AURORA'S APARTMENT

"Rory, come on." Daniel whined. He sat on the counter in Aurora's bathroom while she stood in front of the mirror, doing her hair. "You look pretty, let's just go. We're gonna be late."

"My hair just isn't- ugh!" Aurora let out a shout and Daniel looked up from his phone to see large red mark forming on Aurora's wrist and the straightening iron on the floor.

"Oh my god, Aura!" Daniel yelled and Aurora bit her lip. Daniel hopped off the counter before he gently grabbed her wrist and moved it under the facet of the sink. He turned the water on to the coldest setting, allowing the water to fall on to the burn mark.

"I'm sorry, we're definitely gonna be late now." Aurora mumbled and looked down at her hair, part of it still not straightened. "And now half of my hair is wavy while the other half is straightened. I'm sorry-"

"Hey, stop, it's okay," Daniel picked her up and sat her down on the counter. He gestured to the burn mark on her hand. "We just need to make sure that is okay."

Aurora nodded and Daniel grabbed a small tub of aloe vera cream from the cabinet below the sink he. He opened the container and spread some of the cream on to the burnt mark on Aurora's hand. "You know, I hate to admit this, but when I was a kid, and was first learning how use an clothing-iron, I burnt myself a bunch of times."

She giggled slightly as Daniel continued to explain his story. "So, Mum would pull out the aloe vera and just put it on my many burnts."

"Thank you." Aurora whispered and Daniel nodded. He smirked at her before pretending to kiss the burn mark and Aurora laughed.

"Now, what should we do about this hair?" Daniel questioned. Aurora hopped down from the counter and grabbed a hair tie and a black ribbon. She pulled her hair back into a ponytail, pulling two strands out, leaving them in the front. She went to grab the black ribbon but Daniel got it first. "May I?"

Aurora nodded and turned around. Daniel wrapped the ribbon around the hair tie that held up the ponytail, tying it up into a pretty bow. "Thank you for dealing with me."

"Gladly, love," Daniel shrugged and Aurora tried not to blush as she grabbed her keys and her wallet and placed it in the purse she was carrying tonight. "I've noticed you tend to stress out over things, a lot."

"Yeah, well..." Aurora mumbled and looked down at her phone, noticing texts from the Teen Wolf groupchat asking where they were.

"Laura mentioned to me at the airport that you have anxiety." Daniel admitted and Aurora closed her eyes.

"I don't know why she told you." Aurora shook her head, rolling her eyes.

"She's worried that doing two shows at once is going to have an affect on you, stress you out." Daniel explained.

"I'll be fine, I said I could handle it." Aurora repeated.

"Ju-Just promise me you'll talk to someone if it becomes too much." Daniel begged.

"I will." Aurora agreed. "You look really nice, I forgot to tell you."
