"West City,8:00 A.M"
Bardock sat down inside at his kitchen table as Gine sets down plates of eggs,bacon, grits, sausage and pancakes along with two cups of coffee before taking a seat.
Gine: Bardock? What's wrong with you? You haven't been acting this way since we lost Goku years ago.
Bardock: Nothing's wrong. I'm fine.
Bardock looks around as he finds a special news report on TV.
"Breaking news! A series of grizzly terrorists attacks spring across the areas of North and South City! The leader of the GT Military, Frieza who was originally thought to have been killed is now being held accountable for these attacks along with several other unidentified criminals."
Bardock: No!
Bardock stands to his feet as he had went up stairs.
Gine: Bardock?
Bardock comes back down stairs in the new dark blue SWAT uniform as he grabs his belongings.
Bardock: I'll be back soon hopefully!
Bardock heads outside before hopping inside of his Tahoe in the driveway as he pulled his communicator.
Bardock: This is bad news! Everyone needs to hear about this!
Bardock starts the vehicle up before driving off down the street at high speeds, nearly hitting an elderly man crossing the road.
"Diablo Mountains,9:00 A.M"
Blackfire walked outside of the house as she found Gigan,Titano, Titina and Kiryu standing out on the balcony.
Blackfire: What's going on?
Gigan: Earlier Bardock sent out a message saying that Frieza has returned and that he's come back with some friends as well.
Titano: What's in it for us? It's their fight! Not ours anymore!
Titano ascends into the sky before flying off.
Titina: You'll have to excuse him. He's been in the dumps lately just like the rest of us.
Kiryu: Well we can't just let Frieza roam around free and destroy stuff! We've got to do something to help atleast!
Blackfire: What can we do Kiryu? We don't have anyone to lead us! How are we going to be able to function as a team if there's no one to bark orders at us?
Titina: She's right Kiryu! If we go then we're only to get in Bardock's way.
Gigan: *Sigh* There's no hope for us now!
"There's always hope!"
Everyone turns around as 4 year old Xavier walked outside of the house.
Gigan: On second thought there's always hope!
Blackfire: What do you mean by that exactly?
Gigan walks over to Blackfire before whispering in her ear.
Blackfire: Are you sure?
Gigan: Yes!
Blackfire and Gigan look at Xavier.
Xavier: What?
Gigan: Come with us Xavier!
Blackfire grabs Xavier by the hand as she ascends into the sky.
Titina: What about us?
Gigan: Stay on guard.
Gigan and Blackfire fly off with Xavier as Titina and Kiryu staid back on the balcony.
"Pinegrove Mountains,10:00 A.M"
Xavier wearing Japanese styled training clothes looked around in confusion as he found himself out in an open field.
Xavier: Where am I?
Gigan descended from the sky as he stood before Xavier.
Gigan: This is where your training begins. It's going to be a rough journey,but you will have to push on or else you will be left behind.
Gigan begins cracking his knuckles.
Xavier: Uhhh?
Gigan: Here's lesson number one.
Xavier: What's that?
Gigan: DODGE!!!
Gigan rushes towards Xavier before punching him in the face, sending him sliding across the ground. Blackfire walks over to Xavier as he raised his hand for help.
Xavier: Mom! Please....
Blackfire: DODGE!!!
Blackfire kicks Xavier, sending him flying off into the sky.
"1 Hour Later"
Xavier screamed in terror as Blackfire began throwing a barrage of punches at him while he was backing towards the edge of a cliff.
Xavier: PLEASE DON'T HURT ME MOMMY!!!
Xavier slips off of the cliff as he grabbed ahold of the edge.
Xavier: MOM! HELP!!!
Blackfire watches as the edge breaks off as Xavier falls dozens of feet down before plunging into the Shenlong River below where he was attacked by a swarm of crabs.
A few minutes later, Xavier was pulled from the water as Gigan threw him a towel.
Gigan: Get yourself dried off! Your third lesson will begin shortly!
Xavier wipes his face off before looking up at Gigan.
Xavier: Why didn't you help me!?
Gigan: It's apart of the lesson. A lesson about how your enemies will treat you in a real battle.
Gigan turns away before walking off.
"2 Hours Later"
Blackfire and Gigan ascend into the sky, leaving Xavier behind on the ground as he began jumping while waving his arms in order to fly.
Gigan: Flying takes both time and patience to completely master. Take your time.
Xavier falls to the ground as he began breathing heavily in exhaustion.
Blackfire: Come on Xavier! You can do it! Mommy believes in you!
Xavier: But I can't do it!
Blackfire: Yes you can! Don't quit on me now! Keep on pushing!
Gigan: One word of advice would be to give yourself a running start first and then jump.
Xavier regains his breath as he takes several steps back before taking off at full speed.
Gigan: Now Xavier!
Xavier leaps into the air before he had ascended into the sky.
Blackfire: Alright! Way to go son!
Xavier begins laughing as he was soaring above the ground.
Xavier: Woohoo! I'm just like an airplane!
Suddenly Xavier had fell from the sky and crashed through a few trees before crashing headfirst into a boulder.
Blackfire: Well sorta like an airplane!
Blackfire descends from the sky as she goes to check on her son.
"3 Hours Later"
Xavier and Blackfire stood before one another as Gigan stood on the sidelines.
Gigan: The final training exercise for today is where everything that you've learned so far will be put to the test.
Blackfire and Xavier had got into fighting stances.
Gigan: Let the match begin!
Blackfire rushes towards Xavier before throwing a barrage of punches at him as he slowly began dodging. Xavier throws a punch only to be grabbed by the arm before being thrown several feet away.
Blackfire: Dodge!
Blackfire aimed her hand before fired a barrage of energy blasts at Xavier who had took off running while yelling loudly. One energy blast had exploded, sending Xavier flying backwards before sliding across the ground.
Gigan: Remember what you were taught Xavier! Put it to good use!
Xavier stood back to his feet.
Blackfire: What's wrong? Gonna run on home and go cry to your mommy like a little ole baby? Huh?
Xavier growls in anger as his eyes began glowing red before he fired two Eye Beams. Blackfire dodged as she turned around, watching as a large boulder was blown to pieces.
Xavier launches through the air and catches Blackfire off guard with a kick to the jaw, knocking her to the ground.
Gigan: Congratulations! You've passed the final training exercise.
Xavier: YAY!!!
"8:00 P.M"
Blackfire,Gigan and Xavier sat around the campfire as they watched the sunset over the horizon.
Blackfire: Your dad would've been so proud to see how you've grown over the years. Not just as a child,but as a fighter as well!
Gigan: Indeed.
Xavier laid his head in his mother's lap as he had began falling asleep.
"Xillien Stratofortress"
Inside of the laboratory, Protodroid X-2 began running an experiment on X's corpse as he had began surgically repairing the hole in his chest while he was inside of a Rejuvenation Pod.
Protodroid X-2: Beginning attempt #25 at resuscitation procedure!
Protodroid X-2 mashes a button on the control panel, delivering a powerful electric shock to X's body in an attempt to resuscitate him. The heart monitor beeped as there was only a flatline.
Protodroid X-2 lowered his head before standing from his chair.
Protodroid X-2: I have tried everything possible to bring you back X,but it seems as if it truly is hopeless.
Protodroid X-2 sighs.
Protodroid X-2: I have failed you and everyone else. I am truly sorry X.
Protodroid X-2 shuts the lights off before heading outside of the laboratory.
Unknown to him,a very faint heartbeat was detected on the heart monitor as it slowly started back up.
