KINGDOM OF ARCHESIA
BORDER TO PRYRA

Eight Cardonian soldiers in woodland camo reached the Archesian border patrol post using two G-Wagon's. Powerful winds are blowing through the forest pass along with torrential rains. It was a very chilly weather. Their vehicles have a hard time reaching their destination because of the muddy path.

Armed with Steyr Aug A3's, this black bullpups are the signature weapon of the close in security of the Royal Guards. To be specific these are the soldiers of the Royal Vanguards, in charge of close in security for the Cardonian Royalties, nobilities, representatives and other key figures.

They are planning to get a rough idea where in this part of the continent the runaway couple were. Once they have a rough idea then, the drones could easily scan the whole mountains in search of the two although that still depends on the weather as most of tge high and medium altitude drones are deployed on the North.

A small search squad of the revered Cardonian Mountain Rangers, a division directly incorporated into the Cardonian Special Operations Command were already hot on the trail of the runaway Princess, however the increment weather has stalled the search as their tracks were conveniently erased by the heavy rainfall. And based on their tracks they were heading towards this border post.

"Goddammit, instead of seeing actions on the field we are here in a wild goose chase." ranted one of the Vanguards whilst caressing his moustache, this is Corporal Grayle.

"I've heard that those maintenance guys from the army even see active combat." replied Sergeant Henryl as he sprinted to seek the shelter of the Archesian guard post.

"You have signed up for this soldiers! Any further words would get you into court marshall!" angrily replied their team leader, this is 1st Lt. Lundman.

All of the squad members were then able to enter the small Archesian outpost. Twenty three Archesian soldiers then greeted them as they proceeded inside.

"Horrible weather isn't it?" said what seems to be the man in charge of the small outpost.

Luckily he is able to converse with the Cardonians using the 'old Language'. The Archesian border guards could be clearly seen to be ill-equipped. Only a couple of soldiers wield muskets the rest are with crossbows and swords. Only a handful are also wearing iron armor and chainmails.

After exchanging greetings and names, the Vanguards quickly got to the point and asked for the transcripts of those who have passed through the outposts.

For some of the border guards, they were astonished as how far these Cardonians have reached. For some this is their first time meeting the renowned 'traitors'. Both parties are generally curious of each other.

Using a small booklet containing rough translations of Cardonian to Archesian language, the soldiers then deciphered the large book the Archeisan border guards were keeping.

As his soldier translated the record book, 1st Lundman invited the Archesian outpost commander towards his office, wherein he then discloses the gravity of the situation and of course handing a small chest containing 'gifts' like cigar and a few jewelries.

Surprised, the outpost commander tried to recall the events. When the storm came, only a handful of merchants have risked their life in crossing the border. The mountain pass is not that safe for merchants as most of the parts are littered with thugs, bandits and even monsters now with a storm, the threat is much higher.

However the long interview did resulted in a vague clue.

The commander recalled one of the merchant who have passed by a few days ago has two passengers aboard aside from his giant bulk of goods. The descriptions also match, it is a man and woman in their early 20's and are clothed and equipped with different clothing.
