Hermione Granger One Shots and Shorts

New Year

I am currently in Ginny's room, which was overlooking the Weasley's orchard. I was seated on a chair beside the window, peacefully reading my book when the door bursts open and I was greeted with an-

"Y/n! Come join us, it's 5 minutes before the new year!" Fred said as George nodded his head in agreement.

"Alright, I'll be down in a bit." I said as I turned to them with a small smile.

After- a bit.

"Come here, Y/n! We're taking photos!" Ginny yelled out as I approached them with a beaming smile. I walked up to them and we took a few photos. After that, we went outside -just beside the orchard- and made a campfire then sat around it.

The twins were done setting the fireworks up and were now ready to launch them. "Here we go!" George shouted which gained everyone's attention.

We all faced the twins as they lit the fireworks with their wands. Colorful sparks shot across the sky as they danced in the air. Everyone cheered for the successful twins and applauded in awe.

This continued on until there was only 30 seconds left.

I looked around to find the bushy haired girl who'd captured my heart. I smiled as I saw her giggling and laughing with Ginny and Harry.

She turned her head around and stopped when she spotted me. She smiled widely snd gestured for me to come over to where she was.

I walked over to her and stood beside her, smiling and blushing like a mad man. She wrapped her arms around me and brought me in a tight hug.

We pulled away and just stared at each other for a couple of seconds before she broke it. "Thank you." She whispered to me as tears formed in both of our eyes.
