(This is actually is and probably will still be once we're back in school a huge problem at my school. Many people would use hate speech against other students to try and get to them. Never, ever, stoop down that low. You can lose friends, and the hate speech will never fully leave, it will always follows the person around. No matter how mean the person, don't do it. Anyways, on with the scenario. It will be placed in a highschool setting.*
You walked into your new school with a smile, the new school, and soon to be new friends were awaiting you. As you were walking down the halls to your first class, you noticed a boy, he seemed down and sad, his hood up. As he passed by certain groups, some snickered and said mean things about the boy and his past, and clearly made sure it was within earshot. You followed him since it was the way you have to go to get to your class, and he happened to turn into the same classroom as you. Do you confront him or leave him be for now?
