As I slowly strode up the carpet, I could only hear bliss. Yes there were people all around me calling out rude names that were pinned at me. Yes there are people out there who write death threats on my Twitter page every day. But you know what?
Fuck them.
My smile slowly grew as I kept my head high passing high profiled celebrities. The confidence I held was so overwhelming it did make heads turn, but that is who I am.
It took me a bloody long time to concur my fear of being judged, being self conscious and to stop questioning if I was good enough.
But I got there.
All I did was run the thoughts of 'I am good enough' in my head a million-hell! A BILLION times! But I got there.
I respect myself and I don't look at people talking behind my back. They're behind me for a reason.
My smile widens when I see Niall notice me through the crowd. He excuses himself and pushes past people in attempt to get to me.
His arms reach out and envelope me as I am pulled into his warm embrace.
His cologne fills my nostrils and my eyes flutter closed as his soft facial skin buries into my neck. "Hello." He breaths as my palms lay flat against his back.
"Hi." I whispered kissing his temple.
Once I relieved my fears and worries, everything became perfect. Niall and I stumbled across paths and my life really began.
I'm proud of who I am and don't rely on others opinions to make me feel of worth.
"You're so beautiful." Niall pulled his face away and held a gaze as flashes went off around you.
You were beautiful. Because confidence is beauty. Loving yourself is beauty.
And you were completely stunning because you believed it.
