"You....you... You meant to say that our forward force was completely annihilated?" a man dress in red robes startled. This is the Prime Minister of the Empire, Lem Phrang.

"The report goes on like this. 150 ships including the 'Dos Proden' had sunk, another 50 are known to be captured by the enemy. Out of the 40,000 troops on Schielde, only about a hundred was able to return, wyverns are thought to be wiped out."

*Thud*

A man in red robes with gold ornaments pierce his sword on his glass table.

"The Archesians doesn't have the might to take down our glorious army. Who is it that helped them? Who is it?!" furiously said the man. This is Emperor Laude Scolus, a half breed of a human and a demon. He was the reason to unify his continent, thus demons and beast live together with what he calls "high humans". Humans that these beast would not ought to devour but serve.

"Your Greatness, reports when they were attack, points to the Centrals. Burning giant arrows that is capable of destroying our top of the line ships from afar." the soldier continued.

"But later reports identified the attacker's flag as two yellow pillars and a blue star in the middle. Two massive iron ships proceeded to wreck the entire port where our ships are docked. They possess great speed and a continuous rapid fire cannon and the earlier burning giant arrows."

"Impossible, every word you uttered are pure nonsense. Iron ships with great speed and rapid canons? The Centrals do possess iron ships but they are lousy. They are very slow and such as their cannons. Utter nonsense!!!" the Emperor uttered angrily, he's in disbelief that two ships managed to wreck his prized fleet.

"That was all the emergency report Your Greatness, the magic communicator didn't mention anything afterwards." the soldier argued as he starts to startle, afraid of the Emperor.

A week has passed since the Battle of Schielde occured. Cardonia and Archesia have finalised many treaties. One aspect everyone is looking forward is the Economic one. The two countries have finally agreed in the following.
(1) Cardonia will have access to agricultural products, mineral products and services of the locals.
(2) In exchange, Cardonia would provide in building infrastructure and transportation for the said goods, open the Cardonian market for their citizens and vice versa.
(3) Limited technology grant and support. Military and core technologies are exempted as Cardonia has the right to keep it as a secret.
(4) Defense treaty. In accordance to the economic treaty, both countries have responsibility to defend each other in face of hostilities.
(5) Travel and Tourism. Both citizens of the two Kingdoms have free access to go through and or visit any public areas.
(6) A mining right for the 'oil fields' in the Archesian countryside for Cardonian companies in exchange of development of the said region.
And among many other minor agreements.

These ties would further cement the relations of both countries.

"Renown has arrived!" shouts one of the soldiers on watch on one the Archesian coastal fortress.

"That's a massive iron ship and that is the rumored automatic cannons right?" another soldier exclaimed as they carefully examined the R-Class frigate, it is visiting the Archesian Capital for a port visit.

A few Archesian sailors are aboard to guide the ship. The Cardonian crew need to relearn the basic naval navigation as the traditional basic used on Earth has no accuracy on this world and of course the obvious lack of satellites.
