Benjamin Quillet, the SHSL Bird watcher and his fellow students enter what is know as "The Ultimate Stars Program" only to discover that they have entered a murderous trap.

I looked at Nathan's memorial. It was next to Archer's since they stood next to each other in the trial.
I wonder if those two are together again...
Lukas Jones:
"So... Where do we start?"
Mary Kimly:
"How about the cause of death?"
Simon Brown:
"Do we need to? It's obviously blood loss."
Mary Kimly:
"Well yes but what I mean is... Which wound on Nathan's body was the one that actually killed him?"
Daniel Bow:
"Huh? What do you mean by that?"
Mary Kimly:
"Well, Nathan had a slit neck and a stab mark, so which one killed him? Both of them probably would've been instant, so why bother doing two?"
Benjamin Quillet:
"It seems like it was to throw us off our game, so let's discuss the context of the murder then figure out which cause of death is more suitable."
Isabelle Davis:
"Well, what if he killed himself by slitting his own neck?"
Sarah Blithers:
"H-Huh? You mean a... Suicide?"
Zoe Grey:
"B-But... That doesn't... That doesn't make sense..."
Even in the trial Zoe seemed doozy.
Simon Brown:
"How so?"
Zoe Grey:
"U-Um... Well lots of things... L-Like..."
Daniel Bow:
"How about we discuss it?"
Benjamin Quillet:
"Daniel's right, we need to discuss."

Lukas Jones:
"Nathan was pretty depressed after what happened to Archer, it would make sense..."
Mary Kimly:
"But how could there have been a second wound?"
Simon Brown:
"Perhaps somebody tampered with the crime scene? It's happened before..."
Sarah Blithers:
"Maybe he slit his neck and was able to stab himself in his dying moments?"

"No, I there's one strong piece of evidence that indicates Nathan was killed by someone other than himself."
Sarah Blithers:
"Reeeaaaally?"
Benjamin Quillet:
"Yes, the scratches the wall. It shows that there must have been a struggle between the victim and the killer."
Isabelle Davis:
"Hm, that makes sense. Well, there goes the suicide theory..."
Lukas Jones:
"Well what now? I don't think we have much else to go off of..."
Sarah Blithers:
"Hang on a minute, I think I know who the culprit is."
Simon Brown:
"S-Sarah? What are you-?"
Sarah Blithers:
"Shut up Simon, it's my turn to speak. Anyways, there's a specific item at the crime scene which tells us who the killer is. Benjamin, do you know what it is?"

Simon Brown:
"Hang on a minute, this is all just speculation! You have no real proof that Zoe-"
Zoe Grey:

It was the loudest Zoe's voice had been all day. It took everyone, especially Simon, off guard.
Zoe Grey:
"S-She's right... I killed Nathan!"

"W-Wait... What?!"
