I cup her face with my hands and I kiss her. I take my time and I kiss her, taking in every second of it.

"Dude, you got this. I know you've never really opened up to anyone like this, let alone the public, but it's ok to be scared. Just don't let it limit you," I say to Lauren. We're writing the last single off her album. Well, technically lauren is writing it all by herself, and I just help organize it.
"How about something like this?" I take a piece of paper and write down the lyrics.

I hand the paper over to Lauren and she read it over.
"And then, you could go back in with the chorus and expand it a little bit, emphasizing the entire idea of 'To the people i hurt'," I explain.
"You're a fucking genius, Emilie," Lauren says. I chuckle and nod. She finishes writing the lyrics and gets into the booth.
Earlier, I had composed the beat by fooling around with a guitar and a little bit of bass guitar. Lauren was just shouting out random chords and I put them together.
I play the instrumental and Lauren starts recording.
