"There's a video on Instagram that shows you were kissing her." Isabelle says.

"Yeah, I kissed her, but we were playing truth or dare. We don't have feelings for each other." I say.

"That means you would do it again in a heartbeat." She says.

"If you're gonna accuse me of cheating, let me see your phone." I say.

"You aren't gonna change this around and try to make me the bad guy." She says.

"That's because Liam is Jason's dad." I say.

"You paid Jason to have sex with you. That's prostitution and you did it so I wouldn't leave you 3 years ago." I say.

She rolls her eyes and I get up.

"I think this is bullshit." I say.

"You're telling me that I cheated when there is evidence that you cheated?" She asks.

I close the door behind me and she follows me.

"We aren't done." She says.

Liam walks toward and I pick him up.

I put Liam in his car seat and she comes outside.

"Please fuck off." I say turning the car on.

"You can't take him." She says.

"Tell that to judge." I say.

"He's not related to you." She says.

"I don't have a baby daddy who is deadbeat or a criminal record." I say.

I dig under the seat and pull out paper and a pen.

"These are the divorce papers." I say giving the paper and pen to her.

I wasn't planning on leaving her for another girl. She was abusive and she kept hitting me. It got to the point that Liam thought hitting his friends was okay.

She sighs and signs the papers. She takes her ring off and tries to give it to me.

"Keep it." I say.

"Where's mommy?" Liam asks.

"Don't worry about her." I say giving my phone to him.

I put my hands over my eyes and think. How was I gonna make sure I could keep him? How was I gonna make Liam feel safe without his mom?

"Are you okay?" Someone asks.

I look next to me and see a girl with a friendly smile.

"No." I say.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

"I'm not gonna tell a complete stranger my life story." I say with a smile.

"Charli." She says holding her hand out.

"Y/n." I say shaking her hand.

I look over at Liam and he was asleep.

"What's going on?" Charli asks.
