Vik's POV
I stared at the shelves of books. I loved this small little book store. I came here weekly just to get a new book. Eventually, they just gave me a job because I was so obsessed with the quaint little store.
I was adjusting some books that fell out of place, while also looking for a new book to read. "Excuse me sir?" I turned to see a man speaking to me. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. Never mind the fact that he was definitely not British. "May I help you?" I spoke kindly to the attractive stranger as I reminded myself not to flirt with the customer.
"Well uh- you see-..." he seemed extremely nervous. "I was wondering if you had any recommendations." He smiled shyly at me.
"Well that depends what genre you want to read." I smiled at him, already choosing a few good books. "Something new in fiction?" I smiled. "I think that can be arranged. Here you go" I gave him another employee smile as I handed him a new fiction book I had already read.
"Thank you." He smiled. "I'm Lachlan by the way." I blushed as he went to go pay for the book. "May I see your book for a moment?" I asked him. "Of course you can handsome." He gave me another shy smile that I gladly returned. I grabbed a sticky note and wrote my number and name on it. I put the note in the book and handed it back to him.
"Thank you Vik. I will be using this" he motioned to the note and I blushed. Soon enough he payed for his book and left the store shooting a wink at me before leaving.

I replied back quickly. Unlike most people I was not one to make them wait for my text. I added his number as a contact and my message soon read:

Msg: I think that can be arranged. Do you want me to meet you there? xx
Seconds later I got a reply back.

Msg: I'll pick you up if that's alright? Also just out of curiosity what is my name in your phone? ;) xx
To: Cutie💖
Msg: Pick me up at <insert address here>
And your name is "Cutie💖" what's mine? ;) xx

Msg: Haha. I like it. Your name is "Beautiful😍" I know so original. 😅 xx

Msg: I'll see you on Saturday. And I love the name. So how old are you? I'm 19. xx

Msg: I'm 19 as well.
To: Cutie💖
Msg: Nice. I'll talk to you later okay? 😘 xx

Msg: Alright. See you Saturday beautiful.

I smiled as I left work. For the next two days all I could think about was Saturday.
