*A/N :
Quick heads up !
This chapter is inspired from a PJO head canon I saw. Unfortunately, I don't know who created this as my friend sent me screenshots, but I'm putting it out there that this chapter WAS NOT inspired by me.
Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.

3rd Person's POV ~ (A month later)
"Wear it !" Chaeyoung shoves the clothes to Lisa.
"No !"
"I want to get a kick out of his reaction."
"You can get a kick out of mine !" Lisa retaliates, already lifting her foot.
"No !" She yelps, flinching out of Lisa's way. "Violence is never the best answer." She mutters sourly, feeling the need to strangle the lean girl in front of her who currently had her gym bag slung over shoulder with shorts and a simple white shirt.
"But an answer nonetheless." Lisa muses.
"Were you raised by wolves ?" Chaeyoung bares her teeth at Lisa. The latter just grins and ruffles the former's hair, patting her shoulder.
"You're cute." She smiles, readjusting her grip on her bag. "I was raised by my family."
"Let the poor girl go, Chae." Jisoo pops her head out of the doorway, finally deciding to interrupt the amusing conversation. Jisoo drags Chaeyoung into her room, shutting the door with a final wink at Lisa.
"Finally..." Lisa sighs in exhaustion.
"Oh come on, she wasn't being that insufferable." Jungkook smiles, walking into the living room.
"How much did you hear ?"
He puts down his phone and sighs mockingly, "Finally." He says in a poor imitation of her voice. She grins at him and shoves his shoulder, making way to walk to the door.
"Where're you going ?"
"I'm going to workout." She slaps her abdomen. "The ol' six pack melted right back into my stomach. Oh, and I'm supposed to train the new track student. Some rookie that says he's never used our equipment. You can come too."
"You and me." Jungkook says out of the blue. "Tonight. A date. Wear something you like."
"Yes !" She smiles, liking the idea. She lurches forward and takes his wrist. "Let's just go right now."
He laughs and stops her, gently taking her hand off his. "You go train that student, Shortie. I might stop by the gym anyway. I need to lift some weights too."
"Negotiation." She says to herself proudly.
He grins, walking closer to her and not minding the fact that her brows furrowed in confusion. His eyes flit around for anybody watching and when he spots no one, his fingers float to her chin, pulling it up and pressing a kiss on her lips before pulling away in a heartbeat.
"See you in a couple." He says casually, winking at her before walking into his room.
She rolls her eyes at him, her eyesight catching his devious smirk and him pretending to lift his shirt off, only then bothering to start to close the door. "Flirt." She says loudly, getting him to flinch and slam the door shut by accident.
She chuckles at him, waving goodbye though nobody was there to see. She swings the door open, trotting down the stairs and nearly sliding down before she catches her balance with her hand over her thumping heart and begins to foolishly resume trotting down the stairs again. She jumps the last couple steps, a swooping feeling flouncing around in her stomach when she was in the air, the soles of her feet tingling when they land against the pavement.
She walked into the gym, and she was taken aback by the boy standing in front of her. He was smirking at her, a santa hat lopsided on his head. "Why're you wearing that ?" She asks, jutting her chin at the velvet headpiece he had on.
"Because I like Christmas." He shrugs.
"It's summer." She points out.
"So ?" He raises an eyebrow as though he was standing up for his friend, Out-of-season-hat.
"Right, sorry." She says sourly.
"What's your name ?"
"Lisa."
"Cai." He thrusts his hand out. She takes it rather gingerly, slightly taken aback when he shook her hand for at least a minute straight.
"Kai ?" She asks, her memories digging out another person with the same name.
"With a 'c'," He nods proudly, fixing the hat to be more lopsided on his head. She shrugs and sets the leg workouts up for him, letting him start while she headed to the running equipment.
About thirty minutes later, he'd quickly abandoned his post, coming to watch her with a rather hotblooded smirk. "Yes ?" She asks, slightly uncomfortable. Sweat was dripping down her back, her high ponytail grazing beads of perspiration on her nape.
"Are you from Tennessee? Because you're the only-"
"Ten I see, I know," Lisa interrupted. She sighed, looked at the door, then continued to exercise. "Listen, Cai," She says his name almost spitefully, "I don't want to be rude but-"
"Then don't be!" He cried, his santa hat nearly falling off to the side. Lisa had the urge to fix it straight, but she was far more repulsed by the idea of touching her annoying classmate.
"Go on a date with me, Lizzy."
"Don't call me that. I hate that nickname." She says. She didn't know why she had a certain hatred towards nicknames. Then again, she could only ever remember liking one nickname. Shortie.
He blinked in surprise. "Okay. Just--please. I know you'll have a fun time with me."
Lisa pretended to ponder the idea, her legs no longer pedaling the machine as she stops to chug a large gulp of water. "I'm sorry." She winces, trying to be nice. "I'm not single."
Cai smirked. "Playing hard to get. That's cool. You know, I bet this boyfriend of yours doesn't even exist."
Lisa finished exercising and moved on to a different machine, her gym back thrown off to the side with sweat glistening over her muscles. Unfortunately, he followed.
"Then I must've been imagining him for the past 3 years of my life." She says humorlessly. "If you're right about me, that is."
He furrowed his eyebrows, obviously trying to work out the math in his pea sized brain. "You've been dating him for 3 years ?"
"I wish." She smiled fondly before turning slightly red and coughing. "Uh, I mean, no. We've known each other 3 years, been dating for 2."
"Dating some other guy ?" Jung kook's voice approaches behind her. Lisa's eyes widened, the gym equipment forgotten. She could practically hear the grin in his voice. "I should've known."
"Jungkook ?" She asks, walking over to his direction. "What are you doing here ?"
He grinned, showing off his charming smile. "I kinda go to school here."
"You do ?" She grins sarcastically.
"Me too." Cai interrupted. He was standing next to the bleachers awkwardly, his santa hat still lopsided and floppy. His expression was slightly pained, yet still persistent.
"Oh, hi man," Jungkook said, his oblivious soul completely missing the body language of Lisa's peer. He offered a small wave, which the boy didn't return. "What's with the santa hat ?"
"So you're the boyfriend ?" Cai asks, ignoring Jungkook's jibing question. His hair looked oily under the lights of the gym, nothing like the fluffy heaven that laid on Jungkook's head.
"Yup. You're the new student we're supposed to train ?"
"She mentioned me ?"
"No." Lisa said harshly. "Can you please leave me alone ?"
"Okay." He said. "You guys can talk for now. I'll see you later when I walk you to your dorm."
"If you get anywhere near my dorm, I will punch you."
He laughed, dodging the sincerity in her promise. He turned to Jungkook who was watching the interaction with a unbothered expression. Cai opened his mouth, slightly disappointed.
"Is she really your girlfriend ?"
