Chapter 3 - Part 15 - Execution + Post Execution

We watched Amelia be dragged away by the chain, it still looked painful, and the screen lit up as usual. 

The Grand Performance - Amelia Bones The Ultimate Ringmistress' Execution

Amelia is placed on top of a giant Monokuma style ball, like the ones you see in circus movies. The ball is still and Amelia is able to stand normally, but then Monokuma suddenly releases two elephants.

These elephants run back and forth, knocking the ball and causing Amelia to stumble. But she stays on. Eventually she falls, landing onto a large spike that lay on the ground.

We all stayed in silence as the screen started leaving our sight. Nobody spoke. Nobody wanted to. I couldn't tell if everyone was more surprised by the execution or Amelia's final words but we were shocked nonetheless.

Nathan didn't say anything, he simply headed to the elevator. I sighed. I thought we would all be able to survive together but we've lost seven already. 

That's almost alf...

I left the trial room and headed back to my dorm. It wasn't worth mourning. I felt hopeless. 

- Traitors POV -

I went into the control room. The mastermind was there, as expected. I felt powerless against them. I didn't speak for a while, but then they started the conversation. "What? What's so important that you feel the need to come here after failing me?" 

 "I want to go home..." I mumbled. My calm and composed nature had completely vanished and now I was just a shadow of my previous self. That's what it felt like.

The mastermind gave a small chuckle. "Go home...?" They asked. But they didn't wait for an answer. They turned around a threw a wooden bat at me. It just missed me. After calming from the shock I was their face filled with nothing but rage. "Why would I let you go home after fucking up a third time?! They're alive! And it's all your fault! If you really wanted to escape you'd get off of your ass already and kill someone!" They yelled. 

I stepped back, shocked by the sound of their voice. The mastermind never lost their temper, yet here they were, yelling at me. They turned around and started flicking away at the controls again.

"Leave." 

 And so I did. 

They'll find out sooner or later... Then I'll be free...
