Ross's POV
"Are you guys ready to go?" Rocky asked as he walked out of the bathroom and I pulled on my denim jacket with the wool collar. "Yeah I guess we're all ready. We should swing be the girls' room to pick them up," Ellington said and I felt my pulse quickening slightly as the thoughts about the beautiful girl swirled around my head.
Abi was the huge star that suddenly topped the Billboard 100 list with her hits. She had singles like Havana, Hands to Myself and Fetish (which was my personal favourite for ... reasons). It literally happened overnight. Now we were touring with her and her best friend Ellie who joined the tour. She was still young - she just turned 20 - but she knew exactly was she's doing and she was very independent. She didn't need a man...
Which is why I'm struggling to get through to her.
"Sure let's go," I said as I grabbed my iPhone and discovered the new message. I couldn't help the small jump my heart made when I saw Abi's name on the screen along with the notification.
Abi:
'Are you guys almost ready? xx'
My corners of my lips twitched at the x's before I typed the reply.
Ross:
'On our way now ;) Be sure to dress warm. It's really cold outside xx'
This wasn't like me. I was never the guy who fell for girls so hard, so quick. But I couldn't help it. Or the way my breath caught at her smile or how I was completely mesmerised when she was onstage getting lost in the music. Honestly I'm scared. Scared of the what I feel for her and how strongly I felt in this short span of time.
We were in New York and today we had a day to relax. Abi's record label made sure to give everyone the best of the best. The Four Seasons hotels we were always staying in was proof of that. Despite the winter air we were going sightseeing and going for dinner, enjoying our day off.
Abi:
'Your concern is adorable and kinda heart melting. Now hurry your ass up because I refuse to get mushy xx'
I grinned at her text before following my knowing brothers out of the room and down the hall. "So how's things going between you and Abi?" Riker asked and I shrugged. "Steady," I answered vaguely before we stopped in front of the girls' door.
Riker knocked on the door and after a couple of seconds the door opened to reveal Ellie. "Let's go!" She yelled loudly into the room causing everyone to laugh before she walked out and greeted us all with a hug.
Rydel was out next and shortly after Abi followed, all of them dressed warmly with coats and scarfs. I couldn't help but admire Abi a short while before she greeted us all.
When she finally gave me a hug I couldn't help but feel content and happy as I held her small body in my arms. I felt relaxed, but at the same time my heart was beating a mile a minute. I felt irritated by the coat restricting me from feeling her petite body and gorgeous curves against my body.
I wanted to explore every single inch of her body and her brain. I wanted to know her like the back of my hand and be wowed by her soul late at night as we laid in bed after making breathtaking love.
My thoughts were getting way too bothered for a 'hello' hug so we pulled away before we started walking to the elevator. I leaned relaxed against the mirrors at the back as the rest piled in and saw Abi standing next to me. I couldn't help my hand from gently resting on her back and she turned to look at me suspiciously.
"You know," I whispered as I slid closer to her and continued rubbing the small of her back. "I'm kinda disappointed that you decided to dress so warm. I'm regretting sending that text now," I said and she furrowed her eyebrows confused.
"Why is that?" Abi asked confused and I chuckled. "Because now I don't have an excuse to hold you later tonight," I whispered, making sure only she heard. She looked blankly at me for a couple of seconds before before a smile and a blush started forming on her face causing me to grin.
"Flattery," she mumbled as she looked away causing me to let out a single chuckle. "You love it. Admit it," I said and heard her let out a sigh. "Go away," she mumbled flushed and I chuckled.
I made no attempt to hide my attracting towards her and she knew how I felt. It wasn't love yet, no, but I would love to see if I could get myself to that point with the beautiful brunette. And I had a strong feeling that wouldn't be so hard. But honestly I don't know why I'm struggling to get her to relax and let me in. I read somewhere that her dad walked out on her at a young age. Plus she never talked about him, just her mom. I just whish she'd give me the chance to show her that I wouldn't walk out on her like that.
"Where do you guys wanna go first? Dinner or sightseeing?" Riker asked and looked at all of us as we walked out into the cold air. I noticed Abi shivering lightly causing me to smirk teasingly at her. "Don't even start," she said dismissively and I grinned widely.

Abi's POV
"Cold enough yet?" I heard his soft whisper in my ear causing my heart to jump.
Okay here's the truth. I'm crushing on Ross. Like hard. Since the day my manager introduced me to R5 I knew trouble was too come with the blonde haired boy with the hazel eyes and amazing smile. Hell I had a crush on the Disney star long before I even met him. Nobody knew though, except Ellie. I don't know what Ross was playing at with his whole game, but I'm not some gullible girl who'll give myself to him for one night.
"What are you up to?" I asked suspiciously as we walked through central park and he looked down at me. "You know exactly what I'm up to. Are you really gonna force me to say it out loud?" Ross asked and I blushed. "Yeah. Because I'm going to need to hear it," I whispered and his arm slipped around my back.
"Why are you scared of this? Why won't you let me in?" Ross whispered as we walked behind everyone and I swallowed. "I can't talk about it. It's not that I don't trust you there's just too many people," I said and heard him hum softly. "That's okay. Just don't shut me out," he requested softly and I nodded. "Alright," I said and he kissed my head.
I felt my breath catch in my throat and he smiled against my head. "Relax," he soothed as the small diner came into view.
There was an unspoken agreement between me and Ross. Tonight we're happy and closer than ever, but I knew once morning came around and after the last show tomorrow everything would change. We would part ways and he'd continue normally with his life. Find a beautiful Californian girl and I'd be trying to pick of the pieces of my broken heart. I don't want another man to have that kind of power over me. Not again.
"What are you thinking about?" Ross asked and I sighed. "About the power I just gave you,"

"So what's going on between you and Ross?" Ellie asked my as she, Rydel and I laid on the bed and I sighed. "I don't know. I think I should just ignore everything and let it go," I shrugged and they both frowned at me. "But why? You guys are like my OTP," Rydel mocked the fans on Instagram and I laughed at her.
"But seriously...this isn't going to work. After tomorrow Ross will go back to his life and the thousands of girls chasing after him," I said softly and Rydel frowned deeper.
"Honey, no. Ross is head over heals for you. He can't keep his eyes off you. I'm surprised you haven't noticed anything," Rydel smiled softly and I looked at both of them.
"Really? Or are you guys just saying that?" I asked and Ellie spoke up. "No we aren't. His eyes can't stay off of you, Abi. It's so obvious he's whipped," Ellie sad and Rydel quickly nodded. "Why are you so afraid of opening up to him? He's a good guy. He wouldn't hurt you," Rydel said seriously and I sighed.
"It's not that I don't want to let him in, I do. I just don't want someone else to walk out on me," I whispered as my heart clenched and I felt both of them grabbing my hands. "Ross would never walk out on you, Abi. I know you're scared, but you have to let him in. You'd know if I had doubts about him. I really think you should let him in," Ellie said sincerely and I sighed.
"Yeah I know. He's an amazing guy, but I'm just scared. I need to sleep on this," I said and they both nodded. "Alright. But keep an open mind about him. I would've told you if he was bad news," Rydel said and I smiled at her. "I'm so sad the tour's ending tomorrow. We should continue hanging out after this since we're moving to LA," I said and Rydel nodded excitedly.

"Goodnight New York!" I yelled to the screaming fans before running offstage and we all cheered. I just finished the last show of the tour and although I felt alive and happy I couldn't help but feel slightly.
"I can't believe this is already- ROSS WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" I yelled out as he suddenly slung me over his shoulders and carried me away. I heard the Lynch boys cheering before Ross carried me into an abandoned narrow hallway. He carefully put me down and trapped me between him and the wall.
"What are you doing?" I asked shakily and he gently rubbed his nose against mine. "Stop fighting this, please," Ross begged and I took in a deep breath. "What if you hurt me?" I asked and his eyes softened.
"I promise you on everything that I am that I would never hurt you. I'll do anything in my power to protect you. I don't know who hurt you. Maybe it was your dad because you struggle to let men in, but I promise you I'm not him. I'll never leave you. Just give me a chance to prove that," Ross whispered desperately.
Before I even knew what I was doing I was slowly nodding and a relieved look spread over his face. "I would normally ask you out on a date first, but I don't want to wast any more time. Be my girlfriend,"
It was more of a demand than a question really. "Are you asking me or telling me?" I asked teasingly and Ross grinned against my lips. "A bit of both really," he said and brushed his lips against mine. I felt sparks traveling through my veins and my breath sped up.
"Well when you put it like that," I grinned teasingly and he mirrored my expression before placing his demanding, slightly chapped lips against mine.
