Chapter 91 (Journal Entry)

Dear Journal,

These past few days have been really draining. The night I was getting Stefan out of the tomb, Jules actually made good on her threat and came after Damon but bit Rose instead. Werewolf bites were supposedly fatal to vampires and that legend was true. Damon had to kill Rose last night after she almost killed Elena and went crazy from the side effects of the bite. There's no cure for werewolf bites so now we have to be extra careful with these wolves around. Especially Tyler.

Damon is off the rails and beside himself. I caught him last night after Rose and watched him kill an innocent girl in the middle of the road. He was drunk off his ass and then we had a huge fight so he's been avoiding me at all costs. I guess this is his way of mourning so I'm gonna give him his space. He feels so guilty because Jules was after him but honestly, I don't know what I would've done if she did bite him. I can't imagine losing him but killing innocents doesn't solve anything so I'm not gonna talk to him until he pulls himself together.

That's all for now. Gotta get to doing whatever I can to help Elena avoid being sacrificed.
