"You're the cold my body's been craving." - I. Toledo

Chapter Nine
-

"REMIND ME TO never hitch a ride with you again!" The bleached blonde haired boy screamed his head off while he gripped my sides for his life.

I laughed hysterically, revving Zion's engine even more, successfully going over 120 kph.

The wind constantly hit the clear shield of my pink helmet, making me smile at the feeling.

I sighed to myself in satisfaction.

I haven't felt this free since I entered the reality show.

"I can feel the rush of adrenaline!" I screamed my head off, drowning out Jack Avery's whines.

Yes, I was stuck with little Miss Whiny-pants over here.

Earlier, we wanted to draw lots of who got to get to ride with who, however, instead of being fair and square, Avery over here wanted to ride with me because "I trust Lotte more than Zach 'cause she's a girl and she won't speed or get us hurt."

I grimaced.

Wonder how that turned out for him.

"I don't care about your adrenaline rush!" Jack screamed, clutching onto my sides for dear life. "I dont want to die yet!"

"Can you slow down?!" He begged, and I felt him hug me even harder.

I looked at where we were and saw that we were meters away from our destination anyway.

I sighed to myself, okay, fun's over.

I started to slow down, slowly coming to a stop when we reached the place.

"We're here." I turned the ignition off hopped off the vehicle, and removed my helmet, letting my blonde hair fall into my shoulders messily.

I saw Jack do the same thing and shake his head, dusting his head off after removing the yellow helmet.

"Jeepers nuts, thought I was gonna die today." He looked at me with a pale face.

I laughed, patting his back. "I got you. You'll never die on my watch."

"You think they're already inside?" I asked, locking my helmet and putting it inside the motorbike's utility box along with Jack's.

"Nah." Jack shrugged. "Zach probably drives like a snail compared to you."

I laughed, knowing the underlying message in his tone. "Come on, I'm not that bad."

"I beg to differ." He playfully scoffed. "You drove over 120."

I grinned at him, "And that's on the left side of the road. Imagine what I'd do on the right."

He looked at me, horrified, "Oh God."

"Relax, you'll be fine." I laughed, playfully punching his shoulder.

I looked around the place and saw that it was packed with human beings I didn't wish to socialize with.

But with my companions being worldwide famous, I think that's going to be such a hard task to do.

"You wanna go inside?" I heard Jack ask from my left, making me turn towards him.

"Shouldn't we wait for the others?" I asked.

He shrugged, "They'll just call us when they get here."

I nodded, he does have a point there.

"Alright." I reached out a hand for him to take, which he gladly took. "Let's go!"

And with that, we skipped like little girls on their way to the ice cream parlor.
