Something good to look at ;) -->
Dedicated to Kristine because she keeps telling me to write, and because of her, I have already started on chapter 26
Part of me aches at the thought of her being so close yet so untouchable, but her story and mine are different now. It wasn't easy for me to except this simple truth, because there was a time when our stories were the same, but that was years and two lifetimes ago. – Nicholas Sparks
"So, you got her in your bed. She forgave you already?" James asked me as I got home after my lecture at the university.
"Stop that will you? You know she only slept here. And by the way, can you please get lost tonight? Go over to your sister or something. I finally got Lea to agree to come here tonight and let me make dinner to her. So please."
"Wow you're doing a lot better than I thought you would. Sure I'll be out of here. Just make me some food as well and save it, will you?" James asked, smirking to me before he took his things and left.
I had stopped by the grocery store on my way home to buy the things I needed. I wanted to make her salmon with salad as a starter. Then I wanted to make a beef with sauce and hollow potatoes with butter and garlic. And for desert I wanted chocolate cake with ice cream and raspberries. So I had to start now for me to be able to be done with all the things before she got here.
When she finally rang on the door I had just put on a T-shirt after I showered. I looked around to see if I was missing anything and if the kitchen looked okay. When I decided that I couldn't do anything else than what I already had done, I went to open the door. She had black jeans on and a light blue blouse, that clung to her body all the right places. I smiled to her and let her in. "Hey. I got your shirt with me. I haven't had time to wash it. But I didn't know if you needed it or something. I can wash it if you want." She asked me as she took the shirt up her bag.
"No it's fine, you can just give it to me." I said taking the shirt. There was no way I was going to wash this. Her smell was all over it. And when I couldn't have her to sleep beside me, her smell would help me, as creepy as that is.
"Okay good. I really love your shirt. I think I need to buy one myself." Lea said grinning.
"Well you can have this one if you want. It looks better on you than me anyway." I said giving it back to her. I still had the T-shirt she slept in with her smell on it.
"Really? She asked me with big eyes. "Thank you so much." She said when I nodded. She gave me a hug before she walked out into the kitchen.
"Wow. You really did cook. I imagined you would have bought something, put it on plates and just pretended you made it." Lea commented when she saw some pots and stuff in the kitchen. I just rolled my eyes at her and sat down in front of her. I had set the table in the kitchen.
"So. Where is your favourite place to eat?" I asked her, after I served the first dish. Wanting to start at conversation.
"I don't really know. I never really liked eating at restaurants. All those people around you when you eat, you have to be formal and you never really know what you get. Plus it's pretty intense if it's just two who's eating. So if I really had to pick, I would say eating on a boat would be fun, or just at home. What about you?" She asked me taking a bite of her food.
"Well, there's this small place not far from here, Indian food, which I really like." I told her taking some more food into my mouth. For a few minutes none of us said anything, we just sat and ate. "So, are you coming to the autumn ball?" I asked her when we were done with the salmon.
