"How come a smart girl like you, loves a dumb person like me?" I asked my girlfriend. I was currently laying my head on her lap while she plays with my hair.
"You are not dumb! And I love you for who you are!" She exclaimed flicking my forehead.
"Who even told you that you were dumb?! I swear I will strangle them!" She continued as her grip on my hair tightened.
"Well, except for Snape. I did. You wouldn't strangle me would yo-" I asked but she cut me off with a-
"Well, you should stop thinking that or else I will strangle you myself! I love you for you!" She stated before kissing my temples.
"What even made you think otherwise?" She asked,
"You see, I only have two and a half brain cells." I started
"Two and a half?" She asked, confused as to what I meant.
"Or just cells. I don't really have a brain." I mumbled silently so that she wouldn't hear me.
"What do you mean, two? That's not possible!" She asked me, now getting curious on what I had to say.
"Well, one of them is stupid. The second one is sad." I said looking away from her.
"Y/n Y/l/n, you are not stupid nor sad!" She yelled as she cupped both of my cheeks and turned my face to look at her.
"Even if you don't admit it, I sometimes am." I said sighing. She huffs and pouts her lips before saying,
"Fine then. What about the half?" She asked again.
"Well, I'm sharing one with Ronald, that's why it's half." I said trying so hard to hide my smile.
"Out of all people to share with, you share it with him? You could've shared it with me! If it even is possible." She says exasperatedly
"If I could, would you let me?" I asked jokingly but she-
"Of course I will!" Agreed.
This time, I couldn't hide my smile anymore. And when she looked down at me an saw my smile she realized that-
"Oh, you are not copying my essay!" She exclaimed pointing a finger at me. Her accent became more prominent.
"You said you would share!" I said
"My brain cell! Not my essay!" She explained
"Well, your essay is from that brain cell of yours! So technically you can share it!" I reasoned pointing my own finger at her
"Please?" I said softly, while giving her my puppy face and cute pout to persuade her.
"Ugh. I hate you." She said with a groan
"I love you too!" I said as I pecked her lips. She blushed at the sudden action and turned her head to look away.
"Ooooo, is 'the' Hermione Granger- dare I say, blushing?" I teased as I wiggled my eyebrows
"Oh shove off and just copy my work!" She said playfully punching my side.
"Thanks, love!"
"Yeah, whatever!"
