Today was my first day at the police force.
I walked into Toph's office and sat down.
"You, Y/n l/n?" Toph asks.
"Yeah." I respond.
Toph let out a chuckle.
"What's so funny?" I ask.
"Oh, nothing, only except that you're short as hell." She bursts out laughing. "How old are you again? 12."
I sat back embarrassed.
A couple minutes passed by and she was still laughing. "You think you can catch up with these big fellas?"
I wasn't taking this crap anymore. I kicked her metal desk down, denting it, and then throwing it off the fifty feet building.
I grabbed Toph by the collar. "Listen here, Chief, I might be small but I'm mighty, small things come in big packages."
I let go of her collar and began to storm out the door.
"Wait," Toph says, getting up. "I'm sorry, okay."
I looked up at her. Okay, I never noticed I was this small, Toph looked like a giant compared to me.
I began to stutter. "Uh, it's fine."
"You know what Y/l?"
"What?" I ask.
"You got the job."
"I got the job," I repeated. "Thank you."
"No problem, now get your tiny ass to work."
"Yes, ma'am," I saluted.
