Roman finds out about their soulmates

"What the hell? Do you have fucking sticky notes or something too?" Remus asked with a laugh. Whitney pulled out three pens, a pencil, a stack of sticky notes, and even a ruler from their pockets.

"I have a lot of stuff in my pockets." He said blankly, before laughing a little.

"Why!?" Remus cackled.

"Never know if ill need it" Whitney said with a grin.

"Oh my god" Roman laughed. "I cant believe you right now" They chuckled.

"Oh whatever. I'm the one who's prepared, ill be the one laughing when we need this stuff" Whitney huffed. He put it all back into his pockets, carrying on.

"Is there literally anything else in your pockets?" Roman asked, uncapping the sharpie to continue drawing on their arms, now making a butterfly on a flower.

"Of course, that was just one pocket" Whitney said with a straight face before smiling and pulling out a little titanic that was sinking. Roman and Remus laughed out a why. Whitney shrugged. "Oh, and then I have like, ten fidget toys, and a rubber band" Remus jumped at the fact the other had fidget toys.

"Dude can I borrow one!?" Remus asked quickly. Whitney pulled out around five or so of them.

"Which one?"

"You two are crazy" Roman muttered with a small laugh, now working on another flower. They paused, looking at the writing slowly appearing on their arm. They stopped walking, frozen in place. Once the writing was done Romans eyes snapped up with tears.

Ohmygosh! Your drawings are so pretty!! I wish I could draw like that!!

Everything after that seemed like a dream, or a nightmare, Roman couldn't tell which. They have a soulmate? Roman started to hyperventilate, looking around to try and place where they were.

"Ro? You okay? What happened?" Remus asked quickly, standing next to them. Roman locked eyes with more writing appearing.

The anatomy of the butterfly could use some work, which I'd be happy to help with, but other then that, it looks very nice as Patton said.

Romans breathing stopped, shaking in their spot. Two? Roman could handle none, they were almost happy that way. Whitney came over now, asking if Roman would be ok if they were touched. Roman nodded softly, falling into Remus.

"H-How?" Roman rasped. They thought they didn't have anyone. They didn't think they had a soulmate, or soulmates. Another thing of writing started to appear.

Your work is astonishing, I'm quite interested on why you chose to draw that breed of butterfly.

Roman looked around, latching onto nothing and everything at the same time.

"Hey, Ro, your okay, your wish is true now! Your okay, you'll be okay" Remus said softly. Roman started to cry, seeing the last writing show up.

Where did you learn to draw like that!? I'll need some lessons :P

Four!? Roman looked at Remus for help.

"R-Rem?" Roman questioned, their breath picking up again. Whitney appeared again.

"It's okay, breath with me Roman" Whitney said quickly. Whitney took deep breath, letting Roman match his breathing. Roman calmed down slightly.

"I have four soulmates..." Roman paused. "I have four soulmates Remus!!" Roman said with a laugh, a smile appearing on their face. "Remus!" Roman yelled, shaking Remus. Whitney laughed.

"Hot cocoa to celebrate, agreed?" Whitney asked. Roman nodded.

"Let's go!" Roman yelled with a grin, rushing off to the cafe, smiling brightly and yelling loudly in joy.

Remus shook his head with a laugh.

The three entered the shop, Whitney getting a small hot cocoa, and two mediums.

"Tell me again why you only want a small?" Whitney asked, giving the small to Roman. They shrugged.

"Should I write back?" Roman mumbled, staring at the writing. However, some writing started to disappear, and Roman started to panic. Why was it going away? Were they seeing things!? Remus looked over with a hum.

"Maybe thank them?" He suggested. Roman hesitated.

"No, that seems too small of a thing" Roman mumbled, panicking when the bright colors started to wash away. By now, the second person who had written had gotten rid of their ink, and the colors were almost gone. They quickly opened the marker.

Don't get rid of the colors?

They wrote quickly. Remus looked over.

"Don't want the flowers to be colorless?" Remus asked softly. Roman nodded. Whitney pointed at Romans arm, new writing slowly showing up, it had the same style as the first one.

We were going to make it so Lo didn't have itchy paint all over his arms, we could redo it in water colors tho!

Roman nodded in understanding, realizing that this was the writing of the so called Patton. The second person, apparently called Lo, was the one who had written second and had the colorful paint on their, his? Hands.

Roman then turned away, joining the conversation the other two were having, something about how to hide a body or whatever, Roman shook their head fondly.

"You two are so strange."

"Oh whatever Mx. four soulmates" Whitney said jokingly. Roman laughed lightly, looking at the new writing.

It was the writing of the last person, the writing was a little scratchy like, that's how they could tell.

Roman smiled, knowing with this type of mark, it didn't actually let you write your own name. The reason he had Pattons name was because someone else had written it and said it was someone else.
