Mika
"Ayan ka nanaman Kiefer eh. You just don't let me talk." Naiirita na ko sa kanya. We've been arguing for half an hour now kanina pa kami sa labas ng bahay namin and he won't let me go. And the fact that we're fighting over something so petty irritates me even more.
"What? I've been trying to get you to speak to me this whole time but you won't tapos ngayon sasabihin mo sakin na I don't let you talk?" Hindi na lang ako nagsalita. Galit siya, I don't want to add up to the madness. I looked out the window and I heard him sighed.
"Tangina!" He said in desperation. We both stayed silent.
Naiinis kasi siya, he found out that I was still following my ex on instagram tapos nakita niya pa that Tristan followed Mama on ig and twitter. I don't get where he's coming, naiintindihan ko that he is frustrated because of their intense training, alam ko pagod siya juggling school and his commitments. Nakikita ko yung exhaustion sa mukha niya everytime he'll pick me up kasi nagtethesis siya tapos pressured pa siya being the captain ball and all. Siguro kahit most probably he's been doing those all his life hindi ka pa rin talaga masasanay totally sa pressure and stress.
"Stop stressing yourself over this." I finally broke the silence. I looked his way, his head on the wheels.
"I can't help it. Naiinis ako that he has the nerve to follow Tita tapos ikaw? Why are still following that jackass?" He said but in a much lower tone. Napabuntong hininga nanaman ako.
"And we're back to where we started." I said in a nonchalant tone.
"Okay." He said and faced me. Naawa ako kasi alam ko pagod siya tapos nagaaway pa kami but it's his fault anyway.
"Unfollow him."
"What?" I am too shocked to hear this from him. Alam ko that he is very territorial but he never ever make me do things out of my free will.
"No."
"You want us to stop fighting Miks so unfollow him or I will!" I looked at him, unbelievable.
"Pwede ba Kiefer! Don't you dare tell me what to do!" I said to his face and went out of the car. I ran my way to our house. Buti na lang the gate is open. I heard him call my name pagkalabas ko but I didn't look back. Nakakairita siya.
Kiefer
Bullshit talaga! This is all my fault. Kung sana hindi mainit ang ulo ko hindi siya magagalit sakin. Kanina ko pa siya tinatawagan but she won't answer.
"Oh Kiefer?"
"Good evening po Tita." Desperate calls for desperate measures.
"Pasensya na po kayo that I called at this hour."
"It's fine Kief, sabi ko na eh nagaway kayo no?"
"Yun nga po. Nasa kwarto po ba siya?"
"Yup, you want me to call her?"
"Wag na po. Hindi din ako kakausapin niyan. Pasensya na po talaga. I just really want to make sure she's fine."
"Alright, palipasin niyo muna baka parehas mainit ulo niyo."
"Oo nga po eh, ah Tita please don't tell her-"
"I won't. Kelan ba kita binuking?" Mejo napangiti ako dun.
"Salamat talaga Tita, good night po."
"Good night din, magpahinga ka na din. May pasok pa kayo tomorrow."
"Opo salamat."
When we ended the call, I dialed her number once more. After 10rings I gave up, she's never going to answer.
"Tangina kasi!" I wanted to pull all hair our because of frustration.
"Paps, relax lang." Thirdy commented.
"Kapag ikaw. Kunyari si Thea, may communication pa with his ex di ka ba magagalit?" I asked him.
"Oh so this is what's up." Nilapag ni Thirdy si Champagne, his puppy.
"Did you nag her?" He asked me, I mum.
"Tsk. You know Mika's tolerance, yang girlfriend mong mainitin ang ulo." We both chuckled weakly.
"Let it pass muna, sleep it off. Lalong magagalit sayo yun if you stay up too late tonight." I nodded.
Mika
"B please answer your phone."
"Baby I'm sorry. 😢"
"I love you. Please hear me out please."
My phone's flooded with his calls and text messages. I chose to not reply and answer him because I am still upset.
"Baby, I know I was irrational. It's just that you can't take it away from me not to be jealous of him. And when I saw his name o your account and Tita's I see red. Why would he still be following Tita? Okay. Okay. I'm sorry babe. I'll stop nagging and I promise, promise I trust you. It's probably myself I don't trust. I love you so much baby. Please stop crying. I can't sleep knowing you're crying because of me. I love you baby."
That's the last message I read from him before I slumbered to sleep because my lids are starting to get heavy from all the crying.
Kiefer
Kanina pa ko pabiling biling sa higaan and still can't find my sleep.
"Tsk." I decided to stand up and went downstairs to grab myself a glass of water.
"Badtrip talaga." I said to myself, quenched my thirst and sat down.
I checked my phone and still no luck. It's already 4 in the morning.
"Up early?" It was my Mom.
"Or... Hindi ka pa natutulog Manong?!" I gave her a weak smile, Mom only needed that to know something's not right.
"Oh. May problema ka?" She sat beside me.
"We had fight."
"That's just normal Kief, all couples fight. Ang mahalaga pagkatapos niyang magusap kayo, maayos niyo yan. Ano bang nangyari?"
"I got... Well. It was partly my fault. Or yeah it was all my fault. Sinundo ko siya sa school we ate out, pero the whole time I was with her I'm so mad."
"Oh?? Why naman?" I stared at my empty glass.
"Because I'm so jealous Mom." I said in a disappointed tone and lowered my head. I felt my Mom's hand on my back, comforting me.
"Did she ever gave you a reason to feel that?" I shook my head.
Mom and I stayed quiet.
"Mom... I don't want to suffocate Mika but.. I just have to admit that I love her damn too much. Parang everyday lalong nadadagdagan yung pagmamahal ko for her and I don't want to be that guy who will love her too much and ends up hurting her as much too." I wanted to cry infront of my Mom. There, I finally admit it. Ang problema sakin is I want to have her all for myself.
Feeling ko palagi siyang mawawala, and I am so damn scared. Yung thought palang di ko na kaya.
"Kiefer, hindi masamang magmahal ng sobra. At human nature natin na kapag may mahal tayo we tend to be possessive and clingy. Nakikita ko sa inyo ni Mika that you both want to stay together. Hindi ko at wala akong karapatan para sukatin or timbangin kung sino sa inyo ang mas nagmamahal pero anak, I'm so proud of you." Mom's words confused me.
"Proud of me?"
"Yeah. Kasi kaya mong iadmit sa sarili mo na mahal mo siya ng sobra, and you don't want to choke her. Kaso you're ending up choking her, hehe." We chuckled.
"Mom naman eh. Di ko sadya."
"Alam mo, I love her. I adore her Kief. The whole family do. May kwento ako sayo. Alam mo ba bago kami nagpakasal ng Dad mo we broke up?" I creased my forehead as I look at my Mom.
"Yeah, kasi akala namin hindi namin kaya. Or kasi bigla na lang namin parehas naramdam na eto na."
"Eh bakit kayo naghiwalay?"
"Walang rason. Basta bago siya nagpoprose sakin, although we love each other so very deeply. We wanted to breathe first. Kasi katulad mo, your dad told me he doesn't want to choke me at baka daw mabigla ako sa mga future plans niya." Now I gave a hearty laugh to that.
"How come we never knew that?"
"Wala lang. Now you do. So Manong, walang kaso sakin but finish your studies first. We trust you both. Tama na yan, bukas sunduin mo si Mika. Dalhin mo dito, magluluto ako, full course. Ibribe natin my future daughter."
Mom always know how to comfort me. Damn!
Kiefer
I woke up feeling down. I checked my phone still no reply from her.
I heaved in exasperation. Time check? 10 in the morning. She's most probably at school now. I dialed her number and still no luck.
I opened her twitter, checked her mentions and feed. I saw Camille posted a video and she was tagged.
I texted Camille.

Good Morning Cams! Is Mika with you?
After 5 minutes she replied.

Morning too Kief, yeah she's with us. Nyareh sainyo? Di ka pa din nirereplyan? She looks unwell tho she won't tell. 😕
When I read her reply I immediately called her, she answered right away.
"Buti na lang wala na prof namin, adik ka."
"I'm so sorry Cams, hindi ako mapakali. Is she sick?"
"Hindi naman daw, pero parang. Kulit eh."
"Tsk. Is she around? Does she know it's me you're talking to?"
"Don't think so. She's zoning out."
"Shit."
"Tsk. Kasi naman kasi." I heard on the background, I think it's Cienne and she's talking to Mika.
"Ye, tara na kaya sa dorm muna? Parang di ka talaga okay."
"Dein, okay ako." When I heard her weak voice, my heart breaks.
"Cams, after that may class pa kayo right?"
"Affirm. Punta ka?"
"Yes. Please don't leave her alone muna. Please."
"Ano ka ba kaming bahala dito."
"Okay. Be there right away."
"Goodluck sa traffic."
"Thanks."
We dropped the call and I rushed myself to the bathroom.
Mika
"Ye?" Camille called me, they thought I am oblivious pero alam ko naman na she's talking to him. I miss his voice.
"Si Kiefer ba yun?" And she nodded. I checked my phone when it vibrated and saw his new message.

Baby let's stop fighting please. 😢😕 I'm so sorry. 💔 I'm going there na. Are you sick?
I didn't reply still kahit gustong gusto ko na. I didn't eat breakfast this morning tapos wala pa kong maayos na tulog kaya mejo masama ang pakiramdam ko. Kanina pa ko kinukulit nung kambal na umuwi muna sa dorm to rest and they'll excuse me na lang sa professor but I don't want to be alone. Ayokong magkaroon ng moment magisa at umiyak nanaman.
"I'll call Vic na. Ang pale mo na!!" Cienne said. Lumabas na kami ng room and on our way to our next class.
"Oa ka. Kaya ko nga!" Sabay silang umiling ni Camille, I giggled very weakly.
"Hello Vic? Nasa dorm ka lang? Punta ka school. Iuwi mo muna to si Yeye jan ang tigas tigas ng ulo. Masama ang pakiramdam eh. Hindi kasi kumain! Oo. Oo! Sige dito kami sa..."
"Ang kulit. Oks lang ako daks!" I interrupt, pero tinaboy lang ako ni Cienne.
"Wag makulit Ye, please?" Cams hushed me.
Ara
I am laying lazily on my bed, texting Bang when Cienne called me. I rushed myself agad papuntang school.
On my way naisip kong tawagan si Kiefer.
"San ka?" He answered on the 3rd ring.
"On my way sa school niyo. Are you with her?"
"Not yet, sa school na ko. Cienne called me, masama daw pakiramdam ni Daks."
"Tsk." I got a feeling he's driving kaya I cut our call short.
"Sige ganito, I'll bring her muna sa dorm dun ka na dumiretso."
"Bawal ako dun." Shit. Oo nga pala.
"Ako na bahala. Ingat idol!"
"Salamat Vic, ikaw na muna bahala ah?"
"Oo naman."
Saktong pagbaba ko ng phone I saw Cienne, Mika and Camille.
"Oy!" I waved at them.
"Buti andito ka na. Kami na bahala sa excuse mo Ye, uwi ka muna. Pakainin mo to Vic please."
"Copy. Tara na daks nagagalit na ang mami." I joke, seeing Mika now in this state. Tinamaan ng malala ang tropa ko.
"Ano? Kaya?" I asked her tumango siya.
"Dala ko kotse ko." Dumiretso kami ng parking at ako na ang nagmaneho. Pagkadating namin sa dorm saktong nakita ko yung text ni Kiefer.

Less than 30mins if the traffic will favor me, I'll be there na. Kasama mo na siya?
I replied and followed Mika. Pagkapasok sa kwarto binagsak ni Mika ang sarili sa kama.
"Daks...." And started weeping.
"Tsk." Umupo ako sa side ng bed niya at sinuklay suklay ang buhok niya. Niyakap at nilagay niya ang unan sa mukha.
If we're on a different situation I'd laugh my ass out. Minsan lang umiyak ang isang to, and this time palahaw ang tawag sa iyak niya. Yung iyak na halatang frustrations lang?
"Di mo pa kasi nireplyan, ayan tuloy naiinis ka."
"Eh bwisit kasi siya! Kung anu-ano pumapasok sa isip niya. I understand him naman Daks eh!" She said in between sobs.
"Nasasakal ka ba?"
"Hindi. Natutuwa ako na nagseselos siya, that means he loves me too. Pero naiinis din ako kasi ang oa niya tapos nagaway pa kami." If your fans would see how this Taft Tower is kapag may tantrums di ko alam kung isipin pa nilang boyish to.
Mika, definitely is the most fragile among all of us, Lady Spikers, kaya noon pa man alagang alaga kami dito. She's like a kid kasi, laging front na she's tough and all when in reality every little things bothers her.
"Tapos bwisit siya text pa siya ng text ng I love you! Gusto ko tuloy mag I love you too kaso naiinis ako!" Tantrums na lang talaga to. Yari ka Kiefer pagdating mo.
"Tapos sarap sapakin nung Kiefer na yun! Ang pangit niya!" Hindi ko na napigilan, napatawa ako.
"Wag mo na kong tawanan!! Nakakainis ka din!" She covered herself with a pillow once more.
"Sorry daks." I said, pigil na pigil na wag kumawala ang tinatago kong tawa.
And the room is once filled again with her loud sobs. Ganito talaga si Mika kapag frustrated lahat ng bagay kinakainisan niya at iniiyakan.
Too much for being tough.
In a swift, I heard my phone ringing.
"Hey?"
"I'm here outside na idol."
"Ah. Okay sige wait."
"Si Mika ba yan?" Kiefer asked. Tinignan ko si Mika yakap pa din yung unan niya.
"Yeah."
"Tsk."
"Goodluck sayo. Labas ako wait." I dropped the call.
"Ye, may kunin ako sa labas. Wait lang ah."
"Sige, tapos pengeng food ah." She said, napailing na lang ako. Hirap kapag bh ang daks ko.
Nagmadali akong lumabas ng dorm at bumaba. Nakita ko kotse niya sa labas, magkatabi pa kotse nila eh.
"Boss!" I called the guard's attention.
"Oh? Idol bakit?"
"Kasi boss favor matindi."
"Ano yan idol?"
"Si Kiefer anjan, surprise kasi kay Mika. Monthsary okay lang ba? Mabilis lang promise."
"Naku." Napakamot ng ulo si Manong Guard, lalo akong nagpacute.
"Idol promise mabilis lang. Bigyan kita ng shirt para sa anak mo?"
"Ay! Talaga? Naku idol kayo nun eh! Sige pati kay Mika pwede?" Lumaki ngiti ko.
"Gusto mo pati ni Kiefer? Walang problema jan."
"Sige Idol ah! Asahan ko yan! Bilisan niyo lang baka mahuli tayo nung land lady."
"Yown! Thanks boss!" Sumaludo ako kay Manong Guard at tumakbo sa kotse ni Kiefer. Binaba niya yung window.
"May cap ka jan? Saka shades tapos bilisan mo pumasok dun sa loob ah. Pero wag masyadong halata."
"Sige sige." Tango ni Kiefer, sinuot niya yung swag mr3 cap niya, nye alam na din. Bahala na.
"Saka may extra shirt ka ba?" Nakunot noo niya nung nagtanong ako.
"Eh, binribe ko yung guard. Hehe."
"Ah! Okay okay. Sakto may dala ako." Bumaba na si Kiefer sa kotse dala yung shirt, tapos may mga plastic pa siya. Binigay namin sa guard na sumaludo samin tapos dinala ko na siya sa dorm namin.
"Kung di ko lang labs kayong dalawa eh." Sabi ko agad.
"Thanks talaga Idol!"
"Ready na ba mga pagkain mo?" Tumawa siya at inabutan ako ng isang plastic, when I checked chips and chocolates.
"Marunong. Osige dito lang ako sa labas. Sigaw ka lang if you need reinforcement."
"Salamat talaga." He rushed inside our room, mejo humina na yung palahaw ni Mika.
Kiefer
I knocked first then turned the knob, pagpasok ko rinig na rinig ko yung iyak niya.
"Bae.." I sat beside her bed. She stopped crying and slowly removed the pillow on her face.
"What are you doing here? Paano ka nakapasok?" Her face so red and swollen from crying so hard. Aww my baby.
"Baby tama na iyak please. I'm sorry na." I touched her cheeks. Tumayo siya and umupo.
"Ano yan?" Nguso niya sa plastic na dala ko na nakalapag sa bed niya.
"Peace offering?" I gave it to her.
"Bribing me after making me away last night?" I pinched her nose, such a cutie. Conyo problems talaga to si Bebe ko eh.
"I love you." She then opened a bar of chocolates and ate. I kissed her on the tip of her nose.
"Hungry?" She gave me the look, hinarap niya sakin yung label nung chocolate that says "Grab a Snickers!" I gave a hearty laugh.
"So witty my girlfriend."
Mika
"Wala kang karapatan tumawa, we not good yet." She smugged.
He then gave me his infamous puppy dog eyes.
"Ain't effective." He gave me a combo, eyes and mouth, pouted and puppy dog.
"Feel guilty plith?"
"No." I said with so much conviction, while munching on the chocs he brought me.
I kept on ignoring him, playing angry when in the contrary he was forgiven the moment he gave me chocolates, kidding.
