WHEN I WOKE UP THE next morning, it felt like everything had just been a dream. But when I saw the familiar purple duvet of my bed and hugged Bob the human-sized stuffed bear, everything had just dawned on me. I was back home. Kai was left back at the mansion since I wasn't allowed to bring a duck on the plane. I'm not sure who's gonna take care of Kai while I'm gone, but Kenneth promised me that he would take care of the duck if no one else volunteered to do so.

Daniel gave me Bob for he said that it wanted me to remember him every time I hugged the bear when I slept. I remember thanking him for it when they took me to the airport yesterday afternoon.

I took a bath and got ready for the day. I'm sure the ugly trio are coming over so we could play basketball in the backyard so I just wore my white Zach is Daddy shirt and a pair of white jersey shorts to match.

My eyes flitted to the familiar silver Acetylcholine bracelet clasped in to wrist and memories of yesterday came rushing back to my head.

"Bye guys!" I waved at the boys and Trina who were there to see me off. However, when I turned to leave, I felt someone spin me around to face them.

My eyes met familiar sea green ones that were millimeters away from me, "L, before you go, I have to say-- ugh, I don't know how to say this." He cut himself off, eyes flitting downward.

"Flight 2036 to Los Angeles, California, now boarding." The intercom resounded, making the both of us look at the plane I was about to enter.

I looked at him with a smile on my face, "Corbyn, it's okay. I forgive you, but I have to go now--"

"L, read this letter." He sighed, handing me a pink envelope with a cookie sticker in front. "Promise me you'll read it when you get back home."

I nodded, taking it from him., "Okay, I will." I gave him a quick kiss on the cheeks and hugged him goodbye. "I'll miss you pretty lady."

The boy smiled, "I'll miss you more, my pretty lady."

However, when I turned around to board the plane, a shimmer of silver met my eye. It was clasped around Corbyn's wrist. An Acetylcholine bracelet like mine.

"Charlotte Elora, breakfast!" I heard my mom call from downstairs, making me rush downstairs.

I said my good mornings to my mum and Jane who were the only ones at the table. Dad was nowhere to be found as he has been in the white house since last week.

I took a plate and put bacon, eggs, rice, crumpets, and some shawarma on my plate. I took a glass of orange juice from the pitcher and dug in my food.

"Have you read the letter yet?" Jane asked, making me look up at her mid-bite into the bacon.

I told her and mom about everything that happened in the competition, including the things that went on behind the camera. My mum was team Daniel because he fought for me, while my sister was team Corbyn since he was her lane. I told them about the letter and they were so ecstatic to make me read it, I, however, refused to do so. Because after finding out about the mystery bracelet guy's identity, I was a little shaken up.

"But what if he has some very sweet words to say? You promised him you'd read it." My sister whined, giving me a pout.

"You should read it, Charlotte Elora. Jane has a point." My mom nodded along with what my sister had said.

I nodded through a mouthful of eggs and bacon. "Okay, after breakfast."

Just as I said those words, I heard a group of boys barge in our house's front door.

"Our hollywood star is back!" I heard Damon squeal in delight as he, Kyle, and Federigo sat on the dining table with my family.

"Nice to see you, Mrs. Ryans, Jane." Kyle smiled, and the others greeted mum and Jane too.
