The P-3 Orion ascended to 10 thousand feet and maintained cruising altitude. Within minutes they will be within visual range on the billowing smoke they've spotted.

The decades old plane the came out in the factory in the late 80's is one of the primary Maritime Patrol Aircraft of the Kingdom of Cardonia Air Force. Anti-Submarine Warfare is it's strongest point, and for decades have the defended the seas of the Kingdom. Now the few planes left are being tasked to scout ahead. Because of the unknown radio interference, the High Command decided to used manned planes rather than unmanned ones.

Thus the crew aboard the P-3's are technically the first one's to venture out onto the new world, a mysterious and dangerous one it seems.

All the while they are gathering data on the new terrain. The geography have changed a lot. Their geographic maps of France are basically useless if they are going to use this as their navigation aide. They are flying without GPS, so they only have their Compass and the Sun as navigation aide. Thus they were not allowed at first to fly too far from the border. But a couple hundred kilometers is not really that far for a plane, thus they were given clearance to push through.

A few minutes in, their cameras could already pick up the source of the smoke. To their surprised, a massive town is on fire. From their calculations this town could house between 30,000 to 50,00, and now almost half of it are on fire.

The town can be compared to that of a medieval era European town. But very far from the modern towns and cities of the modern neighbouring France. Thus providing hard evidence that Church's claim is indeed true.

The plane lowers it's altitude. Just enough for their high resolution cameras. The crew watch helplessly as they saw the people on the ground on utter chaos.

People are either trying to evacuate the burning town or trying to fight the raging flames.

"What in the hell?!", one of the camera operators exclaimed as he guides the Forward Looking Infra-Red camera.

"Based on how the town is burning, it is similar to the town of Celeb. Only the outer areas are burnt. To as to entrapped the people on the town.", the Commander aboard the P-3 then replied.

For a solid 30 minutes they flew above the town. Watching in horror as the event's unfold on the ground.

Within that timeframe, the King himself was informed. Together with crew of the P-3, the top members of the government and the military are closely monitoring the situation.

Then to everyone's surprise, an order from the King emerges.

A direct order for thr Air Force to conduct aerial firefighting. He was informed that a modified C-130H used on water bombing mission is on standby nearby. This is following the incident on the town of Celeb.

Many are baffled by the orders of the King. But they can't question it, not only because it came from the King himself but they can't really watch idle as a town continuously burn.

The crew of the said C-130 was quickly given orders, and within minutes are lumbering towards the runway. The plane might use the whole runway because of the sheer weight of the fire retardants on board. They are using a regional airport, the closest one on the border.

Meanwhile, the pilots from the Valencian Air Force Base are also scarmbled. With their Sukhoi's, they are tasked to escort the firefighting plane and secure the airspace around the burning town. Equipped with different short to long range AAM's or Air to air missile, they hurriedly took off and met up with the C-130.

They are flying awfully slow. Thus if the C-130 came in under attack by another beast, it would be defenseless. As such their escorts need to do their best.
