STAR'S POV

"No one knocks these days anymore huh?" I hear Logan murmur under her breath as she gets up from the couch and goes to meet a seemingly excited Selena who throws herself into Logan's arms

"I missed you" she smiles

"Did you?" Logan asks only and the brunette nods

"I called, did you see?" She asks, releasing Logan from the hug

"Probably, it was an unknown number so I didn't answer it."

"You don't have my number anymore?" Selena frowns

"It would seem so. What's your name again, Marisa is it?" Logan asks taking her phone out her pocket probably to save her number

"Selena. It's Selena" the brunette frowns obviously not pleased with the constant mistake

"Are you sure? Didn't you say Marisa before?" Logan asks and I have to stifle a laugh from where I'm knelt by the couch but I still get a brief glare from Selena either ways

"I said Selena, not Marisa" She says and Logan hums, typing a bit before returning her phone to her pocket and going to take her seat back on the couch and I take that as a hint to get up from the floor while Selena starts talking again.

"Who is this Marisa you keep mistaking me for? Some babe you're fucking? " she asks, sitting down next to Logan on the couch

Maybe if you fucked half as good as this Marisa, she'd remember your name. I think to myself, sitting down on the couch

That was petty.

But she's taking out of my time right now. I'm supposed to be getting rid of my boredom with my housemate right now.

But she just had to come in right now.

"What are you doing here by the way? Isn't it only courteous to inform someone of your intention to visit?" She asks and Selena clears her throat

"Well that was why I called but you didn't answer the phone" she defends

"You should have sent a message then, I'd have no choice but to read it"

"Sorry, next time I will. I was just excited to see you" Selena says quietly and I kind of feel bad at how much she's trying.

Easily accepting faults and taking instructions simply because it's Logan it's coming from.

"That's fine, I wanted to see you too" Logan says, a smile stretching on her lips and I raise a brow at the switch

"Really?" Selena asks and Logan nods

"It's been a while since we met, hasn't it? I couldn't help but think about you all day" She says and the grin on Selena's face is automatic

If I didn't know better, if I didn't know that just this afternoon, another woman had left the house after spending all night here, I'd also believe that lie.

Because her words sound so convincing and the smile on her face looks too sincere to accompany a lie.

"I'm glad I came then. I was a bit scared you'd ask me to go back or something"

"And why would I do that? I like you a lot"

How is she so straight to the point with all these? In front of someone else for that matter

She's not even bothering to beat around the bush and just speaking as she sees fit and unfortunately, the one who the words are being conveyed to eats it all up.

I can tell from that love struck look in her eyes and the permanent grin on her lips.

I see we have a player on our hands.

"Well, I just...I didn't know that" Selena says quietly "But I'm glad" she adds quickly

"As you should be" Logan smiles

Okay Miss Cocky.

"I really missed you though. I didn't hear from you anymore after that day" she says quietly

Cause she was busy with other women, obviously.

Sorry, this is too much entertainment. Sort of like a movie and I have to make comments in my head.

"Did you? How much?" Logan asks and the smile on her face as well as her suggestive tone sends even my cheeks red, a mirror of the same effect on Selena, and I'm not even the one being spoken to

"A lot"

"Why don't we go back to your place?" She asks

Er...excuse me? What about my 1 hour, 30 minutes?

"R..really?"

"Of course. I'll go get ready, you wait down here" she says and Selena nods eagerly before we both watch Logan make her way upstairs

Seriously? She's just ditching me?
