There's a knock on the door and I open it to see Charli.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I came to see my girlfriend." Charli says hugging me.

I kiss her and she smiles. We had been together since we were 14 (6 years).

"I am happy that you are here. I'm just a little stressed." I say sitting on my bed.

"I can tell, you have always responded to my texts in a minute." She says stands in front of me.

"I'm sorry, college had just been hard for me lately." I say.

"Everything okay?" She asks.

"I have my finals. My ex-roommate is sort of into me and they have been for the last 2 years." I say.

"What?" She asks.

"I shut it down and moved." I say.

"Tell me this story." She says.

Flashback

"Asshole." I say.

Everyone laughs and Lilly sits on my lap.

"I have a girlfriend." I whisper not wanting to embarrass her.

"Does your girlfriend give you this?" Lily asks trying to put her hand in my pants.

"Stop." I say moving her hand.

"Don't act like everyone in here doesn't know what happened on the second week of our freshman year." She says getting off of me.

"It was a mistake and I've already told my girlfriend." I say getting up.

"Did Charli forgive you? If it was me, I wouldn't. My girlfriend of 6 years had sex with a girl she didn't even know." She says.

She was lying. We didn't do anything more than kiss and it was because I was drunk.

I was stupid and Charli and I had argued, before I left Connecticut. We never argued and I was always the one who had to apologize. I didn't mind it, I knew it was my fault.

I was depressed and suicidal. All she wanted me to be was happy. All I wanted to be was dead.

"Charli is the best girlfriend anyone could ask for. I'm fucking stupid for kissing you and I'm glad that's all I did." I say.

End of flashback

"Did you do it anytime after the first time?" Charli asks.

"No, and I swear to god I won't do it again. I'm sorry I did that to you and I don't deserve you." I say.

"I know, but it was just a kiss." She says.

I smile and she kisses me. I laid down without breaking the kiss and you know what happened next.

Time Skip

"Y/N we gotta go -" Summer says coming.

I look up at her Charli holds onto my arm tighter.

"Sorry, but we're gonna be late for class." She says leaving.

I look at the clock and I get up. I go in the bathroom and come out 10 minutes later.

"Baby." Charli mumbles into the pillow.

"I'm gonna be late for class." I say.

"When are you gonna come back?" She asks.

"About an hour and a half." I say grabbing my backpack.

"Hurry back." She says.

"I'll try." I say.

"I love you." She says

"I love you too." I say.

Time Skip

"I'm back." I say walking into my room.

Charli looks up and see me with a cup of Dunkin. I give the cup to her and she smiles.

"I was hoping we could talk." I say.

"About what?" Charli asks.

"I don't want to stay in Massachusetts anymore." I say

"You want to drop out?" She asks.

"No, but I want to go back to Connecticut. I want to do college back home." I say.

"We can do that, but life back home is sort of boring." She says.

"I'm gonna make it fun like I promised when we first met." I say.

She smiles and I get on one knee.

"You're smart, talented, and beautiful. Charli, will you marry me?" I ask.

"Yes." She says.

I kiss her and put the ring on her finger.

"I want to start a family like we said we would." I say.

"Me too." She says.

I smile and she kisses me.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." She says.

I kiss her and the door opens.

"You're leaving me?" Summer asks.

"You're listening to my conversation with my fiancé?" I ask.

"Sorry, but, you're leaving?" She asks.

"Yes." I say.

"How am I gonna pay the bills?" She asks.

"The house is in my name I'm the one who has to pay the bills." I say.

"Yes." She says leaving.

I roll my eyes and Charli giggles.

"Our kids are gonna be lucky to have you as a parent." Charli says.

"No, they're gonna be lucky to have us as a family." I say.

She smiles and I kiss her neck.

"We can't do this now." She says blushing.

"It's a soundproof room." I say.

"But-" She says.

"No buts, no cuts, no coconuts." I say.

She nods her head and I kiss her neck.
