She shook her head. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. You're still stopping by tomorrow, right?"

"Yes ma'am," I mock saluted. She rolled her eyes and took my friends' orders before heading behind the counter. When I faced forward, both pairs of eyes were on me. "What?"

"It's just weird how you're so close with Dean's family," Jaz pointed out. Her eyes twinkled. That worried me.

I narrowed my eyes into paper-thin slits as I made the most serious face I could muster. "Don't even think about it."

"What?" She innocently batted her thick lashes.

"Don't even think about the possibility of us getting back together." I really thought after that whole drunken confession, she was over the idea. I guess not. I didn't get why either. She seemed so pissed with him at the time.

Her eyes widened. "But you both are going to be at the wedding! That's romantic! You never know..." Dylan jabbed her in the side but the spark never dulled in her eyes. "I'm just saying."

"Yeah, yeah," I sarcastically replied. "In all honesty, I think I'm going to give up boys for a while. Too time consuming."

Even Dylan thought this was ridiculous. When I raised a questioning brow, he stopped his snickering and gave me a deadpan look. "You spent the first two and a half years of high school crushing on Drew. Then you spent the rest of that year after Dean. What makes you think you can move on?"

"Yeah, don't give up hope! Maybe you'll find someone at the wedding," Jaz said, wiggling her brows suggestively.

Now I couldn't tell if she wanted me with Dean or simply with anyone.

Nat came back and put our food on the table. "Alrighty. Bella, don't forget to be there tomorrow! Seriously, I'm gonna need all the help I can get."

"Help?" I curiously asked. She made it seem like this event was going to be crazy.

She gave me a tight-lipped smile. "You'll see." And with that, she left me feeling confused.

I gently shook my head and hoped it wasn't as bad as she was making out to be. Nat did have the tendency to be dramatic when she wanted.

"So have you meet the soon-to-be hubby?" Jaz asked, twirling the straw of her Dr Pepper.

Ethan flashed in my mind and I immediately smiled. I haven't seen him since the cake tasting. "Yes, oh my god," I squealed. "Jaz, he's so cute, holy shit. Like I think I have a crush on him. Which is weird because ya know... he's getting married to Nat. But holy shit, he's so hot."

Dylan rolled his eyes while plopping a fry into his mouth. "Okay, so when I go after married women it's wrong..."

"Shut up," I mumbled, cheeks going red. I didn't really know why I was embarrassed. It's not like I would ever go after Ethan. He was just nice to look at. And listen to. And smell.

My god I was such a creep.

"I'm not 'going after' him, I'm simply admiring the view. Besides, he's gonna be like my brother-in-law soon."

Jasmine's eyes widened and I soon realized my mistake. "Brother-in-law?"

I made it sound like Dean and I were going to get married one day. "I just mean that the Cullen's feel like a second family," I muttered harshly. It didn't deject her from thinking mischievous thoughts. I dipped my fries in my milkshake – yes, I got a milkshake. Still don't know the meaning behind it. "What're your thanksgiving plans?"

"Heading down to Georgia to visit family," Dylan said with a sour face. He probably didn't want to visit.

Jaz put a reassuring hand on his shoulder before smiling. "I'm going on a cruise!"
