"Where did you get that dog?" Dad asks.

"It's a stray." Charli says.

I look at the dogs collar and it says his name was Oreo. It made sense since she's black and white.

"It's the neighbor's dog." I say.

"The new one?" Mom asks.

"Yeah. I say.

"But I like him." Charli says.

"C'mon." I say.

Oreo follows me and I go next door.

I knock on the neighbor's door and a girl answers the door. She had y/h/c hair and y/e/c. She was really pretty.

She looks down and smiles.

"Thank you." She says as Oreo runs inside.

"I had to bring them back since my sister tried to keep her." I say.

"That's what happens most of the time." She says.

I giggle and she smiles.

"Y/n." She says.

"Dixie." I say.

"Where's my -" Someone asks coming to the door.

Y/n looks at him and he smirks.

"This idiot is Alex. Idiot, this is the neighbor, Dixie." Y/n says.

"Hello." Alex says.

"She's too young for you." She says.

"I'm not even straight." I say.

"Fuck." He says walking away.

She laughs and I smile.

"I'm gonna go." I say.

She smiles and I walk away. She's really hot.
