Y/n's POV
Hermione and I were sat at the head of her bed cuddling. My back was resting on the headboard while Hermione's back is against my front. I'm wondering what's on her mind, she seems down. She's been reading the same page for the past fifteen minutes, and I'm starting to get worried.
"Babe." I tried calling for her but she seems to be thinking so deep she didn't hear me.
I shook her slightly while calling for her. "Baby. Babe. 'Mione. Hermione. HERMIONE JEAN GRANGER!"
She jumped in surprise and turned her head slightly to face me. "Sorry, what?"
"I've been trying to get your attention, baby. What's on your mind?"
"Nothing." She says quickly and turns back around to hide her face.
"Hermione Jean Granger, you will not be going to Hogsmeade with me if you don't tell me what's wrong." I said sternly which made her sigh and rest her weight on me, closing her eyes.
"It's stupid." She admits, nuzzling her head in the crook of my neck.
"If it's bothering you, no it's not."
"I just- I, my eyes are really bothering me." Her voice muffled between my neck. Her breath making me shiver, in a good way.
"Why?! Do you need glasses?! I told you reading at night when it's dark is bad for you!" I say worriedly while moving one of my hands to cup her face, making her look at me.
"No, no- It's not like that." she opens her eyes giving me the most heart melting look I've ever seen.
"Then what is it?"
"I just think my eyes..... aren't pretty." She says, the last part being whispered.
"Who the fuck told you that!" I yelled angrily. I swear I'm going to fucking kill whoever insults my baby.
"No one! I just think it doesn't look good. I mean, I have brown eyes. It looks like poo, or something ugly." she says sadly closing her eyes once more and hiding in my neck again, gripping me tightly.
"Your eyes are like dirt." I say making her pull away and quickly open her eyes. Looking at me with furrowed brows.
"What?!" she asks, offended.
"Hold on, I mean that as a complement." I say, cupping both her cheeks to make her face me fully.
"How?" she asks with a questioning look.
"Cause dirt's the source of food and life in every single continent. They sparkle like Topaz. The stars could never parallel."
Her confusion slowly faded and a smile tugged on her lips.
"They look so sweet. Like coffee filled with caramel."
"Aww that's pretty sweet." she says, scrunching her nose and giving me her cute smile.
"And like the autumn leaves that fall from all the trees. The color in your eyes aren't as loved as it ought to be." I 'booped' her nose making her pull away and giggle.
"The warmth that's inside them matches the heart inside of me, it's like it's meant to be." I pointed on my chest where my heart is and gave her a small smile. We remained silent for a moment so I decided to break it.
"Please don't think your eyes or any part of you, are ugly. You are beautiful for you and besides, even if you didn't have eyes, which I'm doubting cause you chose me, I still love you. Don't think differently, my love."
Her eyes started to water while she smiled brightly at me. Hugging me tightly, she whispered "Thank you."
