Charli's View

I didn't want to be here, but Dixie needed me to drive her home. She wasn't even getting drunk, she was fucking around outside. I guess she was worried about the guys.

I liked parties, but there are too many straight people. I feel someone pull me back and someone who was running barely missed me.

"Thanks." I say.

"No problem." The girl says.

"Is Dixie always this insane?" I ask.

"Yeah, at last year's Halloween party she tried to have sex with my best friend." She says.

"Idiot." I say.

She laughs and I smile.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"Y/n." She says.

"Charli." I say.

"Who exactly are you?" Y/n asks.

"Dixie." I say.

"I see it." She says.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I'm pretending to be straight." She says.

I laugh and she smiles.

"Let's leave this shit." I say.

She smiles and nods her head. We leave and go to the music store down the street.

"You play the piano?" I ask as she sits at the piano.

"Yeah, I play every instrument." Y/n says.

"Play Be Happy." I say.

"What?" She asks.

I give my phone to her and she looks at me.

"The other Miss D'Amelio made a song." She says.

I smile and she listens to the song.

"This is good." She says putting her hands on the keys.

I roll my eyes and she plays the song.

"That was good." I say.

She rolls her eyes and sits next to me.

"How did you get here?" I ask.

"My dad put the pickle in the jar." Y/n says.

"Not that dumbass." I say as we laugh.

"I'm from Canada." She says.

"You don't have an accent." I say.

"I'm not Canadian, I'm Irish. My parents were in Canada when I was born." She says laughing.

"Unlike you, I'm Canadian." I say.

"Bitch, where?" She asks.

I laugh and she smiles.

Time Skip

Y/n. What's so great about Y/n? She's nice, smart, honest, she had a 12-year-old daughter, she's been sober her whole life (she's 23), and she's really good at sex. How do I know that? Well...

"Stop staring at me." Y/n says opening her eyes slowly.

I giggle and she smles.

"Don't do me like that." I say.
