Your POV
It's Christmas Eve and everyone is at the lair chilling and all. You've been spending the last few days there doing what you usually do - train and stuff like that - and helping out with the Christmas decor. They managed to get a Christmas tree, and everyone got to put at least one colored ball. Not only that, but you and Mikey totally owned the kitchen since yesterday as you two got the Christmas dishes done. Meanwhile, something that you never thought you'd ever see was happening. Splinter, for some goddamn reason, let the guys try sake, that Japanese drink that it's made out of rice. Until dinner they were holding themselves back, but after it they decided to make a competition of who drinks more. Mikey was out of it, since he didn't like it, just like you and April, but the other three turtles and Casey were going all out.
Raph and Casey were the only ones literally in it, while Donnie and Leo were drinking slowly as they chatted. You and April were by their side in case we had to help them with getting up and stuff. To your surprise, Leo didn't seem to be so drunk, but you could tell that he was getting there. All you could do was roll your eyes, shake your head and make sure that he wouldn't try to do anything crazy.
Speaking of that, April had just knocked out Donnie and Casey for trying to make a move on her. Casey only tried to do so because Raph passed out a couple of minutes before that so let's say he got nothing better to do.
"Remind me to never get on your bad side, April." You say as you somehow manage to stifle a laughter. Then, you hear Leo mumbling and turn to him. "Leo, don't you think you've been drinking too much sake?"
"*Hic* Nah... It's fine (n/n)... It's Christmas! ... Right...? Heh... *Hic*" He says. Just then, he passes out on the floor shocking you.
"L-Leo?!"
"Oh, my God!" April exclaims as she finally realized what had just happened.
Then, you notice Splinter walking up to you. "Oh, my! Did Leonardo pass out?" He askes.
"Sensei, please help." You whine. You've never seen Leo like that, so his current condition worried you.
"Perhaps we should let him sleep. But give him water and guide him to his room once he wakes up." He says before starting to leave the room.
"W-Wait! You're leaving, Sensei?"
"It is getting late, my dear. I suggest you all do the same. Good night, every one. And Merry Christmas." He says and leaves to his room. Once he's gone, you turn to April with a sort of 'help me' face.
She only scratched the back of her head. "S-Sorry, Y/n. But I should really get Casey home. Besides, you've got Mikey to help you out." She says before waking Casey up and helping him leave the lair.
You turn to Mikey only to see him snoring as he fell asleep in front of the TV. You roll your eyes, wake him up and manage to get him to help you to get Donnie and Raph to their rooms. As for Leo, you assured Mikey you'd manage to help him out by yourself.
As you walk back to the living room after saying goodnight to Mikey, you notice Leo still asleep on the floor, so you get your sleeves up and somehow manage to get him to the couch. Guess training with Master Splinter is paying off. Anyways, once he's on the couch, you put his head on your lap, and you can feel your cheeks burning as you do that. (What am I doing?!)
Just then, he suddenly moves around and you almost jump in surprise. (... That surprised me...) As you relax, and before you can think twice, you start to gently rub Leo's head, like you're petting him. You can't help but smile. "... Cute." You mumble.
"Ngh..." You hear Leo mumble. After that, he opens his eyes as he also groans. But all you can do is smile to see him not asleep anymore.
"Leo! You're awake!" You say happily, but soon enough you change to your worrying demeanor. "Are you okay? Does your head hurt? Oh, right! I should get you some water. I'll be back in a bit, okay?" You say as you start to try to leave the couch, but you stop short as Leo cups your cheek and makes you turn to him.
"Mistle... toe..." He mumbles, but you don't understand what he just said. "Leo? Did you say someth--"
Before you can finish, he pulls you closer to him and his lips meet yours in a soft kiss. Your eyes widen and you freeze completely in your seat. After he pulls back, he sits up and leaves you as red as a strawberry. "... Uh... I uhm... T-This is... Umm... L-Le... Ah!" You finally realize he sat up and turn to him. "L-Leo, wait! Y-You're not supposed to sit up so quickly! Y-You should rest and... Well uh..."
He turns to you with a neutral face. "That position was... Uncomfortable."
"H-Huh? W-What are y--" Again before you can finish he gets really close to you, his body almost hovering yours while the same happened to his lips that are almost brushing yours. That startles you and you begin to panic. You've always had a crush on Leo, but his actions were too much for you to bear. "T... Too... TOO CLOSE!" You exclaim as you shut your eyes and push him away. He doesn't move for a bit, so you open your eyes only to almost have a heart attack as he holds one of your hands and kisses your palm. "Um... L-Le--"
"So, Y/n... Want to try calling me 'cute'... One more time?" He asks as his blue eyes lay upon your embarrassed self as if he didn't mind at all.
"W-Wait! You hear--"
"You know, Y/n... I don't really like that word... It feels like you're underestimating me... And that I'm nothing but a cute mutant turtle to you... Maybe you don't really like me..."
Your eyes widen for a second as you remember what April told you one time. That your feelings for Leo were so obvious he might as well already know you have a crush on him. And his comment just now only confirmed it. So, there's no point in hiding now, is there? "B-But I do! I mean, I'd still find you... Um... Cute... But o-of course I uhmm... W-Well..."
He suddenly gets closer to you as he brings your hand closer to his lips and you can tell his eyes are begging you to say it. "Then tell me... I want to... Hear you say it."
"I... I... Um..." (Should I really say it? I'd like to say it to his normal self, not a drunk version of him. But... His eyes... He really wants to know, doesn't he? Also I have the feeling that the normal Leo would never ask me about my feelings for him. *Sigh* Better now than never... Right?) After your debated in your mind, you gather every ounce of courage you have and speak up. "I! I l... L-Li...!"
And before you know it, he falls asleep on top of you. (... Seriously?)
Next Morning...
Leo's POV
I wake up with a bad headache and with the sound of Mikey's laughter. I open my eyes to see him covering his mouth in order not to laugh any louder, and I also see April as she's taking a picture of me. Just as I start to get up, I feel like someone is hugging me. My eyes widen and my cheeks burn as I realize who it is and instantly get up. "Y-Y-Y/N?!!" I ask loudly as I see it is Y/n who was sleeping with me on the couch as she lazily rubs her eyes.
"Ngh... What's going on?" Just then, her face becomes a strawberry while I can bet mine is almost as red as Raph's mask. "Ah!"
"Uuuhh... Um... H-Hey! M-Merry Christmas, (n/n)!" I say trying to sound casual as I sit on the couch a bit away from her while I looked to the side besides laughing nervously.
"U-Uh-huh! Y-Yeah!" She says.
"Aw, look at you two. You're so cute!" April says.
"Oh, my gosh!" Mikey shouts out of nowhere.
"What is it, Mikey?" I ask trying to change the subject.
"Only now I realized that Y/n has a mistletoe on her hair!" He says as he points at it. I turn to it and see her eyes wide as if she realized something.
"Ooohh, you know what this means, right?" April askes teasingly.
"L-Look guys, I don't think it's a good idea. A-After all, we don't want to make Y/n nervous, now do--" Before I can finish, she cups my cheek and let her lips meet mine on a soft kiss. My eyes widen and I blush furiously. I wanted to tell her so much I like her, and now she kisses me? Could it have something to do with whatever happened last night? Damn it! Why did I drink so much sake to the point I can't remember what happened?! Still, I close my eyes as I kiss her back, my hand intertwining with hers. When we pull back, she looks to the side bashfully. "... Merry Christmas, Leo..."
I smile lovingly at her before grabbing her chin gently and kissing her again. Best Christmas ever.
