47. Electrocardiograph

"RAINAAAaaaaa!!!!" everyone got up from their chairs and shouted.
A comment so cheap and derogatory for Maan and Swarnima? They  share a pure, saintly and an unadulterated relation?

"Sorryyyy!! Sorryyy! Don't kill me!! I was just joking... I just wanted to see how much you all love her and how special she is. Adah told me about her. I was just checking. I didn't mean what I said." Raina covered up in the most convincing tone she could. Adah and she sure had something planned.

Her apology was not accepted because everyone was still raging from within. The after party was no longer a party. The happy faces were now filled with anguish and hatred for Raina.

"Umm... seems like you guys are still angry. I'm, I am sorry. If you forgive me I am sure they will too. Help me seek apology." Raina tricked Swarnima. She knew she would help her. After all, everyone stood for her except for her, herself. What a clever girl! She has an army for herself. Adah was right,  there is more to Swarnima than they can see.

"You heard her? She is clarifying herself. It's a happy day... let's end it on a happy note. I am requesting." Swarnima requested everybody. The entire table was expecting her to say that. They knew how Swarnima was. They were not as forgiving as her. But, Swarnima requested and she should order not request. With half hearted hearts everyone nodded and finished their drinks and snacks.

Raina kept talking but the replies she got were brief. Swarnima's phone buzzed and she told everyone, "Sorry. But I have to leave."

"Come, I will drop you." Arya and Abhedya said at the same time. They were also trying to cover up. Cover up is worse than wrong doing. It brings you down.

"I have a ride. Thank you!" Swarnima replied and left.
Abhedya followed her and caught hold of her hand asked, "Who are you going with?"

"With myself," Swarnima informed him. A car came infront of the cafe and the driver gave her the keys.

She took the keys, sat in the car and drove away. Abhedya just stood there.
'She will leave you again Abhey! Don't be so blind. Don't let her go! She is the one for you!!' His heart shouted.
'I won't let her go! She won't leave me. Sure, I was wrong but I will win her back. I will apologise to her and sort things out.' His brain said with determination.

Raina caught Abhedya midway and dragged him to an isolated corner, pinned him to the wall and in a seductive tone said, "Don't be so annoyed Abhey. I was just kidding and it came out all wrong. Didn't know you all were so sensitive for her. But I know how I can make up to you."

Raina pushed herself more into Abhedya and trailed her fingers on Abhedya's face and went lower.
Abhedya was still thinking about Swarnima. He was not even conscious about what Raina was saying or doing. Until, she pulled his face in for a kiss. On, a normal day, Abhedya would not have missed the chance of kissing a sexy seductress like Raina, but today his mind was diverted.
Just when their lips were about to touch...

"I am so sorry! I just wanted to use the restroom. Never mind! Sorry!" Swarnima who returned to use the restroom found Raina and Abhedya in a compromising position.

"Nim, Wait!! It's not what it looked like. I don't even know what was happening." Abhedya gained his senses back on hearing Swarnima's voice and ran after her to explain his actions.

"It's okay! Don't bother explaining. You are two adults. I am sorry! I spoilt your moment." Swarnima disappeared  from there as quickly as possible.

Abhedya just stood there. The day couldn't get worse. "Damn! She spoiled the moment. Would you Umm... like to... you know go for it, again?" Raina asked Abhedya in her sexiest voice.
