We all headed back to the Mono-Resteraunt. Amelia was the first to speak. She jumped onto the table and said. "Alright people! We're gonna give Issac the best birthday he's ever had, so I want everybody to help in making this the greatest party in the history of partying!" Surprisingly everybody seemed all for Amelia's absurd commands. "Benjamin!" She suddenly yelled pointing at me "You'll be on food with...." She looked around at the others, then pointed at Daniel "Him! You two go into the kitchen now please!" And without hesitation we headed to the kitchen.
The kitchen was big and had lots of equipment in it. We saw cooking aprons and put them on. Daniel started searching through the cupboards for a cook book. There had been a few questions that I had wanted to ask Daniel, so I thought now would be a good time. "Hey, Daniel?" I said as I washed my hands. He didn't look at me, but he replied "Hm?"
"Do you have any idea of what your talent could be?"
He seemed to flinch slightly, but then he calmly replied "Well I have a few ideas... Although I could just as easily have no talent." I finished washing my hand and have him a confused look "But can they really accept people without talents?"
"Probably not, but I just can't remember ever having one." He then pulled a cooking book out of a cupboard and placed it on the table "Well anyways, how about we make something from here." He showed me the book. The cover said "A Guide To The Perfect Meal by Kirumi Tojo (translated by Neil Orlin)"
I nodded and we started cooking. A couple of hours later, we had a lots of food prepared and there was also a large cake that we had put Issac's name on in gummies. Daniel looked at the food and smiled, seemingly with pride. I gave him a playful nudge "Maybe you're the Ultimate Chef? Because this looks amazing!"
He laughed and said "Thanks Benjamin, but don't praise me too much, you helped to!" We shared some laughs and then set out all the food onto trays.
