"Wait what!?" Patton yelled. "You don't just say that so casually!" Patton scolded.

"Ha ha ha, very funny guys" Roman muttered with an eye roll. "Yes, I have soulmates, and one is named Patton, but that doesn't mean it's you guys. I only really found I even have soulmates just a few weeks ago" Roman mumbled, taking a bite of their rice, only glancing at the Oreo which basically scared them. It had very little calories, but since it was homemade it could have more, they were struggling with just the rice and chicken. Then even after that they had some strawberry's and stuff to eat too. They didn't want to be rude and not eat it though.

"I'm not messing around Roman" Virgil said firmly. "Ask Janus, he has your name basically printed on him." Janus nodded and Roman just rolled their eyes again. "And then Patton can feel his soulmates pain, so if I were to flick you or something, he'd feel it too"

"This isn't funny Virgil" Roman glared.

"I'm not fucking messing around! Logan has a string that leads to you" Virgil explained. "And I have soulmate songs" Roman rolled their eyes once more.

"I really don't like this joke" Roman mumbled, cleaning up their lunch as they were going to just go sit in the cafe at this point.

"We're not joking kiddo" Patton said softly.

"And I don't believe you" Roman flared, they stood, quickly taking their things and walking away.

"Wow, great job you guys" Janus said sarcastically.

Roman huffed, sitting down in the corner of the cafe were Remus was sitting, talking with Logan. They quickly buried their head in their arms, not caring enough to greet either of them. They felt a tap in their shoulder and saw Logan hand them a piece of paper.

Are you okay?

Roman rolled their eyes.

"I'm fine" they said softly, turning to Remus who looked at Roman in confusion.

"You know nerdy wolverine here?" Remus asked. Roman nodded and looked down at their arms. "Did you finish your lunch?"

"No"

You probably should though, everyone needs to eat three meals

"I know that Logan" Roman sighed, pulling out their lunch again. They had thankfully finished the rice and chicken, and were moving onto the fruits. They glanced at their arm, seeing some writing from their soulmates, they smiled and then frowned at the message.

I swear to god Roman, I'm not fucking lying

Romans breath caught in their throat, and tears welled in their eyes. They had indisputable proof now, they couldn't deny it, they couldn't do anything but except the truth. They had to suck it up and deal with the fact. But they couldn't, they started crying instead. They started to cry because they were overwhelmed. They just got out of the hospital which they had been misgendered the entire time, and had been told they had an ED, then they get back, just to be told they have four soulmates. And not to mention Andrew was still in their head and they were still new to the school. What if the four, well, Logan wasn't really apart of it, but what if they were like Andrew? What if they were just looking to hurt them? Roman was hyperventilating at this point, they had tears streaming down their face at a rapid pace. They knew Logan and Remus were trying to calm them, but they didn't seem to hear them, which lead them farther into the mist of their spiraling mind.

"Roman!" Remus yelled, it broke through the fog that surrounded Romans ears, and they looked at him. "Your alright, just breathe with me" Roman nodded, taking in deep breaths as well as they could.

It took awhile, but they calmed down, only small hiccups coming from them.

"See? All better now, what happened?" Logan seemed to pause, cursing softly and getting up and leaving the cafe. Remus glanced at him leaving before going back to Roman.

"I found my soulmates" Roman whispered.

"That's great!" Remus said with a grin.

"I didn't believe them though" Roman mumbled. "I told them it was a bad joke"

"Well, they'll understand eventually, Andrew did a lot to you, plus you just got out of the hospital" Remus said softly. Roman nodded softly. "You should finish up you lunch then we both need to get to class"

"I have class with Virgil though" Roman muttered.

"Well, then go to the nurse and tell them your not feeling great maybe? Or just skip class and wait for me to get out of class" Remus suggested. Roman nodded, taking a small bite of the fruit they had.

Roman hid away in the same storage closet as a few days before, they sat their and waited for classes to end. They didn't care how upset their mother would be, they just wanted to go to home.
