I woke up with Billies arms wrapped around me and her blonde hair laying flat against my chest. I feel for my phone on the nightstand and after a few failed attempts, I finally pick up my phone and see that it's 10 in the morning.
I was so exhausted and the room seemed to be spinning. Last day of this weekend and I have to go crazy with my shows. But, I literally can't get up for two reasons: 1) I can't feel a single muscle in my body from how exhausted I am and 2) Billie is sleeping on my chest and I don't want to wake her. Shay facetimes me.
"What's up?" I whisper, lowering my phone volume.
"You look like shit," Shay tells me.
"No way, I had no idea," I say sarcastically. "We stayed up late after the set to celebrate."
"Em, how are you?!" Julian asks, running into frame.
"I'm fine Julian, what about you? How's Paige?"
"She's great, we're all at your house right now; me, Shay, Tyler, dad, and Paige," Julian tells me. "We want to watch the game and you have the best TV."
"Alright that's fine, but stay away from my stash of snacks, get your own," I point a finger. He laughs before walking away and Shay appears again on my phone.
"You guys behaving?" Shay asks.
"Shay, I'm 19," I laugh but she's serious with her question. "Yes, we're safe."
We continued to talk for another hour until Billie and Lauren woke up. We got up and changed into our day three outfits. I wore ripped sage green linen pants with a white and green Mac Miller shirt with Blazers. I clipped my hair back and added some rings and necklaces. Måneskin goes on stage around 4 o'clock so I'll change then.
Billie went to go be with Finneas and Claudia so that left me and Lauren to go get breakfast ourselves.
"How are things? Between you and Bry, I mean," I ask, flipping through the menu.
"Uh, it-it's definitely questionable. We've hung out a few times with our friends and Id pick her up from set and we'd go eat just the two of us, but I don't know if she wants to get back together anymore," Lauren explains.
Lauren is my best friend, right? It hurts to see her in so much pain over a girl she's crazy for. Lauren would rant to me for hours about all her wedding ideas and Id help her out whenever she was indecisive about something. Lauren was ready to settle down and move onto her next stage in life, but that opportunity was taken away.
"Laur, you and Bry are soulmates. You both physically cannot be with anyone else. I've spoken to her a few times since she broke things off and she had caught feelings for someone in Australia but things never progressed because she kept subconsciously comparing her to you. You guys will find your way back to each other, you always do," I say, putting a reassuring hand on hers. She smiles and thanks me. The waitress comes over and takes our order quickly before running back toward the kitchen.
"So what about you and Bil?" Lauren asks.
I sighed. I didn't the answer myself. "Uh, we're good. We're not dating, you know? Though we do love each other very much and still act very couple-y but there is not official label there. I wanted it that way though. We both had just left long term relationships to be together, no matter how bullshit her and Drew's relationship was."
