"I've seen enough." I whispered as I began to walk away. Midoyia followed me, making the rest follow as well. Momo took out the tracker as we walked, her staying close to my side.
"Are you okay?" She asked softly.
"I'll be better once we find him." I said back, looking at each building closely. "once I know he's okay."
"This is the spot the receiver is showing." She said while pressing her back against the wall. We peered around the corner, looking at a very bland and run down building.
"So this is their hide out..." Kirishima whispered.
"I don't know if this is their hide-out." Momo said while shaking her head. "But from what I can see on the receiver, the villain has not left here for the past few days. Also, just because the villains are here, doesn't mean Bakugo is. We are here with very little to go on. Please think of that objectively." She said while turning to us.
"We don't have anyone who excels at sneaking around like Jiro or Hagakure, with us. If I think it's even the least bit dangerous, I will stop you immediately. Because I am your friend, I will not hesitate to call the police either." Iida said firmly, keeping his voice low.
"Thanks Iida." Midoryia said softly. "What can we do with what we have...?" Midoryia then began to mutter to himself, thinking up a plan. As he did I stared at the building, eager to look inside, just to see him, to know he's okay. Katsuki is strong, he wouldn't go down easily...he wouldn't be persuaded easily...he just had to be okay. As Midoryia got lost in thought, two drunk guys wobbled down the street, approaching up.
"Hey, what're you doin hostess? Come drink with us!" The first man slurred, looking at Momo.
"Stop that, idiot!" The second man said smacking the first up upside the head. He laughed drunkenly, making my eye twitch.
"OI, BACK OFF YOU BASTARD!" I yelled, punching both on top of the head. "Lets get out of here darlin." I slipped back into my Brooklyn accent as I grabbed Momo's wrist and pulled her along. We followed Todoroki until we found a place away from those guys that was still near the building.
"There aren't many people walking by, but there are some." Todoroki mumbled.
"We can't do anything to stand out. What should we do?" Momo asked. I watched Midorya turn around, looking towards the building.
"Let's try going around to the back, no matter how little information we have on this place, it's all we got."
"As long as we stay out of anyone's line of sight, we should be fine." I said, following Midoryia's lead. Once we got over to the building, we began to slide between a narrow opening around the back. I ended up having to take the fake stomach off in order to slip through.
"We can't move until we know it's safe." Midoriya said as we slid through. "No one will see us here, and from that height we should be able to see inside too." We looked up and saw a small bared window.
"Will we able to see anything in this darkness?" Todoroki asked.
"I can make a night vision scope-"
"Wait Momo, I actually brought one with me." Kirishima said stopping Momo. He pulled out a scope and showed us.
"Wow, why?" Midoryia asked surprised.
"When I thought about what we'd have to do, i thought we'd need it."
"But isn't that super expensive? I did research on them when I was thinking about my costume, but if I remember correctly they were around 500 bucks..."
"Who cares how much they cost?" Kirishima said while shaking his head.
"Kirishima, Midoryia, you two look through it." Todoroki said firmly.
"I'll lift you two up." I said while making a cylinder barrier below their feet. Lifting them both up slowly. I took deep breaths, relaxing and focusing on keeping the shape. It was easy, much much easier than before. I couldn't help but smirk at my progress.
"What do you see?" Todoroki asked.
"It's just dirty...I don't really see anything..." After a moment he gasped almost falling back.
"What's wrong? What can you see Kirishima?" We all looked at him as he passed the goggles to Midoryia.
"in the back to the left....Midoryia, look in the back on the left." Kirishima said while shaking. Midoriya took the goggles and looked through them, gasping as he looked.
"No way..." He mumbled.
"What is it?" I asked, desperate to know. "Is he in there?"
"Those are...all...Nomu's." He said, now also shaking.
"Nomu's!?" I whisper yelled. I then heard something from the other side of us, Kirishima looked over and pointed.
"That's..." He started, we looked over as well and I saw a truck being lifted up.
"Oh shit." I squeaked. I quickly created a shield covering us all as Mt. Lady smashed her leg into the building, blowing a large gust of wind, my shield blocking it perfectly.
"w-what happened?" Iida said as the wind stopped. I lowered the Barrier then lifted Momo and Kirishima up.
"Mount Lady and Gang Orca...and even the number four hero Best Jeanist?" Kirishima said surprised.
"Mr. tiger is there too!" Momo added. I lowered them back down, sighing in relief.
"The heroes were already moving way before we were!" Iida said happy. "Now, let us fall back immediately. There is nothing left for us to do now."
"She said All Might was on the case too, Even more of a reason for us to rest easy." Momo nodded. "Now, hurry." She said beginning to lead us out. While walking Midoryia stopped, making me stop as well.
"What's wrong?" I whispered. Before he could say anything else there was another explosion, making me make another barrier around us. "What the hell?" I said panicked. As the second blast passed I heard a faint clapping sound. My stomach dropped as I could feel the negative energy surging through the air. "Something else is here." I whispered. We all then began to try and listen in, hearing a man talking. I shook in fear as we hid behind what ever was left of the wall, listening in horror. He had wiped out everyone with just a single attack. Then I heard it...Katsuki's voice. My heart began to race, my blood boiling as I wanted to run out and grab him. Midoryia grabbed my arm, looking at me with fear in his eyes, telling me not to move, no matter how badly I wanted to. Tears formed in my eyes as I clenched my fists. I listened as other people also began to show up, more villains. We were losing time, the more that show up the worse it would be for us. I began to move again, but this time Iida grabbed Midoryia and Todoroki, making me look at everyone. We were all scared, we wanted to go and save him, but how could we? Without ruining everything.
Tears poured down my cheeks as I wracked my brain, thinking of what we should do. What do we do!? While in the midst of my thoughts, I heard something dropping from the sky. I looked up and saw it was All Might, dropping down at high speeds only to land a blow on the man that took out the rest of the heroes. I blocked my face as wind blew past us, shaking the walls. I peered around the wall, and saw as All Might fought off the man who seemed to have several Quirks. Katsuki was surrounded by Villains and seemed impossible to get to him without fighting.
"If we don't get to him now." I cried. "They'll take him through that portal and we won't know where he'll go!" I turned to Midoryia who looked to be going through a million scenario's in his head. I stared at him, waiting for an answer from him. "Call the cops on me, I don't care!" I said about to run but Midoryia grabbed my arm.
"There is a way!" He said quickly. "A way without fighting, that will let us leave this place, but still save Kacchan."
"Well fucking spit it out!"
"This plan also depends on Kacchan. I don't think my plan will succeed if I do it. That's why, Y/n, Kirishima, you two are the key to raising the success rate."
"Give us more Details, Midoyia." Todoroki said, ready to help in anyway he could. Midoryia then began to explain the plan to us. At the right moment, Todoroki would make the biggest ice ramp he could, allowing Midoriya, Iida, Kirishima, and I to go into the air quickly, I would act as a shield, protecting us from any Villains they attempt to attack us while we're in the air. Kirishima would then call for Katsuki, in hopes Katuki would come to us, allowing us to escape. While the Villains are distracted, Momo and Todoroki will run, allowing them to escape as well.
"That's brilliant." I said, completely on board with Midoryia's plan.
"then lets start." Midoryia said determined. Iida, Midoryia and I grabbed onto Kirishima, Midoryia planting his feet on the wall behind us. "NOW!" Iida and Midoryia pushed through, Kirishima breaking the wall with his hardening, Todoroki then created ice below us. We quickly went up at high speeds, I created a shield around us, covering my face in Kirishima's shirt so I could focus on keeping it as strong as possible. We soon went air born, flying at a speed that I never imagined I would go. I looked behind me, seeing Katsuki looking up at us, Kirishima reached out his hand, looking at Katsuki.
"COME!" he screamed. I watched as Katsuki blasted from the ground, coming up to us. In a matter of seconds he grabbed onto Kirishima's hand, a smirk displayed on his face.
"You stupid or something?" He laughed.
"Katsuki! On my mark-"
"you mean on MY mark!" Katsuki said interrupting Iida.
"This isn't the time to fight!" Kirishima said bringing back the focus as we began to land.
"y/n! Get ready!" Midoryia said as we embraced for impact. I created a barrier helping us slide down onto the ground with ease, Katsuki using his quirk to slow us down. As soon as we landed safely, we began to run, making our way back into the city. I held Katsuki's hand tightly in mine, Determined to make sure he is with me at all times. We soon made it back to the stations, where live footage of the fight was showing. I panted heavily, my body shaking from adrenaline. Midoryia talked on the phone with Todoroki, alerting him that the rescue was a success.
"Listen. You didn't rescue me, okay? You all just happened to be the best escape route." Katsuki said while pouting.
"Great Decision!" Kirishima said while giving him a thumbs up.
"I didn't want to get in All Mights way..." Mumbled from the citizens sounded us, all of us wondering the same thing...will All Might win this? He wasn't looking good, and even though I believe we took the right amount of action, I couldn't get the feeling out of my stomach that something just wasn't right. All Might didn't look himself, he looked weak...beaten up. After taking on another hit, I couldn't help but gasp. This...new form he had taken on was...frail looking.
"Is that...All Might?" I said softly. Katsuki looked just as surprised as everyone else. This small skinny man couldn't possibly be All Might. "A transformation Quirk...?"
"Win..." Katsuki said, squeezing my hand. Everyone around us began to worry, if he would really pull this off.
"He has to...He's...the symbol of peace..." I said while squeezing his hand back.
"If he can't win...then who can?" A man said among the crowd.
"Even if he looks different, All Might is All Might, right?" Another women said.
"All Might you can do it!" The crowd began to get rowdy, filled with mixed emotions. Even Midoryia and Katsuki began to scream for All Might to win. I couldn't help but do the same, cheering him on, cheering on the Number One hero, so save us all. With one final blow, I washed as wind scattered all around, hearing the rumbling from both the screen and near us. Everyone went quiet as the dust settles, the battle field completely barren. My body shook from the sight, swallowing a lump in my throat as I watched. All Might slowly raised his hand, before making it into a fist, victorious. Everyone began to cheer as we saw the number one hero triumph again.
"HE DID IT!!" I screamed, jumping up and down. I hugged Katsuki tightly, feeling him hug me back as he stared at the screen in absolute awe. The crowd cheers, pumping their fists into the air as we were all happy to see the villain go down.
"We have to get moving." Kirishima said squeezing through the crowd. "We gotta tell the Heroes about Bakugo, right?"
"You're right." Iida agreed. We began pushing through the crowd, Me keeping a hold on Katsuki in case any villains decided to hide in the crowd.
"Next..." I heard All Might say. I looked over my shoulder, Katsuki and Midoryia doing the same. "Next, it's your turn." Even after fighting, he still seemed to be ready to take on so much more. I looked over at Midoryia, and saw he was crying. I knew he was emotional and that All Might was his favourite hero, so I simply rubbed his back, supporting him.
"Come on." I said ushering him along. "We haven't finished our mission yet." After pushing through the crowd we took Katsuki to the police, where everyone else waited while we went in. I was asked to wait in the hall while they spoke to Katsuki, while waiting my Dad and Katsuki's parents showed up, happy to see that I was well.
After everything was settled with Katsuki, they released him to go home. We went our separate ways after that, not really wanting to separate but not having a choice. Later that night I laid in bed, waiting for my dads light to go off. After what felt like forever it finally did, making me spring up from my bed. I went over to my window and opened it, sliding down the roof and rolling before running towards Katsuki's house. I was about half way there when I ran into Katsuki himself.
"What are you doing?" I whisper yelled at him.
"Could ask you the same thing." He whisper yelled back, squinting at me. I blushed and pursed my lips.
"I...was going to your house."
"How ironic, I was heading to yours." He smirked.
"lets go to yours." I said while grabbing his hand. "I don't want you pulled away from your family."
"What about your dad?"
"I left him a note, now come on." I said while pulling him along. When we got back to his place we snuck to his room, where he locked the door behind us and practically tackled me onto his bed. He hugged me close, burying his face into my neck as I wrapped my arms around him. We were quiet as we laid there, tears flowing down my cheeks as I ran my fingers through his hair.
"I'm sorry." I whispered. "I couldn't protect you."
"I was fine." He said as he held me. "I was more worried about you...was afraid you'd do something stupid and guess what you did?"
"Saved your ass?" I laughed softly, sniffling. "It was the safest way to do it."
"You're an idiot." He said propping himself up, showing small tears in his eyes. "I would murder everyone if anything happened to you."
"I was ready to, but everyone held me back." I wiped my tears away and brought him close to me, pressing my lips firmly against his. He pulled me close and kissed me back, placing a hand on the side of my cheek as he roughly kissed me. After a moment he pulled away, is red eyes looking into mine.
"You look awful."
"Gee thanks." I said while rolling my eyes. "My mom died, my boyfriend was kidnapped, Almost over loaded my Quirk, then saved my boyfriend all in the span of 2 weeks, I'm sorry I don't look like myself right now."
"I meant you look tired." He said now rolling his eyes. "You need to get some rest."
"I don't know if I'll be able to..."
"Try." He lifted his shirt off then pulled me close to him, my head laying on his bare chest. I looked up at him, his lips pressing against mine for a moment. "Sleep. I'm not going anywhere." I wrapped my arms around his sides and nuzzled his chest.
"I'll make sure of that." I whispered. I closed my eyes, exhaustion now taking over as I slowly drifted off. Katsuki was safe...and I was going to make sure it stayed that way.
