The Cardonian troops besieging the town, withdrew and formed a massive battle line, on top of the hills just next to the town.

A large formation of Imperial forces are on standby, they have arrive early at the morning. 16,000 combined swordsmen, archers, musketmen with at least 4,000 cavalry. They are forming large square formations, and are ready to battle. This is not including the also large Imperial force inside the town of Gralve.
It is the main brunt of Imperial forces in the island. A large elite force that Archesia would need double the men to be able to defend such a large force.
The Empire of Scolus are known for their ability to harness monsters to their army, ogres, orcs, lizardmen and goblins. Their large build and supposedly thick bodies, made them invincible against musket fire. Thus they are the primary infantry swordsmen of the Empire.
Their musketmen and archers are also very trained well, with large military funding, everyone can enjoy limitless ammunition for practice. Making them very efficient.
They are at least four kilometers apart. The allied forces are situated om top of the hills, southwest of the town of Gralve. The Imperials are situated on the slightly elevated plains, northwest of the town.
The 2,500 plus men or so of the combined forces of the three countries, are on the top of the hill. Tanks, APC's and pillboxes form the frontlines.

Dividing them are clear fields, that is vey suitable for engagements in the 18th century. But very advantageous for modern weapons.
But unbeknownst to the Imperials, a large Cardonian force are situated, south of them.

The Cardonians have brought in two batteries each of the RM-70 Grad MLRS and M109A5 Self Propelled Guns are waiting in ambush.

TOWN OF GRALVE IMPERIAL GARRISON A
The large garrison or a fort even, overlooks the other half of the whole town, it overlook the whole western side.
Imperial forces on the town have skyrocketed ever since they've spotted the large reinforcement.
"HAHAHA, WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL! LOOM AT THAT DISPLAY OF IMPERIAL MIGHT! AN ARMY THAT WOULD MAKE EVEN AZALEA SHIVER!" the town's mayor rejoiced as he ovserves the large force from the balcony of the garrison.
"I can't believe that General Screntos would personally come! What more is he is with the main army!" the Commander of the town's forces, Dan Nehpro.
