Y/n's POV:

"Bakit kasi kailangan mong maging ganyan ka ganda?"
(Why did you have to be that beautiful?)

I muttered to myself, staring at my cousin's girlfriend in the distance who was walking towards me.

Yes, I'm Ronald Weasley's cousin from the Philippines. We're like, I don't know fourth cousins or something like that. The Weasleys and some of their friends from Hogwarts were staying here for the mean time, to clear their head from everything that happened during the war.

"Kumikinang ang iyong mga mata, pero dahil sakanya at hindi saakin."
(Your eyes are shining, but it's because of him and not me.)

I said, staring into her brown eyes that made my heart melt.

"Uyy, tignan mo si tanga nagpapaka makata, sa taong 'di naman siya nakikita."
(Oh, look at that fool trying to be a poet, for the person who doesn't even see them.)

I huffed at myself while chuckling painfully at my own joke.

"Parang tanga naman kasi eh. Mahuhulog na nga lang, sa may jowa pa!"
(What a fool. Of all people to fall for, I fell for someone taken!)

I silently scolded myself while shaking my head in disbelief towards my feelings.

"Kung naiintindihan mo lang, ang nararamdaman ko-"
(If only you understood, my feelings-)

I was cut off by a sweet angel like voice.

"Magandang Umaga, Y/n!"
(Good morning, Y/n!)

Hermione greeted me in Tagalog, her accent still prominent in her voice.

"It's already noon" I said shrugging mu shoulders smiling like an idiot.

"You know what I meant!" She replied rolling her eyes playfully. There was just comfortable silence between the two of us before she broke it and asked

"So, about that lessons-" I cut her off with a groan.

"Ugh. Hermione, just ask Ronald or Ginny. They know and understand Tagalog." I said placing my hands on my face in annoyance.

She has been asking me for 'Tagalog Lessons' so that she could speak and understand in Tagalog.

"Oh come on, Y/n. Please just teach me a couple of words and I'll be happy!" She said while giving me her signature puppy eyes with a pouty lip.

How could I say no to that? She looked so cute!

"Hay, ang rupok rupok mo naman Y/n!"
(Hay, you're so 'Marupok'  Y/n!)
(Rupok/Marupok- used to describe someone that easily gets giddy and all (in a romantic way))

"What was that?" She asked

"Nothing- I said fine!" I replied abruptly and I think she looked at me suspiciously but let it go.

"Okie then, teach me any word!" She exclaimed excitedly

"Erm- okay. Say 'Ako ay isang malibog na bakla' "
(I am one horny gay)

I said smiling weirdly as I stifled my laughter at the back of my throat.

"Ako ay isang malibog na bakla" She said slowly with a British accent.

I laughed so hard at this while clutching my stomach which had hurt. She made a confused face then it quickly changed into a glare.

"What. Did. You. Just. Make. Me. Say." She asked sternly while she held her glare. This made me stop laughing and swallow in fear.

"N- nothing. Anyways, let's just say a different one yeah? Yeah, I think so." I said hurriedly for her to drop her glare which she did.

"Alright. Just say 'Ang ganda ni Y/n' "
(Y/n is beautiful)

I said slowly, for her to follow each word properly

"Ang ganda ni Y/n" She says easily, which made me smile

"Oh, thank you. Thank you." I said bowing to her like a Royal.

"What does that mean?" She asked clearly confused

"You just said I'm beautiful." I explained with a smirk to my face. She nodded with a smile of her own before saying

"You could've just asked for me to describe you." She said bitting her bottom lip afterwards.

This made my eyes widen and my face confused.

What the heck?!

Did she really just flirt with me?!

"Huh?" That was all I could say, I was still bewildered by her statement.

"Okay next one!" She changed the topic enthusiastically while nudging my side to get me back to reality.

"Wha- oh, of course. I uh- Say 'Mahal kita' "
(I love you)

I said to cursing myself when I realized what I just said.

"Mahal kita" She said precisely on point.

"Mahal din kita"
(I love you too)

I subconsciously blurted out which made my eyes wide and my heart racing.

"Wait- no! I'm sorry! I shouldn't hav-"

"Y/n?"

"Don't tell anyone about this! Oh no, Ron! I'm sorry I need to leave!"

And with that, I left her there. Standing in confusion and curiosity.

Hermione's POV:

What did I just say?!

No- what did she just say?!

I ran inside to find Ronald and ask him. I saw him eating alone on the dining table. I sat beside him and asked

"Hey Ron, you know Tagalog right?"

He looks up from his food and nodded

"Yeah, why?" He says

"Do you know erm- what 'Mahal kita' means?"
