fact he smiled in his sleep.

Alex sat up and untangled himself from Georges arms before planting kisses on his face to wake him up.
"George... wakey wakey" Alex whispered as he stroked the mans face. George opened his eyes to see Alex smiling above him, the brunette was holding his hand up to show George whilst fluttering his fingers. George couldn't help but smile brightly when he saw his ring on Alex's finger.

"We're getting married" George croaked, sleep still lacing his voice. Alex nodded and smiled as George took his hand and kissed it.
"You're crazy you know... you asked me to marry you" Alex said still shocked from last nights events.
"I'm not crazy baby... I just know that I want marry you and I couldn't wait to ask you" George smiled.

"You really mean that ?" Alex sniffed feeling slightly emotional.
"Alex I'd marry you tomorrow if you'd let me" George smiled truthfully.
"Will you? What if we do it like actually just get married tomorrow..." Alex suggested a nervous smile creeping over his face
"Fuck okay then sure why not" George smiled and leant forward to kiss Alex.

"I may or may not have done some research and erm all we need is a witness each and we can get married in a courthouse non of that religious stuff just me and you and our love" George explained realising how cringe that sounded.
"Oh my god George... I fucking love you" Alex sniffed as he hugged his fiancé.
"Who do we want there? I was thinking Will and James..." George suggested as he took Alex's hand into his own.

"Wouldn't have anyone else... what if we tell them we need them for filming and then it's actually just us getting married" Alex smiled.
"That's genius babe... let's go book us a wedding" George smirked.
