Hermione's POV:
"But aren't you going to come back?" Ron asked me.
"I promise I'll be back. I just need to clear my mind off everything that happened through the years. It'll be just a break from all the magic." I explained to my friends. They were reluctant to letting me go but still did.
"I suppose you do need it." Harry said with a sad smile
"We'll miss you Hermione" Ginny said as she side hugged me.
"I'll miss you too guys." I said as we group hugged. We pulled away smiling sadly at each other.
"I'll see you when I do."
And with that, I was off on my own to explore the muggle world for a while. Little did I know, I might not be coming back soon.
5 Years Later
Ronald's POV:
It's been 5 years now since Hermione left the wizarding world. She said she'll be back and it's just a break, but I'm becoming more worried than I am everyday that she's not here.
Okay, call me weird for feeling that but I can't stop thinking about her. And I think I still love her after all these years.
We kinda had a little fling while at Hogwarts and when we broke it off my feelings didn't go away. I just never told her because it might ruin our relationship.
Anyways, I can't just wait here forever, what if she was in trouble? I want to find her, just to catch up with her and hang out like old times.
And not because I still love her.
What?
Nothing.
"Can you please come with me?" I pleaded
"Ron, you know we have work." Harry said
"And how can you be so sure that we'll find her? There's a lot of places she could be in." Ginny added
"It's going to be quick I promise. Just take two or three days off and if we don't find her you can go back home." I said hopeful.
They both looked at each other with knowing looks and turned to face me.
"Fine. But we're doing this just because we haven't heard from her since and not because of you." Ginny said exasperatedly as Harry nodded.
I smiled widely like a toddler who was given candy.
"Alright, I'll see you guys later." I said with a beaming grin while I walked out of the three broomsticks.
Now that they're coming with me, there's one problem left.
Where to find Hermione?

Harry, Ginny, and I apparated just at the outskirts of London.
"So what's your plan of finding her?" Ginny asked me as we walk through the streets while hitting shoulders with other passerby's.
"Well, I've been thinking about it for some time now," I started, they both nod as a sign for me to continue.
"I've been searching for clues and hints of where she can be, but I figured she didn't leave any. So, I've asked some people where they last saw her and they all answered the same location." I said, they both looked at me amused.
What? Am I not allowed to not be dumb for once?
"That's great then right? We'll have something to start with." Harry said, both Ginny and I nod with smiles to our faces.
"What are we waiting for then? Let's go!" Ginny said excitedly.
We, once again, apparated to the location given to me and started asking people if they knew a 'Hermione Granger' that's living around the area. We asked every person that we pass by, and see. But to no avail we didn't find her. We didn't even get a single clue as to where she might be.
"You guys want to rest for a while?" I asked the two. They both nod at my question.
"Yeah, we've been looking for her for hours now. I'm exhausted." Harry said
"Come on guys, let's find somewhere to sit." Ginny said as she led us to a bench that I'm guessing belongs to the park.
We sat down and thought for a plan while resting our tired bodies when we heard kids laughing. We looked behind us where we heard the kids and saw two children playing at the playground by themselves. The three of us looked at each other and smiled at the sound of joyful giggles. But then, Ginny noticed a little detail that might help us with our hunt.
"Wait, guys!" Ginny said while tapping our shoulders rapidly until we face her. She pointed her finger towards the kids and said "Look, those kids' hair looks just like Hermione's when she was a kid!" We immediately whipped our heads to face the kids.
"Oh my Merlin! Ginny that's brilliant!" Harry complements Ginny.
Ugh, ew. That's my sister.
"So? It's Hermione we're looking for here, not children that looks like her." I said
"Ronald are you really that dumb?" Ginny said
"What?"
"That may be her children Ronald!" Harry said rather harshly, he sounded like he said it in an 'obviously or duh' tone
What Harry said broke my heart in a million pieces. I still like her after all these years and I don't expect her to return it, but it those words still sting.
"N- no, that can't be."
"And why is that?"
"How come we weren't invited to her Wedding?" Well that's a dumb question to ask.
"Really Ronald? You can't keep denying things to convince yourself. Look, we know you still like her but you need to move on someday." Ginny said in a calmer tone than before.
I opened my mouth to speak but it seems like my mouth doesn't want to so I closed it saying nothing. She's right, so I'll just have to accept it.
"Well, you're right. But-" I started but was cut off by Ginny
"But what?" She said raising an eyebrow at me
"But, they have jet-black hair. Hermione has brown hair." I stated in a 'matter-of-fact' tone
"That's because th-" Harry was cut off by a voice.
"Come on kids, it's getting late!"
All of us turned around again, my eyes widened as I saw her.
Hermione!
But she was with someone. Someone unfamiliar.
Their arm was around Hermione's shoulder while Hermione's was around her waist.
Wait- are they, PREGNANT!
I stood up from my seat and rushed to where they were. I didn't think one bit about what I was doing. I pulled out my wand from my pocket and pointed it to the lady Hermione was with.
Hermione saw it and pulled the lady back and stood in front of her as she pointed her wand towards me. My eyes widened at her action.
"Hermione?!" Ginny and Harry said while running towards where we're at.
Y/n's POV:
An exasperated looking guy with red hair pointed his wand at me. I was going to take my wand out to protect myself but my wife pulled me back to stand behind her and pulled her wand out and pointed it towards him.
"Hermione?!" someone in the background called.
Hermione lowered her wand which made me confused.
'The guy just freaking pointed his wand at me, then she just lowers hers down?!'
"Harry? Ginny?" Hermione asked, wait- their names sounds familiar.
"Hermione!" They all said in unison as they tackled my wife in a group hug.
Without me.
It has been a few minutes now and they were still in the hug and here I was getting all uncomfortable.
"Uhm- 'Mione, baby I'm still here?" I said as I opened my arms in like a 'you can hug me too' manner.
She was the first to pull out of their hug and stood beside me, then the three strangers just stood there looking at me warily. Since my arms were still up to my sides she put herself under my arm so that I was wrapping it around her shoulder.I smiled at her and looked back to the people in front of us.
"Baby?" The guy with the red hair said. But more like asked.
"So. . . are you going to introduce me or should I do it myself?" I asked breaking the silence, I pulled her closer to my side as I did.
"Oh- right, Harry, Ginny, and Ronald. And this, is Y/n Granger." Hermione introduced as she pointed to whoever the person was.
"Y/n Granger?!" All of them said in unison
"Yeah, Y/n Granger." Hermione said in an 'obviously' tone.
"Wait- you didn't tell us you had a sister." The Ronald guy said in a hurt voice as the other two behind him nods in agreement.
Hermione and I look at each other for a second while grinning then laughed. The three looked at us like we were mad as we laughed quite loudly. I noticed them and cleared my throat so that she would notice too.
"I'm sorry, can you please repeat that. I didn't get it." I said as our laughter died down.
"Hermione never told us she had a sister." Harry was it?said. I snort at what he just
"It's because she doesn't have one." I said proudly.
This should be fun.
"Wait- then who are you?" Ginny said. Hmm, I guess the other guy and her are related. They looked similar and had the same shade of ginger hair.
"I could ask you the same thing." I said rather cockily. Hermione nudged my side slightly but still being careful not hitting my stomach as I looked at her and shrugged.
"We're here Best-friends." The Ron guy said almost immediately.
"Well it's nice to meet Hermione's friends. I'm her wife by the way." I said as I extended my hand for them to shake. They froze to their spots, mouth wide agape and eyes wide.
I grabbed the redheads hand and placed it on mine then shook it for him while he was shookt.
Lol, shookt get it cause he's-. Nevermind.
"Babe didn't you tell your friends your sexuality while at school?" I asked Hermione as I dropped Ron's hand.
"I didn't know it then." She shrugged as I nodded.
"I'm sorry, do you guys want some tea?" I said.

*At the Granger-Y/l/n Household
"Kids, meet your uncles and aunt." I told my two kids Celia and Bailey.
"This is Celia May and Bailey Jana." Hermione introduced for them.
(A/n: I was going to make one of them have Jean as a second name but it just wouldn't fit. And if I did it to Bailey- I might start to dance like MJ)
"And this little guy right here, is going to be named Jarred Levi." I said as I looked at my stomach rubbing it gently.
The children greeted the adults politely, just like how we taught them. Then I sent them upstairs so that we could talk alone. Without interruptions.
"So, friends at school huh? Where'd you guys first meet?" I asked first to start a conversation.
"Well, Harry and I met at the platform 9 and 3/-" Ron said but was cut off by his own groan of pain because of his sister's elbow.
"Don't worry guys. She knows about magic." Hermione reassured the group. They all nodded in understanding.
"Wait, so is she a muggle?" Harry asked.
"I'm a witch too." I replied as I pulled out my wand from my pocket to prove them that I was what I said I was.
"That's nice. But how come I never saw you at Hogwarts?" Ginny asked me curiously
"It's because she went to Ilvermorny."
Hermione answered for me. I nodded at what she said and smiled to the group who was still tense in front of me. So I decided to give them some space, for now. There was a brief moment of silence before I decided to break it.
"Umm- I think I'll give you guys some time to talk while I start dinner." I said as I stood from my seat and walked to the kitchen before anyone could protest but not before kissing Hermione on the head. Hermione did kinda start a new life in the muggle world and forgot her wizard friends.
They have a lot of catching up to do.
