A couple of years ago I had this dream that I was kicked off the bus as I was out of state on my way back home. Very shortly after, this lady in a car agreed to take me as I was on the way. Getting in the car I found this person attractive. That was the end of the dream. lol.
Ever since that dream, I wanted to write a romantic road trip story about hitchhikers. Sadly, I couldn't figure out how to write it. More inspiration was needed.
After reading the book 'Rated' and feeling a little disappointed by it, I realized I was the most disappointed by the way the author handled the jock and the nerd girl. There were 6 POV's in this book. Not everyone got enough attention. It soon dawned on me that I could make a better story about a jock and a nerd girl who has to tutor him. It also dawned on me that this could also work as the road trip story I had been wanting to do. Bam! Inspiration was born!
