STAR'S POV
"Yeah, I'll be leaving for the airport in a little while. I should be there by evening" Logan says to whoever she's talking to on the other end of the phone and I can't help the frown on my face
I can't even hide the fact that I don't want her to go.
"Hm, alright. See you in a bit" she says before hanging up and going on with zipping up her luggage
"What's wrong?" She asks, turning to me
"Hm?"
"You're staring with that frown on your face" she chuckles, going to grab her shirt off the chair and I sigh
"I'll miss you"
"You said that all through yesterday" she says, putting the shirt on
"Cause I will"
"Even though I'm mean to you?" She asks and I nod
"Yeah. Even though you won't hang out with me and leave me to be bored, I still like having you around" I say and she only lets out a small laugh "Do you really have to go?"
"I do. Besides I already booked my flight" she says and I sigh loudly
"What if I fall sick?"
"You won't"
"But what if I do?"
"Then you can go to the hospital" she says and I frown
"What if I don't have the strength to go to the hospital?" I ask
"Then you can call Kester and he'll come get you" she says, now brushing her hair up into a bun
"Okay"
"Stop sulking"
"I can't help it" I say back and she chuckles
"You're cute" she says as she keeps little things in her bag and I can't help the smile on my lips
"Want me to help with something?" I ask
"Yeah, come here" she says and I nod, walking over to her

"I won't stay away too long, don't worry. Just a few days and I'll be back" she says after keeping her things in the car and I nod
"Okay. I'll be here" I say and she nods with a smile
"Alright. Take care of yourself alright? And call me if anything comes up"
"Will you come back home?" I ask
"Yeah, yeah I will so make sure it's really important cause this is really important too, me going" she says and I nod
"Understood" I say and she smiles
"Good. I should be on my way, my flight leaves soon" she says
"Okay. Call me when you get there okay?" I say, wrapping my arms around her in a hug
"Of course" she says, returning the hug briefly before prying my unwilling arms away with a laugh "I really have to go okay?"
"I know. Bye"
"Bye" she says before going around to the driver's side and I follow after her
"Drive safe alright?" I say as she enters the car
"I will" she smiles, winding down the window as she shuts the door
"And make sure to eat properly okay? Don't just whine to yourself about being hungry" I say leaning against the car so I was closer to her
"You're like my wife" she chuckles "I promise I'll take care of myself" she says and I nod
"Good. See you soon"
"Yeah" she says and silence falls between us for a few seconds
"I'll miss you too by the way" she says and I don't even get to react to that before I feel her lips against mine softly and I'm practically melting at this point
It's only a few seconds before she pulls away and I can't think of words to leave my mouth as my fingers subconsciously go to touch my lip.
Did she just kiss me?
"Bye" she says and I can only manage to raise my hand as I stand in a daze and she chuckles "Go inside, it's cold" she says before driving out of the compound
No games.
No bets.
Nothing, she really kissed me just like that right?
She said she'd miss me and then she kissed me.
Am I in heaven?
It can't just be in my head right? That she likes me?
As much as she's a womanizer, she's not mean enough to play with me like that...right?
I can't go further in my thoughts as I feel a chill. She's right, it's cold.
"Really cold" I mumble before hurrying inside the house and shutting the door behind me, a smile on my recently kissed lips
