"Congratulation!" Lizzie yelled running over to hug me, Leo and Derek." I can't believe you did it. That it's actually ten months since you guys got accepted into the IW. I can't believe you're all International Warriors." She continued grinning.
"Of course we made it through" Leo added to our conversation throwing his arm around my shoulder. "So what have mom planned?" He asked but was soon distracted by a girl walking by. I have to admit she was really good looking, it would be typical him if he ended up hooking up with her tonight. But his attention quickly came back to Lizzie when she hit him in the head. "Ow what was that for?" He said rubbing his head. Even though Lizzie was small she could hit really hard.
"You are not going to hook up with any girl tonight, today we are celebrating you guys. You can score any girl you want tomorrow when you celebrate with the rest of your class, but today you stay put." Lizzie said sternly but with a spark in her eye.
"Yeah yeah mom, I will do as you wish." He answered pounding. I couldn't help but grin at their conversation. It was just typical them. I was pulled away from Leo's arm, by two arms snaking around my waist pulling me back against a hard chest.
"Ha you're going home alone tonight, where I'm going home and to bed with this hot girl in my arms." Derek said kissing my neck trying to hide his smirk. He was only doing it to piss Leo off, that he got cock blocked, as Leo would put it, by his sister.
"Be careful what you say lover boy, or you too will go home alone tonight."I said pressing my body against his before pulling away from his embrace grinning, achieving a growl from him. I didn't mean it, but he didn't know that. I just smirked walking away from him without looking back. I knew he was starring after me, so I put a little sway to my hips just to annoy him. I walked over to his mom who was standing not far from us.
"Hey Ms. Maguire." I smiled hugging Derek's mom. She was so sweet and welcomed me in her home and approved of Derek's and mine relationship, even though we weren't mates. Her mate rejected her so we are kind of in the same boat, even though she was pregnant when he rejected her. Even though it felt a little awkward in the beginning to talk about it, now when I was dating her son, it actually helped me talking with her about it.
"How many times do I have to ask you to call me Caroline?" She asked me grinning a little. "Now let me see you." She asked looking me up and down. I had put on a white strapless dress, loose hair and as always my necklace. I have changed a lot in the 20 months I have been here. I had gotten fit, got forms, lost my glasses and I didn't try to hide my body any more. "You look stunning Lea, now where did you get your tattoo can I see it?" She asked letting go of me sitting down on the bench.
"Well I can't really show it to you now, but when we get to the Feldman's home I can show you" I said giving her a little smile sitting down beside her. We had all gotten our IW tattoos yesterday. It's a shield with a wolf on it with two circles around it. Between the two circles there is written different kind of information. In the top it says IW and the date you graduated. In the bottom your initials are in between your partners. It's really rare to shift partners, if you do it's because they are dead. It's normal to bee tree or four on a team, and since Leo, Derek and I have trained together for so long we have become partners. So in mine it says; D.M. L.J.B. L.F. in other words; Derek Maguire, Lea Jardin De Bagatell and Leo Feldman. I used my old name from my parents, it's not uncommon for people to change names so that if they get caught, the one who caught them can't find their families. The shield is very detailed and it's only very few who know how to make them so you can't just copy it. The tattoo proves you're an IW. You can choose yourself where you want it. Some choose to place it where people can see it others choose to hide it. I chose to have it on my right hipbone, kind of on my lower stomach. Derek chose to have his on the left side of his chest and Leo chose to have his on the right side. Derek's says L.J.B D.M L.F and Leo's say L.J.B. L.F. D.M. Lizzie played offended when we showed them to her that she didn't have a place on our bodies until I said that L.F. could stand for Leo Feldman and Lizzie Feldman. Of course that made her day and she has told almost everyone that she is part of our team, in her head she makes our uniforms, even though we don't wear one.
I looked up from my thoughts and saw that Christina and Charles had arrived. "Hey Lea congratulation. I'm so proud of you, you're the first female warrior in a long time from around here." Christina said as she hugged me. "Come on lets get going, I have made all your favourites, I made home made potato pizza for you, and I got Charles to start the BBQ as well." She said linking our arms and started walking. Charles and Caroline followed after us talking and in the end was Derek, pulling Lizzie and Leo along with him, while they where having a heated argument as always. Derek caught my eye and blinked to me. I smiled and sent him a kiss before I turned around to Christina again. "Now tell me about your test." Christina asked as we walked out of the building where we have had all our training. The test was both theory and physical. We had to fight and shoot with different kinds of things and then we also had to answer a lot of questions.
As I told her about my exam I got thinking about our history classes. We had also been taught about the white wolf. Something I paid a lot of attention to. Almost everyone in class had heard a little about white wolves but not much. They informed us, that white wolves are more powerful, stronger and don't have to obey the Alpha if it isn't white and you can only become one if it's in your family blood. They told us how they where hunted and therefore could camouflage their colour and a lot of examples on how white wolves have been used trough time. They told us about the two last known packs ruled by white Alpha families. They where long gone now, they had been attacked 18 years ago, about the same time, no one really knew when it had happened. The only thing we know for sure, is that they were attacked and they all died, some of the members of the packs had managed to run away, but the royal families had died.
They also taught us about black wolves. Black wolves have more power than normal wolves, but not as strong as white wolves, but close. Being a black wolf is not genetic it's something that just happens and no one knows why. Black wolves is highly wanted in packs but not as much as white wolves. I also learned that if a normal white wolf is standing over for a black Alpha the white have to follow order. After that they all talked about wanting to meet a white or black wolf. A lot of the members in the IW are black wolves, but no white wolf what they knew of. Almost all of the guys were talking about how easy it would be to recognize a white wolf. I had a really hard time not laughing at that, if they just new I was one I think they would get a heart attack.
"So. Why don't you guys go along with your dad and then Caroline and I will finish the dinner?" Christina asked as we entered their home. I don't think I have ever been in a home which felt more like home than theirs. When you walked in they had white walls full of family pictures from all kinds of events. And when you come out in the kitchen Christina always has something ready for you to eat or drink and loved to talk.
"Okay guys so I thought that since you just graduated it would be fun to do some shooting, so I have putt a lot of empty painted cans and other stuff in the back yard, what do you say?" Charlie asked grinning it was obvious he was really excited about this.
"Sure why not Charlie it's been a few days since I last won over Leo." I said smirking his way, he hated it when I won, witch I did almost every time especially in shooting.
"You wish. Bring it on old lady" He said taking his jacked of tossing it over a chair taking his gun in his hand. We all three had our own guns, we usually didn't bring them along but we had to today.
"You forgot you're older than me Leo?" I asked taking out my gun as well. I caught Derek's gaze and he rolled his eyes at me handing his gun to Lizzie.
"Well maybe in years, but the way you act and react you're defiantly older then me." He grinned. I just rolled my eyes and let him have this one. Being older meant being smarter and well I didn't want to discus that. Leo positioned himself and shot, hitting the small red spot in the middle of the tree.He smirked to me saying it was my turn to try. I walked up and quickly hit the red spot as well.
We continued this for the next 20 minutes while Derek taught Lizzie how to shoot. Which took him a long time. She was so sweet when she hit the redspot on a can not far from her she hopped up and down and ran around hugging us all yelling that she actually hit the red spot.
"Guys why don't you not just admit that you are equally good?" Charlie suggested when Leo and I didn't get any closer to finish because we both had the same amount of points.
"No way." Leo said as he shot again. But I had to agree with Charlie we had to end this soon the food was almost ready, but I didn't want to loose on purpose, besides he would see right trough me if I tried.
"Okay fine." Charlie said walking over picking five cans up. He tied them on some strings and tied it up in a tree. "Now hit the red spot on all of them while they move and if you both do it's a tie." He said pushing them and walked away.
Leo started. He hit the first time, and the second but the third he missed. He hit the last two but it was only four. I smiled, as it was my turn. I hit all five. I couldn't help it my extra senses from my white wolf just made it easier for me. But I had learned to not use all my strength when I fight with them. I put my gun away and we started walking over to the dinner table. I looked over and Leo looking upset. I couldn't help but laugh and push him so he almost fell. "Come on the last one over there is a looser." I said starting to run; he was quickly beside me running as fast as he could. He was faster than me and had always been so he arrived first to the table.
"Ha I won." Leo said grinning back to his happy self. He was such a kid some times. Derek walked over to me putting his arm around my waist kissing my temple.
'You're so sweet making another game where you knew he would win so he would be happy again' Derek send me through our mind link grinning to me. I just shrugged and walked over to get something to eat, I was starving.
We were at the Feldman's for many hours before we started to head home.Derek and I said goodbye to Leo and Lizzie and walked his mom over to her car.
"You are silly you know that right I can walk by myself." Caroline said as we walked. I knew Derek was worried about his mom and very protective. He had always been, he and she had always been on their own.
"Well it's really only an excuse to be with you for a little while longer Caroline." I said gently trying to cover it up. I caught Dereks eyes and he send me a grateful look.
"Fine but let me drive you home then." She answered and so she did, we where home not far after that in Derek's apartment. He lived alone right outside of campus. It was a small but comfy place. A place I spend most of my nights and a lot of days as well. These past few months with him had been amazing. Even before I found my mate and Jake Rejected me I had never imagined that I would feel like this. Feel loved and love another person back as much as I did. He had woken a part of me I never knew excites.
After we had sex the first time, had we not gone one week, without haven sex minimum twice a week. I felt comfortable with him and let him experiment all he wanted. I had gotten to know him on a whole new level I had never known anyone before. All the small things about him. How protective he was of everyone he loved. How he had always looked after his mom and still did. How he hated it when people talked about his dad when his mom was there, or how he pretended he didn't really care about school but always handed his assignments in on time and always made sure they were perfect. How when we got to a new place with new people, would he always have his arm around me when we entered. Just to show everyone that I was taken. I don't think he thought that much about it, it was just how he was.
"Hey Derek can I borrow your computer to quickly write an email?" I asked walking into his room where his laptop always is.
"Sure. And by the way, thank you for what you said to my mom about walking her to her car. I just hate her walking alone in the dark." He said letting out a sight.
"No problem I know that." I answered opening his laptop. I wanted to write to Maggie and Nate and tell them I had become an IW. I hadn't told them about my training if I didn't pass. But now I had. So I could tell them.
The day after I had slept with Derek for the first time I had received a message from Nate. He had told me about Jake, that they had been at a pack meeting around the time where I was with Derek and suddenly Jake had stood up and ran out of the room. No one knew what happened, not even Emily but I think, or hope, that he maybe had felt the bond break. But I guess he didn't.
After I had wrote and told them shortly about it I closed the computer and went over taking one of Derek's shirts putting it on going over to him in bed cuddling up to him. He turned around and put his arms around me.
"I love you crazy woman you know that right?" Derek asked my giving me a little peck on the lips. My heart melted a little every time he said something like that.
"Yeah I love you too." I said giving him a passionate kiss sliding my tongue into his mouth massaging his with mine. He pulled away and put some of my hair behind my ear brushing my check.
"I can't believe how beautiful you have become. I didn't think it was possible for you to get more beautiful then you where when we started going out but I guess I was wrong." He said kissing me again. He was just so sweet. I kissed him again and he rolled on top of me pressing his body against mine. I tangled my hands in his hair pulling him closer. He traced his tongue along my bottom lip and I opened my mouth allowing him to slip his tongue in. I ran my hands down his back to grip hold of the bottom of his t-shirt. I pulled it off over his head tossing it onto the floor, running my hands down his back pushing them in his back pockets.
He ran his hands down my body cupping my breast trough my top. He kissed me softly again, tracing his tongue along my bottom lip, I opened my mouth and hes lipped his tongue into my mouth massaging mine tenderly and slowly.
He slowly pulled his shirt I was wearing over my head looking me in the eyes. He just made me feel like myself. He kissed down my body not missing a spot on the way. He gently pulled my panties down and positioned himself kissing me tenderly but passionately again. His shaft entered me slowly pleasure going through my body and I couldn't help but moan.
