I watched the Titanic with my girlfriend recently and she told me I should write about it. It's different than what happened and I feel that it is modern.

Y/N's View

"I saw you looking at her. She was looking at you, too." Buddy says.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"The girl with the glasses." He says.

"Buddy, I can tell you that she is straight." I say.

"How?" He asks.

I sigh and look at him.

"Charli has a boyfriend, his name Peter." I say.

"How do you know their names?" He asks.

"She's famous on social media, they have been together for the past 3 months." I say.

"Talk to her." He says.

"If I don't?" I ask.

"I'll her the spare key to your room." He says holding the key up.

I roll my eyes and before I can go to her, Dixie comes to me.

"Oop." He says leaving.

"Could you help me?" She asks.

"I would like to your name." I say.

I knew her name, I just wanted to ask.

"Dixie." She says.

"I'm Y/N. What can I help you with, Dixie?" I say.

"My sister is being abused by her boyfriend. He's always with her, could you help me seperate them?" Dixie says.

That broke my heart into millions of tiny pieces.

"Sound dangerous." I say.

"It would mean a lot." She says.

"Alright, where's that asshole?" I ask.

She takes me to her sister and I look at Peter.

"Y/N is your way out." Dixie says.

"She's mine." Peter says.

"You see, a long time ago back when people were respectful, people treated women like property. Now women can do what ever the hell they want whenever they want." I say.

He pushes me, but I'm not a pussy. I punched him in the face and Dixie grabbed Charli by the hand and moved her.

"Aw, why so sad?" I ask leaning on the railing of the boat.

"I will kill you." He says.

"I. Triple. Double. Dog. Dare. You." I say.

He runs to me, but I dodge him and throw him over the railing.

"Would you like a life jacket, Peter Pan?" I ask looking down.

He looks angry, and I throw a life jacket at him.

"Thank you so much, Y/N." Charli says.

"He needs to learn to respect women." I say.

"We're over, Peter." Charli shouts looking down at him.

"PERIODT." Dixie says.

Charli looks at me and I hold my arms out. She smiles and hugs me.

"Where are we gonna sleep?" Charli asks looking at Dixie.

"If you want, you could take the others rooms where I'm staying. I can sleep on the couch." I say.

"We can't let you do that." Charli says.

"It's fine." I say.

"Yeah, sure." Dixie says.

Time Skip

"What are you still doing up?" I ask as Charli sits next to me on the couch.

"I can't sleep." Charli says.

"Do you want the tv? I'm gonna go on a walk." I say.

"No, I'm good. Can I come?" She asks.

"Yeah." I say.

I turn the TV off and she follows me.

"I never imagined I would be on a second version of a boat that sunk." She says.

"Yeah, it's weird. The older you get, the crazier the world gets." I say.

"Yup." She says.

I noticed that she looked cold. I took my jacket off and put it on her.

"Thanks." She says.

I smile and we lean against the railing.

"Was the guy you were talking to your boyfriend?" She asks.

I chuckled and she raises an eyebrow.

"His name is Buddy and no, he is not my boyfriend, husband, or fiancee. He's my older brother/guardian. I'm not into boys, just girls." I say.

"I kind of figured that, but I wanted to ask." She says.

I chuckle and she smiles.

"Before you ask, I don't have a girlfriend, fiancee, or wife." I say.

"Why do you have a ring on?" She asks.

"My best friend moved to a different country. Before she left, she gave me a ring. We had always pretended we were married, so I wear it on my ring finger. Besides, most girls try to get in my pants." I say.

"I'm not like the other girls." She says.

"You're better than them." I say.

"Do you still talk?" She asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"They're lucky to have you." She says.

I smile and she looks into my eyes. We lean in and kiss. It was fucking amazing, but I swear to God, I am the world's unluckiest girl alive. We hear a loud crash that makes us stop.

"What the hell?" Charli asks looking behind me.

I turn around and see that the ship hit an iceberg.

"Holy shit." I say.

A/N: I love cliffhangers. I had fun writing the first part, there will a part 2 later today. I'm not that much of a jerk.
