Nandini

I wish everything always felt like this.

So light, supple, nice. I couldn't find any worries or secrets anywhere, and that felt so damn nice.

But even in the middle of the intoxicating delusion, why was Manik Malhotra still bothering me? Huh?

Couldn't he just go away? I couldn't take to feel so much about one damn person, you know. He should know that. He should know and he should spare me. I hadn't done anything wrong to him, right? Then who gave him the right to make me feel so hot and bothered and so sinfully good?

No body, right? Nobody.

It felt better though, when the cool air of the night hit my skin contrast to the heated, smug air inside the club. I smiled, my stomach fluttering, I was feeling damn good huh?

"Okay, so now. Who drives whom home?" I heard Cabir's voice, and frowned, "Why are we talking about going home? Aren't we suppose to stay here all night and dance?"

He smiled at me, very cutely, "Yeah Nandini, you're definitely supposing that, because you're drunk,"

"And who told you- oh," I stumbled on a giant, no no, small rock, the pencil heel of my stilettos making a funny sound with it, "Sorry! Sorry! I was saying that I'm not drunk. But Mukti was, no? Now where is she?"

"Here I am, here I am, how do you do?" Mukti came from behind me and circled her arms around me, "See? I sing so well na Nandini? Manik said I sing like frogs"

"No!" I wrinkled my nose, "You don't sing like frogs! You sing like.. like.. crocodile!" I laughed, stumbling once again but Mukti held me tight. I looked at Navya, "I'm right no, Navya?"

But Navya was sleeping on Cabir's arm. Aww, sleeping beauty.

"I do NOT sing like crocodile!" Mukti yelled in my ear, making me squirm, "Manik has living proof of that. Where is Manik Malhotra?"

"Right here, right here," I heard Manik's voice somewhere behind me. but couldn't turn around because Mukti was holding me so, so, so tight.

But then, well done Mukti! I shouldn't see Manik Malhotra's face much! Right?

I stumbled forward again with a push, and I screamed, "OYE!"

"Sorry, shit, sorry!" I turned around to see Manik had circled his arms around Mukti's neck, just like she had done with me.

"Copy Cat! Manik Malhotra is a copy cat!" I yelled. Manik widen his lips in a thin line, "Fine!I'm copy cat and you're Persian cat. Those fat, chubby ones!"

I scoffed and turned back. How dare he tease me like that?

"Oh God," I looked up at Alya, my beeeeeeest friend! She was looking back and forth at us in.. disbelief?"Even Manik is drunk?"

I freed myself from Mukti's grip and ran to my beeeeeest friend, putting my arms around her shoulder from a side. I giggled, looking back at Mukti and Manik, who were now moodily holding each other in half closed eyes. I made a serious tone, "Alya, don't you know Manik Malhotra DOES NOT get drunk?"

Then I burst into laughter again. Hahaha, someone was saying he doesn't get drunk?

"I'm not drunk!" Manik grunted, frowning at Alya, "Princess, who told you I'm drunk? Nandini? Arreh she's drunk, she doesn't know what she is saying,"
