Hi guys! Before the chapter I would like to say that I'm really sorry that I wasn't updating for three month but I honestly just didn't feel like writing than school started and I'm in my last year in high school so basically I'm a mess...

The brunet stood up still smiling than approached the giant who was still standing awkwardly in the door way.
'I thought you would come a bit later but it doesn't matter now. How's your mom?' asked the smaller secretly wondering why does the taller looks so in awe.
'She is a lot better actually and...uhm...you texted so I thought it's important.' answered Chanyeol on a shaky voice.
'Uhmm I just wanted tell you about what happened today but Chan, are you okay?' noticing the giant's eyes widen he quickly added 'I mean...you seem a bit...uhm...lost in your thoughts.'
The taller male laughed nervously and said 'I don't know what you're talking about.' Without looking at the brunet he got his way to the couch but his right arm got grabbed by a light but strong hand forcing him to stop. He looked into Baekhyun's dark brown eyes noticing the slight concern in them.
'Are you sure that everything is okay?' asked the shorter on a serious tone.
Somehow the brunet's behaviour calmed him down so he managed to answer normally.
'I'm alright.' smiled warmly while looking down to the male in front of him who only nodded as a response. The smaller was still holding Chanyeol's arm who instead of freeing himself grabbed Baekhyun's hand with his free one and started pulling him towards the middle of the living room where the brunet was previously sitting. He let go of Baekhyun's hand and sat on the wooden floor leaning against the sofa than the smaller did the same only to his original spot facing with the giant.
He gave Chanyeol a little memoir about what happened in the afternoon and emphasised the part about the routes in the walls and the fact that they have two less people for the mission. The giant attentively listened to what the brunet said while forming some questions in his head.
'So probably Jongin's uncle is behind everything, right?'
'Yep'
'But where is Jongin's dad?'
'We don't know and Jongin and Kyungsoo can't investigate either because of their situation.'
'Hmm...I'm maybe just overthinking but something seems weird to me...'
'Well, don't worry Yoda you're not alone with that...'
'YAH! Who told that you can call me Yoda?!' changed the subject while throwing a pen which was lying on the floor next to him at the brunet.
'YAH! Who told that you can through things at me?!' copied Chanyeol's indignant tone the smaller.
The brunet seemed legitimate angry so the giant didn't say a world back only sat their giggling which raised Baekhyun's rage even more.
'PARK CHANYEOL I ASKED YOU SOMETHING!'
'Why are you so angry all of a sudden?!' asked Chanyeol trying to sound hurt but still giggling.
The rage lowered in the smaller boy's eyes and his face turned into a light shade of pink. He prevented himself this time from snapping back at the giant instead only said confidently.
'I'm not.'
The giant kept giggling for a few minutes while the brunet started to organise the papers around them without a word.
The silence stayed but it wasn't that awkward this time. Baekhyun kept himself busy with his diary and Chanyeol were lost in his thoughts peaking at the brunet from time to time until resting his gaze only on him.
Baekhyun noticed the staring but he was too suborn to look up and wanted to wait out till the giant looks away. Although it didn't happen so he forced himself to make eye contact with other male.
It seemed like they both really want to say something but the words didn't come and eventually the brunet broke the staring contest trying to focus on the words written in front of him. However he didn't succeeded since the giant refused to look away.
'Chanyeol...what's wrong?'
'Nothing.'
'Are you sure?'
'Yeah, I'm just...thinking.'
'Uhum, but why are you...?'
'Hmm?'
'Why are you staring at me?' the brunet had to try really hard to keep his voice from squeaking.
'Because I'm thinking about you.'
Baekhyun didn't know how to react to that so he just nodded and lowered his gaze.
After a few more minutes the brunet successfully concentrated back on working on the details of the mission not even noticing when the taller sneaked closer to him.
'Baek!' said Chanyeol to make the smaller notice him.
Baekhyun jumped a little surprised by the taller who was kneeling in front of him with his face being only inches away from his.
'Gosh Chan! What are you doing?' asked the brunet with a face as red as a tomato.
'Can I ask you something?' asked Chanyeol ignoring the other male's question.
The taller male's eyes seemed serious with a little mischievousness which made Baekhyun hesitant to answer.
'Uhm...sure...'
Chanyeol paused for a few seconds then took a deep breath.
'Will you be my boyfriend?'
The giant's question hit Baekhyun in the face and left him frozen on his spot.
'I..I...' tried to say something but the words didn't come.
Chanyeol tilted his head to the side and looked at the male in front of him questioningly with his big eyes which made him look like the most adorably puppy ever certainly not helping on the brunet's situation.
'Will you or will not?' asked the taller again leaning a bit closer.
Baekhyun leaned back frustrated form the closeness of the giant while trying to find the right words.
'Uhmm...a-are you s-sure we should be t-talking about this right n-now?' asked the brunet to escape from answering.
The smaller male's question made Chanyeol mad so he leaned back to be in a fair distance from him and crossed his arms.
'Geez if you don't want to be with me then say it...' his huffiness left the brunet in shock but it quickly turned into anger after what the giant said next.
'I mean, I kinda always new that I'm the only one who takes what between us seriously...' looked to the side Chanyeol with a hurt expression.
'Excuse me?! You seriously think that I'm only "playing" with you?!'
'Well, I asked you a simple question and you couldn't even give me an answer!'
'THIS WANS'T A SIMPLE QUESTION!' raised his tone the brunet which made Chanyeol look at him again. 'I already told you that my life isn't simple! How do you expect me to answer when you are fully aware of the consequences?!'
'I don't care about the consequences! I told you already that I won't let us just stay a kiss!'
Baekhyun's anger turned into a slide sadness which made him looked down and stare at the wooden floor while saying 'It's not that simple...'.
Chanyeol crawled closer again and cupped the smaller male's face forcing him to look at him.
'I ask you again, do you want to be my boyfriend or not?' asked on the softest voice possible.
'Chan...'
'No excuses!'
The brunet looked into the giant's twinkling eyes and couldn't help himself but to say the truth.
'I...I do...'
Chanyeol showed his biggest grin than quickly packed Baekhyun on the lips and crawled back to his original position like nothing happened.
Baekhyun only shook his head and looked back to his diary trying really hard to not smile like an idiot.

Hello again! If you don't care about my blabbering than skip this. So the thing is what I already said many times that I don't really like this fic anymore. The reason why is pretty simple tho'. I started it a bit more than an year ago and since than my english got a lot better and I changed my view about stuff. I realized that I didn't think this story through and I changed it a lot through its progressing so there some gaps and part where it might not match really well which makes me mad but my only option is to rewrite it and I'm too lazy for that.
The thing I decided to do is to try and finish it than leave it be how it is. Now, I kinda promised it before that I'm gonna finish it quickly than I casually disappeared for three month so for now I'm ganna say that because I have autumn brake right now I will try and update a few chapters but it might not gonna happen idk.
