A Story Of A Country That Got Isekai'd

Chapter 29 - The Magical City of Cymuth

It is a sunny morning on the Azalean Capital. The streets are filled with people going by in their every day routine. Different vehicles clogged the small streets of the Capital, as such airhips flying within the city are normal occurence. With the lack of urban planning, the city streets that dates back hundred of years would surely suffer with the current total population.

During breakfast, Azalean officials then discussed their country as a whole. The Kingdom relies on the combined technology of machinations and magic. The population are a mix of elves and humans and of course halfbloods, thus they are one of the countries with high life expectancy. The Royal Family is a descendant of High Humans, a race that almost have the same life expectancy of that of of Elves, though they are rarely seen. Tge government is controlled by their parliament and much of the government bureaucracy are handled by many different ministers that have attained qualifications that their parliament could assign them. The political structure are almost similar to Cardonia with the exception that the Royal Family has still power and the nobilities still has a say.

The Azaleans also prefers to stay neutral and having the strongest military and even economy allows them to do so. They are also picky in partnering with other nations, if they see little value towards a nation, they would probably disregard them, in which the Archesians were probably a victim of.

The combined delegations of Cardonia and Archesia were picked up by an airship from where they are staying, they are headed towards the government institutions of Azalea. Their whole day is already jam packed with the amount of meetings and bilateral talks they would held with their Azalean counterparts.

Meanwhile back at the naval base. The two navies are set to have a cultural and technical presentation. Azalean officials from all of their military branches are expected to attend the detailed tour the Cardonians set up for their ships. In return the Cardonians would also be toured to the different naval systems Azalea have.

A friendly match between the two nation sailors are also going to be held. On the morning, they would play the Azalean version of what seems to be football and in the afternoon, the Cardonians agreed to play basketball and of course at the same time, teach their counterparts. Everyone has a busy day ahead.

CITY OF CYMUTH
GOVERNMENT COMPLEX

During their trip aboard the airship, the Cardonians took the opportunity to document the city of Cymuth, using digital and video cameras and even their own personal phones. The city is a wonder, a work of art for some, it's architecture are literally "out of this world". If regular flights are available here, it would surely draw the attention of the Cardonian tourists.

The airship then landed on what seems a dedicated landing pad inside the government complex. This complex house almost every government ministries the Kingdom of Azalea has. One advantage of it, is that for any delegate or envoys, he or she doesn't need to travel far to meet certain officials.

One of the first stop is with Ministry of Diplomacy. This is where formal talks and paperworks to establish diplomacy between two countries would be held. After a dreadful meeting and singing of documents, a symbolical planting of the visitor's flag would be held on the plaza, in which dozens of other flags and banners are gracefully flying, it can be noticed that the Archesian flag are already planted.

The whole process last for almost half a day. It is after lunch when the flag planting ceremony was held.

The delegation were warmly received by the staff and workers of the government offices that attended the ceremony. Cardonia was further put to the limelight when they've arrived yesterday with the grey sleek ships, before, they are just a favorite gossip between the merchants with their exploits against the Empire, but now they are praised with their ships, Azaleans value art and to them, the R-Class Frigates of the Cardonian Navy, is one such item.
