SEASON THREE - EPISODE FIVE
"THE AXEMAN'S LETTER"

...Mikaelson Compound...

It's daytime at the beautiful and loud city of New Orleans. Rosalind was currently entering the Compound in hopes to find someone there. After what she saw through Alexis, worry was the top ten most common emotions inside her.

Stepping inside, she takes off her sunglasses and sees the Compound calmer as she never saw before.

"Klaus?" she calls out for him "Elijah?"

No one...

What?

"Just when you need them..." she trailed off whispering.

Just as she was about to walk up the stairs, an unknown woman walks into the Compound and cautiously approached Rosalind.

"Hello!" the woman says.

Rosalind frowned.

"Who the hell are you?" she asks suspiciously.

The woman only approaches her and gives her a envelope, marked with blood.

Great

"Hm..." Rosalind trailed off confused "...what?"

The woman takes a step back and pulls out a knife from her pocket, before stabbing herself in the throat, causing Rosalind to gasp and in a fast movement to bit her wrist and press it into the woman's mouth, healing her.

"Are you insane?" Rosalind asks incredulously, but after seeing the confuse and numb look in her eyes, the blonde realizes she was compelled to do that.

The blonde hybrid groaned and supports the woman in her feet before compelling her.

"Forget what you saw and did. Go to your home and stay there for the rest of the day" Rosalind compels the woman, who turns around and walks out the Compound.

Rosalind sighs and picks up the piece of paper from the floor.

A good way to start the day.

Welcome to New Orleans...

Opening the envelope, she sees a fancy handwritten on it, but she didn't recognize it.

'Roses are red, Lavender is blue...
Stay away from what's mine
before I kill you...'

Hell what?

Rosalind blinked one, twice. She reads it one more time, before seeing the sign at the end of the paper.

'Aurora'

Aurora? Who?

Suddenly, Klaus and Elijah enter the front door of the Compound, where they are discussing recent events.

"So, my first sired wants to kill you. Yours wants to kill me. Makes you regret turning vampires in the first place" Klaus says and Rosalind still stays in deep thought.

"Well, the division of labor seems crystal clear...two of them, two of..." Elijah stop mid-sentence when they both see the beautiful blonde pacing back and forth with the letter in her hands and her white shirt, covered in blood.

Klaus and Elijah frowned in worry and approached her in fast steps.

"My love?" Klaus tries to caught her attention but she apparently was too much worried to hear it.

"Rosie..." Elijah trailed off and takes a step closer her, but again, she kept being distracted.

Klaus placed one hand on her shoulder, to gain her attention, but her reaction was completely out of the plan. At the moment she was and after what happened, the letter and everything, her first reaction was to quickly grab the person's hand and twist it, before throwing a punch to whoever was trying to hurt her.

She prepares herself to fight as she turns around, after hearing a painful groan. When she sees Klaus wiping the blood off of his nose, she covers her mouth shocked.

"Oh my god!" she exclaims in shock "I'm sorry!"

"Well, that was unexpected" Klaus says as his nose heal right away.

Her face of shock, turned into one of fun.

Rosalind starts to giggle as she sees both brothers standing there.

"I'm so sorry!" she exclaims between her giggles.

Elijah smiles in amusement at her but the smile was quickly wiped from his face, when he sees the blood in her shirt.

"What happened, Rosie?" Elijah asks worried.

She looks confused and feels Klaus standing besides her as he examines her shirt.

"What?" she asks confused and her eyes widen when he lifts her shirt "Whoah! Stop right there, sir!"

She takes a step away from him and finally glances at her shirt.

"Oh..." she mutters and looks at both brothers, understanding their worry towards her "It isn't mine. Don't worry"

She smiles nervously and they gave her an 'are you serious' look.

"I came here to see if one of you was here, but then..." she trailed off and waves the letter in the air "...an unknown woman brought this to me. Apparently, she was compelled to deliver this to me and kill herself right after it"

They exchanged glances.

"The blood..." Klaus trailed off.

Rosalind huffs.

"I healed her and compelled her to forget whatever happened" she says and gives them a grin "I'm good at vamping"

Klaus chuckled at her and Elijah smiles softly.

"Anyway, I'm being threatened again" she says as if nothing "Funny right?!"

They glare at her and she looks down.

"Sorry" she mutters "I didn't recognize the handwritten, though"

"What does it says?" Klaus asks.

Rosalind cleared her throat.

"Roses are red, Lavender is blue..." she starts "stay away from what's mine, before I kill you" she reads out loud with a fake smile "charming, isn't it?"

Klaus growled as soon as she finished it while Elijah clenched his jaw.

The Original Hybrid snatched the letter from her hands, furiously. As soon as he reads it and saw the sign underneath it, he froze and shared a look with his older brother.

"What?" Rosalind asks confused.

Elijah takes the letter in his hands, before examining it and sighing unhappy.

Rosalind notices them sharing a look, as if they're having a mental conversation and well...she didn't like it.

"Hey!" she snaps her fingers in front of them "I'm still here"

Klaus and Elijah sighed in frustration.

"She wants us to find her" Klaus growled as he reads the letter again.

How dare someone to even think about threatening Rosalind's life. Whatever prophecy involving her was, it was driving him over the edge and not having her living at the Compound wasn't exactly good for his nerves.

"Hm...who?" Rosalind asks even more confused.

She looks at Klaus for an explanation.

"Aurora" he says with an angry frown.

"And she wants me dead because..." Rosalind trailed off still confused.

"Aurora was Niklaus' first love after we turned" Elijah blurts out and Rosalind's eyes widen.

Klaus glares at him. He didn't exactly want to tell her about whatever story he had with Aurora in the past.

"Oh..." Rosalind mutters with a frown.

She wasn't jealous. I mean, maybe a little, but they weren't together and she hates him.

Right?!

Hm...

"Then, we should find her" Rosalind shrugged whatever weird feeling inside her chest.

As she goes to leave the Compound, she was stopped by a barrier of two very worried and annoyed Originals.

"You will do no such thing!" comes from Elijah.

"Are you bloody delusional?!" Of course, Klaus always a delicate person.

Her blue eyes widened at their outburst, causing her to cross her arms with an annoyed look.

"If she so much wants to throw those empty threats in your home..." she was cut off.

"Our home" Klaus and Elijah corrected her and she rolls her eyes.

"We should find her and end this once for all" she says and thinks for a moment "maybe ripping her heart out will be too fast. We can think about something more poetic in the way"

She claps her hands excitedly and grins at them. Elijah only smiles discretely while Klaus could help but find extremely cute her excitement over chasing after someone.

"For more tempting it sounds, my love" Klaus takes a step towards her "If someone should be on the way to find her, it's me"

Rosalind sighs tiredly.

"Look..." she starts cautiously "...I appreciate all the efforts to keep me safe from whatever prophecy we might or might not have waiting for us, but this bitch made her intentions clear and now it's time for me to do mine" her eyes flashed a bright amber for a second.

They would be lying if they say a very pissed Rosalind wasn't extremely sexy.

But...did she mention about the prophecy about her?

She notices their tension as she mentioned the prophecy and runs her hand through her blonde hair.

"You guys really thought I wouldn't find out?!" she asks rhetorically "please!" she scoffs and points at Elijah "you cannot lie to me, Elijah! And you..." she points at Klaus "...keep looking at me as if I'm going to disappear through the air!"

She bites her lip before continuing.

"It wasn't exactly hard to figure it out" she says quietly "just couldn't wrap my mind on why I was left out of this!"

Both men doesn't say anything.

"It is my life, I have to at least know if I'm dying anytime soon" she threw her arms up in exasperation.

"You will not die!" Klaus and Elijah shouted in unison furiously, causing her to huff and start to pace back and fourth.

At this point, she was kind of used to be near death. Blame her.

But this time, it seems even morbid, after all, everything that involves the Original Family it's even bigger and dangerous.

"I wish I could believe this" she turns back to face them.

Rosalind couldn't quite understand the looks they're giving her. Maybe worried ones, maybe scared...maybe both.

"Look, we are in no position to act separately" she says after a long silence "so I say, we go after this Aurora together and figure it..."

"No!" she was cut off by Klaus raising his voice, which caught her out of guard.

"If we go..." again, she was cut off.

"I SAID NO!" Klaus bellowed with a mix of worry and anger.

Rosalind gulps and takes a step away from them.

"Niklaus!" Elijah scolds him and steps in front of Rosalind, which apparently only fed his rage.

Klaus knows perfectly who Aurora is and if she's threatening Rosalind, then she's a dead woman. No matter what he once felt for her thousand years ago, what she did to him, nothing was compared to send a threat to Rosalind. Nothing.

He also knows that Rosalind wouldn't blink before killing Aurora, but despite knowing she's a hybrid and a very strong one, he still fears for her, deeply. Aurora is an ancient vampire and moved by her vicious jealous, he couldn't even bring himself to imagine what she'd do to Rosalind after finding out the size of his love for the stunning mother of Theodore and Hope.

That kind of love that makes him feel like what keeps him in the earth it's not gravity anymore, but her.

She consumes every thought of his. The last thing passing through his mind before sleeping and the first thing as he wakes up.

He walks towards Rosalind cautiously, as if she's a scared puppy and breathes in, feeling the sweet scent of vanilla and strawberries he misses so much.

"If someone is to find Aurora..." he stops and tries to find her eyes, seeing as they're everywhere but fixed with his own "...it should be me, little wolf"

She finally looks up and see his eyes begging her to not question.

"Why?" she asks quietly, trying to find something, anything that might ease the current pang in her chest.

Though, she couldn't find anything in his face. A perfect poker face.

Thousands of emotions were passing through his eyes, yet she couldn't decipher neither of them.

"Oh..." she mutters after a single thought came into her mind "...after this..."

She swallowed a lump in her throat and walks past him.

"...this long time, you wish to be reunited with her. Of course" she smiles sadly and to save whatever awkward further question, her phone rang and she almost celebrated it out loud.

"What? No! No, no! Of course not! My love..." before he could even touch her, she answered whoever was calling her.

It was Hayley, asking her to come back home, well, practically begging her to come back, seeing as the twins were either crying or walking around uncontrollably.

"I gotta go!" she says after hanging up "whatever you think or feel you should do about Aurora, it's your choice. I'm no one to argue about your choices in your life"

He goes to open his mouth, but she beats him on it, again.

"I will bring Theo and Hope here to spend some time with you" she says and starts to walk towards the door, after smiling a little at Elijah "unless you find yourself too busy searching for old pleasures to spend some time with our babies"

She smirks teasingly and Elijah had to suppress a laugh at his little brother's incredulous expression at Rosalind's declaration.

Rosalind winks at them and answers another call from a desperate Hayley.

"For heaven's sake, Hayley!" They hear her saying as she goes exiting "I'm exactly across the street and they're literally just two toddlers! Get over yourself!"

After she exit the Compound, Elijah turns to find Klaus still glued on the same spot, with an hilarious expression.

The older Original cleared his throat and smirks at his brother's state, before patting his on the back and leaving the room.

What the bloody hell was that?

Klaus was never the one to be out of words, until he met Rosalind.

'Bloody, bloody stubborn hardheaded perfectly stunning woman!' he couldn't help but think.

...De Beaucage No.9 Parfumerie...

Klaus walks slowly through the front door and into the shop, and after a moment, Aurora, having heard him enter, walks out in a short red dress and knee-length boots, smiling widely at him while Klaus scowls.

"I knew you would find me. Hello, my sweet love" she greets seductively and he couldn't help but feel pity for her. Even trying the hardest, she wasn't not even one percent of what Rosalind is and now he's even more aware of it than before.

He had to hold himself not to scrunch his nose in disgust.

~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~

Klaus and Aurora are still standing several feet apart, both staring intensely at the other.

"A thousand years. Can it really have been so long? Looking at you now, it feels like yesterday" she says with a smile.

"If yesterday were the apocalypse" he scowls.

"Are you saying that leaving me felt like the end of the world?" she teases.

"Leaving you alive" he snaps.

Aurora snickers at his joke before changing the subject as Klaus walks toward her.

"I notice Elijah's not with you. Was he reluctant to tag along?" she asks "perhaps, he's too busy entertaining the lovely mother of your children. Rosalind, isn't it?"

Klaus growled at the mention of Rosalind and his mind went back to that threat.

"Did she received my little gift?" Aurora mocked.

"On the contrary, he's been calling me incessantly since I ditched him to find you, raving about some ancient secret and the possibility of using your head as a footstool" he smiles fakely and clenched his fists behind his back.

They both chuckle weakly as they continue to stare at each other with only a table standing between them.

"Well, I'm sure he would rather have his footstool that have me share that little secret"

As they continue their conversation, they circle around the table full of large bottles of perfume.

"Let me guess...in the time between being with me and seeking refuge in the arms of your brother, you slept with mine?" Klaus mocked.

"Oh, your accusations are so banal. The truth is, I've never been with your brother. At least, not in the way that you think" she rolls her eyes.

Klaus, tired of their game, cuts to the point.

"Why are you here, Aurora?" he asks coldly.

"The witches here, they celebrate Fête de Cadeau...Feast of Gifts. It made me remember that very intimate gift we gave each other so long ago" she smiles and he frowns at her.

"So you've had a thousand birthdays since. If I forgot to send a card, it's because I forgot about you. Is that why you're here? To remind me?" he mocked and her smirks fell.

"I am here for the same reason Lucien and Tristan are...to protect my sire. Now, if you'd turned me that night like I'd asked, I would be here to protect you. But, since you didn't, I need to know...Where in the hell is Rebekah?" she asks.

Klaus gulps nervously and looks up at Aurora.

...Rousseau's...

Tristan is wearing a suit and seated at a table, where he's eating breakfast. After a moment, Elijah approaches his table and sets a mason jar with a bloody heart inside of it in front of him. Tristan does not seem to be pleased by the sight of his sire as he slides into the seat across from him.

"Elijah. I didn't realize we had a meeting on the books today" Tristan says.

"We don't. Unfortunately, your assistant refused to accommodate me" the Original answers.

Elijah pushes the jar toward Tristan as he wipes his face with a cloth napkin.

"What would you like to discuss?" Tristan asks.

Tristan, clearly irritated, throws his napkin onto the table.

"Recent events would suggest you've been less than forthcoming about threats facing my family" Elijah says.

"A threat to you is a threat to me" Tristan says confused.

"Naughty little liar" Elijah narrowed his eyes.

"I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about" Tristan says amused.

"Oh, I'm quite certain you do know precisely what I'm talking about, Tristan. I can hear that heart of yours racing away. You see, even as we speak, I suspect Niklaus is with your sister" Elijah says.

Elijah pulls the blood-stained letter Aurora left for Rosalind out of his inner jacket pocket and lays it in front of Tristan on the table.

"I don't have to tell you what Niklaus is capable of doing when it comes to Rosalind" Elijah says and Tristan frowns confused.

"And you think I'm hiding her?" Tristan asks.

"Wherever you go, Aurora follows" Elijah says.

"It's true, on her good days. Years ago, Rory fell into one of her dark periods. It's been a long one, and has yet to lift. I saw she got the care she needed" Tristan says.

"I don't care. Where is she?" Elijah demands.

"Are you that afraid of what my sister might have to say to your brother?" Tristan smirks.

"Your sister has a habit of cultivating misfortune" Elijah says.

"I can't disagree. And, as it happens, I don't know her current whereabouts, but I know she can't be here. I'm the first person she'd come to" Tristan says confidently and Elijah almost scoffed.

Yeah, of course.

Elijah narrows his eyes at Tristan, examining him for any signs that he's lying before standing and walking toward the door, though he turns back briefly for one last parting statement.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that" Elijah says and starts to walk aways, before pausing a bit and looking over his shoulder "if your sister even dare to come for Rosie, there will be not even dust to rot"

With that, he walks away and Tristan half glares at him.

'Must she go towards the most loved and protected woman in this earth?' he thought with himself.

Once Elijah is gone, Tristan picks up the letter Aurora wrote for Rosalind and begins to read it.

...De Beaucage No.9 Parfumerie...

Klaus and Aurora continue their reunion in the parfumerie.

"You came all this way to protect Rebekah? Bit of a wasted trip, really" he says.

Klaus moves around the table and heads for the door.

"Your sire has moved on to greener pastures" he continues.

Aurora, annoyed, shouts after him, and Klaus stops in the doorway.

"My fate is bound to hers! I should be allowed to protect her" she shouts.

Klaus turns to face her.

"You needn't concern yourself with Rebekah. Besides, I doubt she'd make the same mistake twice" he continues annoyed.

"The first mistake being...?" she trailed off.

"Ever trusting you" he completes with a scowl.

~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~

Aurora is in the middle of pricking her index fingertip with a pin while Klaus glares at her unhappily.

"You can always catch an insect with the smell of a flower..." she trailed off.

Aurora drips her blood into a bottle of perfume, before dabbing some of the bloody perfume on her neck and holding it out to Klaus' face.

"But it's the smell of blood that draws a carnivore" she continues trying to seduce him.

Klaus roughly grabs Aurora by the wrist and leans in close to her.

"And what draws a snake?" he snaps.

"Oh, how you loathe me, so certain I've come to do you harm. Yet, as I recall, we did plenty of harm to each other. And, if I'm not mistaken, we both rather liked it, didn't we?" she smirks.

"Yes" Klaus says quietly.

"Look me in the eye and tell me that you haven't thought about what we had every day for the last thousand years" she whispers and steps closer, trying to sound as emotional and sexy as possible, which didn't work.

Honestly, yes, Aurora was someone in his past that create a big mess and in some point, years and years ago, he loved her, in a weird and completely not healthy way, of course, but loved.

But now...every single woman in this earth seems like nothing compared to Rosalind and he knew more than well he is not the only one who sees her the same way.

She's wonderful, but in a way that is completely different from the definition of the word. Not only her presence, her perfect body, sparkling blue eyes that seems to shine even more over the moonlight, her beautiful and soft natural blonde hair, rosy alluring lips...

She's certainly a goddess, stolen from heaven.

Many might think she's no more than an angel face, but she's pure poetry, like a beautiful song in dream during sundown. She's a breath of fresh air, a mirage in the desert, rain to a dry flower, an angel drawn with soft and perfect lines.

Klaus consider himself as the luckiest man in the world for having Rosalind in his life, not as just some friend, but as the mother of his children. Only someone like her would allow him to live the impossible.

And now that they're nowhere in a relationship, Elijah continues furthering his affections for her and now, Lucien, from his own sireline, in a way, is connected to her too, deeply in that case.

He could only hope that her heart still had a space for him. That she didn't forget what she said in those voicemails, that her feelings might once again be equal his, cause the love The Original Hybrid has for Rosalind Avery Gilbert could destroy entire galaxies.

He was hers, from the very beginning, back in the day, in that gym at Mystic Falls, where his heart decided to beat for her and his whole being, to live for her.

Only he knows how much he hopes for the time where she will be his...

"You want to know why I have come? Because after a thousand years of trying to erase your touch, your smell, the taste of your lips...I'm here for you. For this" Aurora continues to whisper and caressed his cheek.

He frowns and for a moment he could almost laugh at her attempts on seduction.

"Tell me, my love" he almost winced at her calling him the way he so lovely calls Rosalind "I'm the object of your most deep desires"

He notices her coming closer to kiss his lips and felt completely disgusted at the thought.

What real love does to a man, even the psychotics with trust problems ones...

He grabs her hand off his cheek and takes a step away from her.

"I would rather die from this bloody prophecy" he whispers with a smirk and her eyes widen.

She really thought it was working whatever game she was playing.

Well...

For a moment, it looks like she can't believe her own ears.

Then, her face turned into a scowl as she understands the reason behind his behavior, well, who...

"Do not tell me you're denying our true love and deep connection because of that poor excuse of a..." an instant after, she found herself in a tight chokehold against the wall while he glares at her with his hybrid face out.

"Watch your mouth!" he snaps furiously in a low threatening tone and releases her before taking a few steps away to calm himself a little so he wouldn't kill her "whatever story we had, it ended thousand years ago!"

She looks clearly desperate at his declaration and rejections.

"The night you left without me, you didn't even bother to look back" she snaps and walks over him.

"You know, you should count yourself lucky. In a thousand years, no one has talked to me that way and lived" he threatened.

"Yes, I was rather cruel, wasn't I? Some might say uncharacteristically so" she continues.

"What are you getting at?" he asks annoyed.

"I was not the architect of our heartbreak. In the moments before you asked me to flee with you, I saw your brother..." she reveals and he frowned.

What?

"I told him I wouldn't betray you, and that true love transcends blood, but he wouldn't listen. He just had one question" Aurora continues.

"And so you told him" Klaus says.

"I couldn't stop the word  flying out of my mouth...words I swore I would never tell to another living soul, about how you killed your mother and blamed your father, and you had to lie to them so that they would flee with you" Aurora continues and his eyes widened.

Aurora finishes up her story for Klaus, who is horrified by the revelation of Elijah's secret.

"When you came to see me not minutes later, begging me to go with you, I could not say yes. I had been compelled otherwise. I believe it was the first time he experienced the ability to compel, and when he understood what he did, he did not come and undo it" she continues.

"So, that's it...? Elijah's secret?" Klaus asks, more to himself.

"Yes. You made him suffer the loss of a mother, and this was his revenge" she finally finishes.

Aurora and Klaus stare at each other for a moment. While she was in tears, Klaus didn't know exactly what to feel.

Betrayed?

Angry?

Both?

Who knows?

He could only look think about Rosalind, to keep himself still sane.

What would she do?

~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~

Klaus looks at Aurora angrily as they continue their discussion.

"You've had a thousand years to tell me of Elijah's betrayal. Why now?" he narrowed his eyes.

"Well, there's never been a prophecy witch spelling all our doom until now" she answers.

"What do you know of her?" he asks.

"I know I killed her" she shrugged.

Aurora walks past him as she continues.

"My brother told me of her prophecy, but I needed to see her for myself. And what did she show me? The clan Mikaelson destroyed, including my sire. And I believed her. But, a dangerous toy in dangerous hands must be removed, so I poisoned her. And now, I'm going to change the future she saw" Aurora simply says.

"By turning me against the only brother I have left?" Klaus growled. His patience, which was very short, was at the edge.

"The prophecy said that you would fall by friend, by foe, and by family. Have you thought of who that family might be? 'Cause it might just be the one closest to you" she smirks teasingly.

Klaus glares at her angrily.

~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~

"I've given you much to think about" Aurora walks toward Klaus and tugs on the lapels of his jacket.

"I'll leave you to work through..." Klaus angrily vamp-speeds toward Aurora and shoves her against the shelf behind her, pinning her there by the arms. However, Aurora remains calm.

"Go to Elijah. Ask him yourself. I suspect you know what you will find..." Aurora runs her hands over Klaus' chest and under his coat. Klaus' eyes widen, and he scoffs in disgust before freeing himself from her touch.

"And, when you do, come find me. See who's really on your side" Aurora vamp-speeds away before Klaus can respond, leaving him angry and confused.

...Mikaelson Compound...

Elijah is in the courtyard, having a drink at the bar. He takes a large gulp of bourbon before he addresses Klaus.

"She told you. How convenient, to voice this ancient grievance in the very moment we need to stand united against our enemies" Elijah says annoyed.

"You speak to me of enemies when the greatest traitor of my life stands before me" Klaus says angrily.

Elijah slides his drink toward the right end of the bar, and as soon as he turns to face Klaus, Klaus vamp-speeds toward him, shoving him into the bar and knocking it and all of the bottles and glasses on top of it over. The glass shatters into fragments, and the wooden bar is smashed into pieces as Klaus quickly stands to his feet and kicks Elijah in the chest as he tries to get up. Once Elijah is upright, Klaus punches him hard in the face, but Elijah recovers quickly and grabs Klaus' shoulders in his hands before headbutting him. Klaus angrily shoves Elijah into one of the balcony's support beams, but Elijah responds by shoving Klaus backward just as hard and punching Klaus in the jaw so hard that he spins and falls to his knees. While Klaus is recovering, Elijah grabs him by the back of the coat and tosses him into the coffee table, which he smashes as he slides across it. Elijah glares at Klaus as he unbuttons his jacket in preparation for more fighting. Klaus stands to his face and scowls at Elijah.

"What you did to Aurora, to me...you set my course!" Klaus shouts.

Elijah points at Klaus for emphasis as he argues his side.

"I protected you! I protected our family. Aurora was the sister of a lunatic, and a powerful lunatic at that! Father was in pursuit. What was I supposed to do, Niklaus? And despite every one of your despicable deeds, I alone have always stood by you" Elijah shouts too.

"And why is that? Guilt" Klaus snaps.

Elijah glares at him angrily for this accusation.

"You knew that your secret betrayal was the cause of everything I became!" Klaus furiously lunges for Elijah and punches him in the face, only for Elijah to immediately swing his right leg and kick Klaus so hard in the chest he's pushed backward. When Klaus vamp-speeds toward him, Elijah holds out his arm, keeping Klaus at arm's length so he can come no closer. However, Klaus simply lets his hybrid face and fangs out and bites Elijah on the forearm, causing Elijah to roar in pain.

"AAGH!" Elijah yells.

Elijah lets go of Klaus, allowing him to punch him in the face with a right cross before kicking him in the chin and vamp-speeding around to hold Elijah in a head-lock, which Elijah slips out of with vampire speed before elbowing Klaus in the face and throwing him across the room and into the far wall.

"All this blame!" Elijah shouts furiously.

Klaus, scowling, stands to his feet in front of the wall that he dented when his body flew into it.

"Will you ever look at yourself? I have carried you for centuries, Niklaus. No more! You want a fight? So be it" Elijah determined with rage in his eyes.

It's been quite a while since the fights between the Mikaelson brothers become really common, so this new found information was just the cherry on top of it. They were already bearing the edges because of Rosalind and the deep love they feel for her, now this new discovery.

This fight was much more deep than they realize.
